Post moves seem really slow. Jumpers fire off in a millisecond, but by the time I do a drop step or spin, I've got 4 defenders surrounding me. I have to assume they get faster as you badge up? I only have silvers right now. When you are on takeover they are really fast.

But they are no where near as strong as catch n shoot HOF .
I don’t even see pure post scorers use them a lot .Last edited by Rockie_Fresh88; 09-21-2018, 11:17 AM.#1 Laker fan

Lol I enjoy bullying them . It’s too easy .
I haven’t noticed a big diffence from silver to gold . I will say at gold post spin tech I started breaking ankles as if I were in takeover. On dropstep Gold and Up and under HOF it seems like I can go up a bit quicker.

Re: Pro Am Builds For 2k19
A lot of times when I play in the JRC people are ball hogging and/or passing to their friends. I'm fine with that. My play style is weird because I don't like to shoot the basketball, but I love playing defense. I really want to make a pure lock because I think that would be the funnest playstyle for me, but I have seen videos posted by pure lock players that say it's damn near impossible to level their Defensive Stopper badge to HoF because they don't get enough points for steals and such.
The video I saw was made on the 11th and I know there has been at least one patch since then. Did they address this issue?Comment

Re: Pro Am Builds For 2k19
I have a pure playmaking PG and it's really fun to use in MyCareer vs the CPU, but it kind of sucks from my experience online because you can't shoot all that well and if you're playing with randoms they're more than likely not going to let you run the offense. Defense will be solid because you're 6'6" and going against smaller PG's, but it's pretty meh.
Now, if you go in with friends it will be a lot more fun because they will allow you to utilize your dimer; however, not being able to shoot very well from a guard spot is rough.Comment

Re: Pro Am Builds For 2k19
I think that the best build for PG's is.... pure shot creator. It's tough to "control the game like a real pg should" when the defence don't have to respect your shot.My Youtube channel (lot of SIM gameplay):

Re: Pro Am Builds For 2k19
And why is that exacly? Does this build activate some kind of "switch" in user head that tells him how to run the offence?

Re: Pro Am Builds For 2k19
People give PG's no respect in Pro Am because you can rip the ball like it's nothing. Dimer is a game changer but it's sad to see point guards so shook sometimes. Until it's fixed it's almost like damn, you should have just made a SGLast edited by Steez On Lock; 09-21-2018, 05:29 PM.Comment

Re: Pro Am Builds For 2k19
I feel like most guards got so used to being bailed out by animations and badges in the past games now they are exposed for it. Just the fact of not being able to dribble through someone and still keep possesion has exposed most of the guards and on top of that you can't throw reckless passes like 18 makes it even tougher. Early release was a nightmare for guards lolComment
