Yup.....I remember reading the ones impressions from his midnight release pick up.....

      If I’m a betting they won’t do anything i suggested. They’ll
Probably make it worse....WNBA tier (you have to win one game as WNBA team vs another WNBA team in order to league up......

And the whole Rondo up and under draw foul attempts. The distance you get on those fader shots are crazy.
Yeah some of those shots were just....C'MON. I knew you were in trouble when the triple team came and he didnt pass the ball. Hopefully well-contested shots fall at a lower rate in 2K20. I understand he's MJ, but 10 for 10 and three of those were fall away threes? NAH.

My other issue is why did MJ get the double-team "lite"? Any other time it forces tie-ups and for you to pick the ball up really quickly....especially since all he did was either hold the ball or spin TOWARDS the pressure.

Its why we need to see fatigue play a bigger role in gameplay. I knew he'd suck when the bench came in. That said, him being able to do the same strategy with Kukoc was a big let-down.

I agree with you guys re: eye-rolling these one-move dudes. Played one who just did the behind-the-back-dribble in traffic with Giannis....literally moved defenders out of his way. CRAZY.

That's kind of what I said once Toni was out there knocking those down. And I thought it was because of MJ 99 fadeaway. Toni fade away is 72!

I think you guys agree. MJ fadeaway was dangerous. But it shouldn't once of these shots that don't miss.

Definitely agree though. Those long fader should take more energy or something lol. I almost took Dirk out for a run after watching that lol. Not even Kareem sky hook is that dangerous.

I'm actually ok with him shooting them all game....I think its lame, but there shouldn't be any mechanic where he's too tired to shoot them as long as he rests. My issue is the shot difficulty and the fact that the doubles hardly bother him. He just spins into them or holds the ball and never gets impeded....thats HORRIBLE.

But like you said, his move gets stopped? He QUITS...guaranteed. We've all seen guys like that....we know what quitters look like.

I bet thats why he plays with MJ....so technically no "better" player is gonna be on the floor. Many of us play for wins, but we also play for the experience....to use basketball strategy to win. I have zero issues losing a game where someone just out-played me. Hell, I live for a really good "basketball" game. This guy struggles in a more balanced setting where difficult shots aren't gonna go down just because its the GOAT.

We wanna beat guys because we're better than them--not because we found some loophole in the gameplay (i.e. him doing the same thing with Kukoc) I pride myself on giving guys different looks with Embiid. I'll abuse them down low and then start getting him the ball in the high post or go to turnaround jumpers on the block just to keep them off balance.

If guys are gonna stop Embiid they gotta earn it.

I don't know about that...the Bucks' Kareem's sky hook is almost like a guaranteed two points for me . Not as dangerous as that Jordan fadeaway though.

I love this video. It's exactly what I was talking about. And hitting face up jumpers. We couldn't do this before. That's exactly how I play with Joel myself. Love that video to bits lol.

Ok Agree... I'm don't miss when I use him either lol. But God if I got double-teamed. I'd pass the ball lol

Now that I can agree with. People like that don't know how to lose. Or try to learn from the experience. The user that can try to make a come back after being down by 20. Is the user I want to face. I'll even friend you after the match.

I was just talking about classic teams. But check out my opponent's hilarious reaction to facing the 1998 Jazz lol (Volume on if you can)

Gotta say, I am really sick of fools dropping me by double digits while taking poor shots and getting them to drop or by playing poor defense and getting away with it just as a result of their playing according to the meta this year. I'd love to lose a game because the guy was actually better than me but it's so, so rare it feels like. I'm not saying that I'm anything special, mind you, I am saying that dumb basketball beats smart basketball a lot in this game.

I can't 100% agree with that. Besides my post about MJ and the unstoppable fader. For the most part this year. When I lose. It's because I played stupid. When I won it's because I played smart. I had a few guys try things over and over again. But once I figured it out. It was a wrap or I didn't figure out in time.

That MJ game was the first time in a few years where I felt I couldn't do anything to stop an opponent. That early play when he hit a fader with 4 guys around him.

Yeah I think my Achilles heel is just being stubborn. It really does feel like I get matched with just this litany of average to below average players who are just spamming Curry or literally avoiding playing on-ball at all costs cause they couldn't hack it otherwise. Usually, I do have the tendency to just get ticked that this idiot is winning rather than actually thinking through my adjustments. But sometimes there's just nothing you can do. Played a guy the other day who had the Warriors and played a zone the entire first half. I got TONS of open looks, 38%. He's chucking up early shot clock junk with whoever he can, 62%... Like... Bro. To me, those are the worst games to have. I have plenty of games why I work for open shots and clean looks, but I'm shooting some measly percentage blow 43%. On the other hand, my opponent is jacking mostly ill-advised shots, and he's shooting a better percentage while grabbing offensive rebounds and getting fouls.

I wish this was a hard/fast rule but it's not.

In the last two iterations we've had one version of the game where anyone could dribble penetrate and another where you could spam steal at will and yield mostly good results. Neither of those games punished block spam or had a balanced doubled team.

The basketball aspects of 2K have improved by leaps and bounds. There is still alot of progress to be made reducing the more "cheesy" aspects of the NBA 2K. BOTH THINGS CAN BE TRUE.
