2nd post.

This game and it’s match making makes ZERO sense......

I spend 45 mins, dashboarding “trying to use the current raptors” I get nothing but alltime teams/warriors over and over.....

I get fed up/my wife tells me to hurry up. So I’m screw this, I chose alltime lakers, I get opponents as per the following: current blazers, current spurs, current thunder.....they all dashboard me, then I get current kings, he plays me. I win 30-4. My cpu defense is literally playing for me, getting steals
At the top of the 3 point line, no turnovers etc etc.

Guys I don’t make this stuff up.....this game is insanity!

I knew it, using the current raptors vs tier 1 in goat is settint me up at an extreme disadvantage.

I chose alltime lakers, my opponent is the current kings, let me be able to switch my team (within tier) to match up ???

Maybe let us “adjust our team” within the tier ? Maybe that would releave some dashboarding and spawn some different match ups ??

I don’t know, I’m trying to give suggestions here and stay positive but this game is just insane at some times......

All time vs non all time is a FN bug who wants to play against some hardcore AI that's why we play PNO.

As for getting Dubs all the time they did try address that with the tier system leveling up system, I'm ok with that.

So most likely you are getting matched up to Dubs players with some level of skill in the higher leagues. Scary thought.

Can't explain why it would switch up once you changed to All time lakers...that's messed up.

Someone needs to send a memo out stating that the PnR can't be abused. The stupidity of how people keep going to it although they're shooting under 40% is amazing to me.

If Gasol went to the lakers 2k would’ve updated by 3:15m est.

Truth.

Anyways, my PSN ran out so when couldn’t play tonight, honestly didn’t want to getting a PSN card tomorrow at lunch and then beginning the Gasol era tomorrow night.

I used the Raptors GOAT tier (pretty much stopped playing with tier 1 teams after I got the achievement)

You are at a huge disadvantage using them, but you just have to take your matchups in consideration. I only played the Lakers/Celtics + any other team. You have a higher chance of playing mediocre players that spam bron and kyrie. Never the Warriors or GOAT teams. That’s bascially an instant loss.

Played a guy today where that was his whole offense, and his D was randomly switching between HC Trap, 2-3 and a poor man defense. He was up 15 with about two minutes left in the first half because we couldn't hit an open shot. Outscored him by 25 the rest of the way, including a 22-8 fourth quarter. When we started locking up the ballhandler on the PnR, his O was toast.

That's how some of my games play too. By the end of the second quarter, you can generally figure out what they know and don't know offensively. When I lose a game, it's typically due to poor shooting. Some people complained about the shot contest buff, but it was a needed change when it came to defending the PnR effectively.

I know that I'm in the minority, and I purposely haven't progressed beyond the JC league, but I really do like the gameplay despite some of it's flaws. NBA 2K19 has become my most played game in my library, and I haven't said that about any NBA 2K game for some years now.
