It's happened to me a number of times and I pretty much never fast break. The only time I might fast break strategically is 2nd, 3rd, 4th quarter if I notice the other guy is not going to sub and want to blow him out.

Even that is a crap strategy because 2K will still help the loosing team. You would think push the pace against fatigued players would be a huge boost but it ain't most of the time...
You have to account for tireless scorer and other nonsense like that. Ive seen players start playing better while the gatorade icon is present.

Some badges are so stupid. There's no reason why I should EVER lose to an opponent who never subs, but I'm making use of mine subs. I have played games where I don't bother calling timeouts, and make 100% use of my bench. However and somehow, the other team is still manages to still hit their shots like they're 100% fresh. Goes to show that the "excellent green release" is absolute God in the online modes. The Classic GSW team is perfect example of this nonsense. They're basically 6-7 players, but they can outlast the present Pacers team.

Yeah...they definitely need some form of a "hardcore" mode in PNO. I would have to adjust to not having the playart, but I'm not scared to use the 2KU feature to learn some plays.

Can someone explain to me how "get tired while playing defense" works? There's a couple of times my players' circle flashes red which indicates that my player is extremely fatigued. How does that happen? I've seen many times, but I never understood why it would happen.

I'm honestly not sure. I feel like I see it most when using L2 to defend a player who is holding the ball for most of the possession. It feels like it rewards bad offense a lot because the penalty for my defender becoming tired is far greater than the penalty the offensive player faces.

In light of this conversation, I've noticed something about this game through MyTeam Triple Threat that is quite concerning. In real basketball, forcing a worse shot is usually a win for the offense. Giving room to a player trying to shoot off balance from 30+ feet, a player shooting from deep three on the break or very early in the shot clock, forcing up a contested layup, these things are *typically* a win for the defense. In 2k, they're typically a win for the offense.

I get that good offensive players can beat good defense some of the time, but the degree to which it happens in 2k is quite concerning. This is something that needs very severely to be fixed next year. Reward users for playing smart defense and forcing the worse shot and stop letting users off for taking a lower percentage, lower IQ attempt.

Really? That's stupid. The offense can be reckless and barely be impacted by fatigue, but defense is lessen by merely squatting into a defensive stance? I see why people would not want to play their own defense.

Feels I've been hard on this game for the past couple of weeks.

Man, we'll never win that argument. As far as the lowest denominator is concern, bad offense will always beat good defense. As long we have badges that boosts shooting probability over 100%, and excellent releases are 100% make then this will always be a losing battle.

Good news. Czar said he’ll be doing a Play Now Online stream around November to get feedback from the PNO players on what we want in the mode.

I feel you here. I can concur tho, I play D with Redick and i'm pretty active off-ball shading/denying and he definitely fatigues faster than my other starters. I actually feel like fatigue should impact the game more--but like you said, it starts with equal fatigue drain on both sides of the ball for guys being active.
NOTE: Any and ALL of my suggestions are specifically and only related to Play Now Online.

This crow tastes so good, lol.

I guess Mike Wang has a tweet to poll at what contest percentage greens are locked out.

Nice. I know that our mode is not the most glamorous mode when compared to MyPark/MyCareer/MyGM/MyLeague, but it's nice to have someone listen to our thoughts every now and then.

That’s great but in November ??

As in what we want for 2k21 ?

Does this mean 2k20 PNO is the same as 2k19 ??

                            I hope not.....

I finally started getting the 2005 Suns down. You really have to establish the Pick and roll down. I feel as though Nash mid range need a boost.
