Idk if it's the build or the player, tho.
I see a lot of sharp shots, play shots, etc...

I'm hoping it's a player thing and not a build thing. With silver corner specialist i was hoping that would help stretch the floor.Comment

They just see it as a slasher with a better shot..which I guess it is technically, but you're doing no favors not using your badges

Yeah a 70 rating from mid especially moving isn't great. I'm glad badges are easier to get this year. I'm not going to be as upset if my pull up game isn't all that great. I just need to be a threat.Comment

Re: Pro Am Builds For 2k19
Played my first 2 games of walk on with my 80 rated 6’11 Rebounding Athletic Finisher. Got matched up with an 88 7’3 Glass Cleaner in both games of course lol. Dude was pretty bad - never left the paint, just walked in and out. Only 2 games but I’m glad I didn’t go max size from what I saw. He was a bully inside for sure and was hard to keep off the glass. I outrebounded him in both games though and homie was slow as sin in transition. It’s way more noticeable this year. If I had a better guard, we probably could have scored in transition on every missed shot or steal. And with steals jacked up so high, there is a LOT more transitions.
It was only a couple of games and maybe homie didn’t have his badges despite his rating. Rebounds seem more realistic this year. They were actually distributed throughout the team’s instead of 2 guys snagging 75% of their team’s rebounds.Comment

Re: Pro Am Builds For 2k19
No, they put out their whole table saying which builds can get to that level of dribbling. If I don't get it until I'm a 99 overall that's basically unobtainable.
If they knew certain builds wouldn't get it until that high they could have included that in the table.

If you made a short player you're likely gonna be able to hit 86 with in the first upgrade or two. Taller players make take a while so I'm sure you'll be fine.Comment

Re: Pro Am Builds For 2k19
I'm confused as hell myself. So if I unlock my last attribute for Ball Handling say at 92 overall it's not going to be 88 like the chart stated? I have to hit 99 to max it out? That don't sound right unless I'm reading it wrong. Somebody clarify. I thought this was the same system as 2k18

Re: Pro Am Builds For 2k19
I'm still playing offline building up badges but I'm so far impressed with my PF Shot-Creating Post-Scorer.
Dominant takeover, can hit corner 3's at 60%, solid midrange which complements the (overpowered?!) post game.
I went with 6'10" for athleticism and slightly shorter wingspan for shooting. It feels kind of weak on the boards and shot contests but that's not what this build is for.
Not a good dribbler which I am constantly reminded of when I try to play him like the Shot-Creating Slasher I had in '18.Comment
