You should be fine for 86 im pretty sure, but as it promised 88 I highly doubt that. Is it even possible to get +3 with a single bar? I say it like this, I wouldnt wonder if that what the game tells during player creation is wrong. And if its so 2k is in for a serious backslash. I myself made my pure sc at sg 6'4 to get 86 ball control...

I've gotten +3 before on a single bar but that was on my Mid Range shooting. I'm not sure if it's going to be the case this time around for Ball Handling. I tweeted Mike Wang but never got a reply. Really has me wondering.

Was the 88 Ball Control stated after you chose your height and wingspan?

Once I put my weight and wingspan down it went up to 88. Other ratings went up too (Speed, Acceleration etc.) Once I get back home I'll see if the Caps for Speed and Acceleration are going to match the screenshot I took while I was making the player. I don't mind starting over as the grind doesn't seem too bad this year but that's 200k+ VC gone down the drain. I need that back lol.

Yeah, it's been really prevalent this year. Even my opponents are missing all kinds of easy bunnies. I have silver relentless and my guy is allergic to putting the ball in the bucket if it's even merely a light contest.

This year it feels like the ball is being programmed to just rim out every time.

Anyways my new center feels insanely fast. And I haven't even put anything in him yet, lol.



Also I turned off my layup meter after I watched my slasher miss two straight WIDE the **** open floaters

Weird. I haven’t really felt that although I haven’t played online. My Rebounding Athletic Finisher seems to finish in traffic semi-reliably and doesn’t blow open looks very often.

I did blow a breakaway floater that I did for mypoints lol. But honestly it’s kind of dumb to pull out a floater on a breakaway so I didn’t rage too much. I find the meter pretty useful for floaters honestly so I leave it on.

Yes layups are atrocious with bigs.

I said earlier, my friend has an athletic defender 6'11 c and can't finish with any presence down low.

It's like the only viable builds I've seen so far for bigs are stretches and rebounders. Sounds familiar...hope they fix it. Feel bad for anyone who used the 100k pre-order and got screwed.

Also, boy, please don't tell me the caps before creation were lying. I made a 6'4 pure shot creator as well to get that handle..

I believe those are max stats, meaning they are the stats once you unlock all the cap breakers and hit 99.

Im surprised he didn't go up and yam that after the drop step. Thats weird though, my buddy is running something similar and he's doing okay with the lay ups. He is still getting blocked somehow from those pump fake blocks, where the defender is on the way down.

I don't think it's misleading. Did you expect it to be at 85? It is really the only thing that makes sense. The positive part is that you will swing over 86 at different times during the game as you get hot.

No, they put out their whole table saying which builds can get to that level of dribbling. If I don't get it until I'm a 99 overall that's basically unobtainable.

If they knew certain builds wouldn't get it until that high they could have included that in the table.

You need to hit 99 only if ball control is the very last cap breaker to unlock, otherwise you will get it before.

I think I am going to test out a 7'3 Paint Protector. I am going to be very slow but the extra length should help defend against the majority of big men.
