In 2K19 if I play with ACE on, does that mean whatever team I’m playing with will automatically go into the freelance it would be on? Or would I just continue to have to manually select my freelance?

So after trying this out with the short amount of patience that I have, it seemed like they stayed in the "4 out 1 in" freelance where they basically just stand there. From what I've read about 2K20 is that the freelances will be fixed and players will move around better while in a standard freelance. Looking forward to it.

I may have to go back and watch Czar's videos on it. I was under the impression that when ACE is on, it adapts to whatever freelance you choose.

Honestly, for 2k20......

I just want to use whatever team I want every time
I play and be able to advance. If I want to use the raptors every damn time, thats my choice and always should be.

If I pick a regular team, match me with a regular team, classic/classic, alltime/alltime

Kill mirror matches once and for all.

KEEP whatever method they want to avoid same colour jerseys.

KEEP the ability to dashboard, how about just backing in and out of the game to speed it up like NBA Live does.

Have an option to match up against random tiers, to truly bring back random and different matchups again.

Honestly. Just do that and I’ll shut up. I known whatever has been done for 2k20 is done and already finished. But a man can hope....

I like this. My only comment is that I think 2K kind of went overboard with the same color jersey patch. I totally understand what they did and also appreciate it. But a lot of the time if my opponent selected black (raptors) and I selected red (rockets) they wouldn't allow that matchup. Even in the real NBA they allowed this. But in 2K it wouldn't allow it and then would force me into wearing some random throwback unis with short shorts which is what I didn't want.

yes! El Tercero 2 freelance for 2K20 3-2 in and 4-1 freelance will have more dynamic movements when ACE is on. Now, i'm not sure if you turn off ACE how the movements will be not sure!

So I’m trying out calling the “smart play” option every time except for when I’m in transition and I think it’s pretty dope. Shout out to 2K for implementing every team’s signature play styles. Makes the game much easier for me.

It's funny I was using that for offline play vs humans only.

Dude told me the other day. You're really good with them. Like I've never seen anyone play this well with them before.


As much as we complain about bad shooters hitting 3's. There is one thing I've noticed. People don't want to shoot with these bad shooters. Look at the below play. Green and Cousin have been open the whole game like that. For the first half. He was running pick and rolls. But because of the gap on the rollers. My big could get out to the shooter. So I started doubling and hard hedging in the second half.

So this game is super frustrating. I have played about 600 games, made it all the way to NBA at one point and was about 20 games above 500. Then I just randomly had a terrible losing streak where it seemed i lost everything and got to 30 games below 500.

Now I'm back at a 500 record (I play with the Pacers mostly and am in the college level right now and fine with just staying there and using the Pacers) I feel like playing the Pacers is almost a inherent disadvantage but whatever they are my team and I like to use them.

What I want to know, is how certain players seem to get SOOO many steals via their AI on passes and other players do not. Is there some slider or setting I am not aware of? There are just certain times I play against someone who steals so many passes, and these are the same type of passes I'll make all game long against another player and not have them get stolen at all.

Any insight here?

If you haven't done it yet, I would recommend starting Sabonis at the PF, and sliding McQuinn to the number 9 slot on the depth chart. Auto-subs does a wonderful job for me, so it's very rare that you should ever need to do manual subs. I mostly run the Flow and Warriors freelances to give my players open looks, because the Pacers' greatest strength is their shooting ratings. The common trap that I run into which leads to a lot of my turnovers is that the players don't STAY in the open spots despite none of the players are good rim attackers outside of VO. This is really a global legacy problems with players cutting to the basket, but the Pacers really got it bad. I hate when Bojan is spotted up in the corner then he'll cut to the paint the moment I pass him the ball. With the Pacers, it's either a blocked shot, a contested layup with no foul called, or picked out of the air by the AI. Outside of VO, there's really no one on the team to draw fouls.

Defensively, you really only have VO to disrupt the passing lanes. Turner SHOULD be a better rim protector than he is, but I think they screwed up his ratings and tendencies. Turner plays real soft when it comes to blocking shots and most dunk/layup attempts tend to "trigger" his scare to contest animations versus more aggressive blocking animations that I see with Gobert, Embiid, Whiteside, etc. I can't tell how many games that I have played where Turner will have ZERO blocks despite playing some opponents who aggressively attack the paint. However, Sam Pham have some good tutorial videos on some defensive settings to use.

Yeah I start Sabonis and set my team to crash the boards on offense/defense. I get a lot of second chance opportunities by doing this.

I am pretty deadly with Turner popping on the pick and roll. I'm also really good at shooting with Wes Matthews, something about his quick release I'm just deadly with him. I usually start Oladipo, Evans, Matthews, Sabonis, Turner.

I agree Turners defense in this game is pretty bad compared to how good he actually is.

Damn... I've never shot this good in a game. I think it might be the most points I've scored in a half (this cycle) 5 minute game.

Dude is not coming back from that, lol. Maybe...it is only a 13 point lead. It already bad enough that the rebounding is lopsided, but you're scoring at a 90% clip. That's insane.
