My final record for 2k19, it was pretty good year for pno at least on PC. It was the smoothest online mode, last 3 months it was almost offline like. Just annoying that all time teams could match up vs current/historic teams and I did avoid those games by quitting before game start .

Gameplay wise it wasn't most fun though . Way too easy to hit semi-open shots, even with average shooters and post scoring ridiculous powerful. I didnt like how passing worked either, always bad passing angles , unrealistic players reaction time to intercept passing lanes.

Another funny thing that only special to 2k19 PNO was people rage quitting. Its always been the case that somebody would just quit early when im up big early or if i just get big lead eventually. But this year, especially, people would just insta quit if I only gain a little momentum in the game with small lead, like go from -6 to +4 before 1st half time and its insta rage quit, so silly.



Most games I've used 01-02 Kings. Webber insanely good, definitely top 3 player you can use in PNO . Corner freelance works perfect with this team, its 3-2 based offense. You can initiate by feeding webber in high post and u get instant cut from passer and follow up off ball screen action to sf (or sg) on the weak side, so you always have 3-4 good scoring options.

I played with the Kings last week. They are pretty awesome. I have to try corners out. I usually stick with 3 out 2 in.

I had a guy quit on me after I was down by 20 points all game. I cut the lead to 5 with seconds left in the 4th quarter. And then this dude quit. I was so confused. I still am.

Glad to hear the lag on PC wasn't bad. I finished the year strong too after they let us play with our squads all the time. I was like 28-153 at one time because i'd play 2 possessions and quit as a workaround. I started putting dudes to sleep after they took that restriction off tho. [emoji23]

Dude that's hilarious. First off, he's a BOSTON fan so what do you expect? [emoji23] second, you down 20 with the Warriors? GO PLAY MADDEN--this game isn't for you.

Lastly, at the highest level there are so many actions happening off the ball it'll make your head spin. All of the elite guys i've played has stuff they run where shooters get open vs AI defenders. Hopefully they run it early so you know what it looks like. If they run it once when they need it? You're probably cooked.

I got stuff where Jimmy, Harris and JJ come off Embiid screens wide open. Its me vs the shot meter at that point...if you think the AI defender is gonna save you? Good Luck. The game is a mixture of on-ball and off-ball defense. I learned the hard way when 2K7 introduced catch/shoot and shooters lit my *** up on the regular.

This one guy yesterday whined to me too. But cried about Redick coming off screens wide open. These lil rules these guys have in their heads kill me.

This guy went to Korver after it was obvious D.Rose wasn't gonna have a big game. After it was obvious Korver wasn't gonna be open, he literally started turboing into me in order to get him space--and you guys wonder why we need more charges and loose balls from dribbler-initiated collisions:

What restriction are you talking about?


As soon as I got to Development league. I just either lose games. Or play with the same teams over and over. I have no interest in anything above that.

No I was referring to at launch when they locked you out of teams after you got the proper amount of wins to move up. Then they took it off later that month for guys like me who don’t really enjoy playing with other squads.

No, no, no you're right...if you go online you have to be prepared for whatever the opponent does. I don't think he was whining tho. It sounds like his connection is bad and because of that, the "hunting" is really effective.

Exactly. It's the absurdity of it all that someone thinks they can play like that and win. I still win most of the time but the games go down to the wire against dudes who take 3s with Sumpert...ffs.

I keep falling into the trap of trying to on-ball. I'm not used to switching off as soon as they pass to me, usually it's to late anyway as I'm a second behind the action or out of position.

Unfortunately with the lag I'm just reinforcing their ridiculous game style where they think they are competing.

Against LBJ and other stars yeh I might off-ball but it depends on your opponent as others have said. You need to mix it up.

Against Yanni for example I will on-ball sag in the paint and they will still try drive regardless but if it's effective I will off-ball and double and see if they are actually decent at passing in time. Most aren't lol

In typical 2K style both his backcourt had gatorade with 2mins to go but...down by 3 with a minute left Korver let's a 35ft go which is a typical desperado play and 2K let's him make it! Utter nonsense.

Don't sub well and shoot ridiculous shots...no worries 2K has got your back lol

Yeah...I definitely felt like his shooting was too good, but I don't want a world where we don't have contested makes so i'll deal with that (also JJ's contest ratings are low) the bigger issues for me were absolutely no downside to him 1) spamming steal 2) no tangible results from low fatigue and 3) him turboing into me without risk.

All three of those are really, really bad. Any one of them could have cost me the game.

But that's the thing I've been saying. As 2k vets we win most of the time playing smart basketball. Yes we see some ridiculous things happen. But I'd say 90-95 percent of the time. We are on the winning side.

Those badges also have a factor in these weird situations. I just started taking advantage of the limitless badge. I never took far 3 pointers until like a month ago.

For sure. I won over 90% of my games this year. But most of my losses were due to bad mechanics that shrunk the skill gap. This caused close games with guys who really shouldn’t have been able to compete.

The game is better than steal spam, starters playing the entire game or guys turboing into you and drawing fouls. Because that’s what’ll happen.

I was playing it just for the GOAT trophy but knowing that it's a glitch and multiple times getting 7 games in a row and losing the eighth games just reset my game count i'm tired of trying.

Also, playing all time teams you can't get away because everybody is looking to cheese with them can't be help man. Might as well ride the ship or just get NBA2K20.
