Yeah, I was playing with the 14 Pacers a few days ago and Hibbert and West got absolutely mauled on the glass by Kanter and Nurkic lol.

Every time he missed a shot or got the ball deflected he would get it right back. It’s tough to win when someone gets 10+ more shots than you.

Sorry of my life, lol. I swear the bigs for the Pacers play so much differently than the other teams' bigs. I can't get a block to save my life, but it feels when I attack the paint, I rarely get a foul, or the layup animation just hand deliveries the ball into the blocker despite the blocker jumping early. Turner be acting like he's scared to block shots although he has the ratings/badges for it. Hibbert...I don't what be going on with him.

When Turner/Hibber are compared to Gobart or even bum *** Howard, it's like a night and day difference how each player defends the paint.

So, I put up a triple double with Shaq in 13 minutes of playing time lmao.


Finished the 1st quarter with 8/10/6 was up 26-2.

A good post scorer is freaking unstoppable in this game lol.

And that was my first game with the Lakers so I didn't get to run with the Triangle. Plus for whatever reason he ran into a 3-2 zone which opened up Fox and D-Fish to light him up even more lol.

I see you plahing the Dubs.

Can hardly get a game vs non Dubs since KD and Boogie are back. It's ridiculous, can't wait til next season when there will be more parity and variety.

Winning with OKC and lag is tough as hell. I cannot believe how much help these clowns get as Dubs.

I switch to playing as Raps and that kind of evens it up a bit with the AI but I don't really know many good plays so I just have to rely on fundamentals like attack Curry on offense as they try to hide in the corner lol

Does anyway think the 'make him work' setting on D actually do anything? I got gatorade dubs raining 3s on me all the time

I'm starting to think the settings don't work as good as they should, but who knows? I could be something wrong this entire time when I use the settings, lol.

So one of the I things I do when playing the Warriors setting wise. Is force Middle to funnel everything to Shaq. Sometimes I'll even use leave open on his man. There is 17 second on the clock when he releases that corner 3. Which I will gladly give him all game long. Even the guy that's getting green release after green release with Green. But let's be real--the vast majority are playing with GS to have ratings make up for their lack of skill and we both know it. I think I lost TWICE to them all year and if the game has a halfway decent draw foul system both of those games are easy wins.

I don't play them anymore but when I did most of those guys QUIT. They saw the game couldn't bail them out and give them an easy win and so they bailed. Its hilarious--I literally watch them meltdown in real time. They get down 10, miss 2-3 threes in a row and I ignore their flash pausing (Full Disclosure: I'm petty. I'll make them wait the full 60 seconds) during a timeout and they're outta here. [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23]

I am 369-151 (71% win) and im 155-44 this month (77.9% win). I feel very strongly that this game is scripted having played many games in a short period of time I am starting to see patterns. A few plays that happen to a team when they are winning by 10+ in the first quarter:

1)Illegal screens - These really only happen in the 1st and 4th quarter I have noticed and they are usually after something unfortunate happened for the opposing team.

2) And 1 plays - I would say about 95% of the time these happen when the opposing team is on a run, the other team will get an And 1 play. Of course certain players get more, but if a random player gets an And 1, its usually scripted. Also, the free throw after that And 1 is much less likely to go in, just what ive noticed.

3)The winning team will start to miss open or lightly contested lay ups while the other team is making heavy or smothered lay ups.

4)My CPU will move differently sometimes when I call a play on offense. This can sometimes be for the entire 1st half, and then all of the sudden he will start moving normal in the 2nd half.

5) This one is probably the least likely but ill throw it in here. If I am on a 6 game win streak, the 7th game I seem to always start off poorly UNLESS I green my first 2-3 shots. I know Jerry West's shot very well, and I know what kind of full whites usually go in when wide open. I pretty much only miss these types of shots in the 7th game after my 6 game streak.


Here is the thing. I am Pretty sure this game is scripted and you will see people on here who say "well why do some people have 90%+ win?" It's simply because they do not get tilted when things dont go their way. They continue to play their game and end up beating someone despite the game putting them at a disadvantage.

Moral of the story is, unless we can sue 2k by getting an ex-developer of theres to confirm it is scripted (i'm not a lawyer but i think it would be very difficult), we have to work with what we've got. In a way, everybody is on a somewhat equal playing field overall. of course the worst players in the game will get the most advcantage and the best will get the least, but most of the people in the middle will have just a good of chance to win. The only thing we can control is how we play regardless of what the gameplay is scripting.

Update, here is my weekly record:



I've player 39 games in 4 days (yes lol thats a little much) and have found a few patterns as to scripting. It's mainly my CPU movement on offense that changes. I am not an ISO player so I need my CPU players to behave correctly. Also Offensive rebounds are a huge indicator as well.

I am pretty sure this is going to be in 2k20 and am not looking forward to it.

First, the 2 games I lost were both to the All-time Warriors. I Had double digit first half leads in both. In both games, about 3 minutes into the 2nd quarter I noticed things werent going "my way." My opponent was getting unrealistic offensive rebounds and AND 1 put backs. My tipped passes were going right back to him. Additionally, my CPU started acting really weird on offense. This part is hard to prove, but I can only tell you my word, which is that it felt a lot different.

Both games I lost by 2 points, 1 was in overtime and I missed key freethrows with Ray Allen in one and KD in the other. These were full whites and my players had over 75 stamina. I realize I should green these, but in one of my games my oppentent rattled in (non green) 2 free throws with Wilt Chamberlin. All this is adding up to me. Its really hard to prove, but coming from someone with almost a 95% win in the GOAT league, I feel this game is 100% scripted to keep both players engaged and still playing for all 4 quarters.
