Westbrook to the Rockets. PNO in NBA 2K20 is going to be so much fun next season. I can't wait! NBA 2K is always a yearly buy for me, but this is going to be the first time that I'm genuinely excited due to all the offseason movements. HOPEFULLY, they'll go back to the NBA 2K18 format of allowing us ALL teams (All-Time, Classic, Regular) from the start.

I'd like to mix both 18 and 19 together. Have you level by playing with any team from that tier. Because leveling up is always slow for me. I love playing with clasic teams and just mixing it up. Right now I'm College level. And I'm really happy I've unlocked all the classic teams. I don't care for All-Time teams and I really don't care for Hall of Fame level opponents.

I still wanna know how these meetings between the 2k developers went down when creating this tier system.. they needa be drug tested man, they really agreed upon putting the all time pelicans and current pelicans in the same tier.... 0 logic

Yeah, I'm gonna need 2K18's regular Broadcast Zoom camera back. That was the GOAT Broadcast camera.

They changed it in 19 and combined it with the Broadcast Stadium so each arena has a different angle, which kind of sucks. I just want the 2K18 Broadcast Zoom where every arena has the same angle.

I think tiers can stay but we should have a "play any team" queue in 2K20. It provides better variety and a bigger challenge for people who want it. I loved playing vs higher rated teams when Philly sucked.

Lets not forget why tiers were necessary tho. In 2K15/2K16, Cheesers would get MIA/OKC/CLE and match up with bad teams with no real shot at victory. Lets not subject users to that kind of disparity unless they're up for it.

Lets not forget why tiers were necessary tho. In 2K15/2K16, Cheesers would get MIA/OKC/CLE and match up with bad teams with no real shot at victory. Lets not subject users to that kind of disparity unless they're up for it.

I don’t mind the tiers. Especially this year more than any other year because I felt like I was at a a bigger disadvantage when using lesser teams vs good teams. I noticed better rated players just made more BS ashore than years past. With the 3 ball being as easy as it was this year, it really felt like 2k purposely dumbed down the game to appeal to a wider audience. When playing the Blazers I really need a defense stopper on my team. Or Philly I need size. Etc etc. years’ past I could get by just with skill.

I did like the bonus win of years’ past though if I was using a T3 team vs a T2 or T1. I’d rank up to about NBA just collecting bonus wins against the nooby users.

No question the bonus wins were really good. I've always thought re: Online Ranking you give players 1pt for a win with the top-rated team and 30pts for a win with the worst. Its a great way to urge players to not just use GS.

Yeah, I definitely didn't mind the tier system, otherwise I probably would be dashboarding GSW most times than not. Before the tier system, I either kept dashboarding until I got any matchup outside of the popular teams at the time, or I would stubbornly accept the challenge then it would be a straight-up cheesefest.

They did have a "Play any team" queue before NBA 2K19, but they never gotten it to work .

I've been playing NBA Live, because they updated the roster with the latest offseason moves. They're game is really simple from a control standpoint, although I REALLY hate having to hold down the bumper button to use icon passing/switching. Anywho...what's people's opinions on the OTF changes? I kinda like double tapping on the D-Pad to make quick changes.

In reality, you are not half as good as you think you are and feel the need to make up a BS excuse like the games being "scripted" to make yourself feel better about being the loser that you are. 2k isn't important enough to lie about, bud. I hope someday you realize that you will never get better if you constantly blame your weaknesses on something outside of yourself.

I am 369-151 (71% win) and im 155-44 this month (77.9% win). I feel very strongly that this game is scripted having played many games in a short period of time I am starting to see patterns. A few plays that happen to a team when they are winning by 10+ in the first quarter:

1)Illegal screens - These really only happen in the 1st and 4th quarter I have noticed and they are usually after something unfortunate happened for the opposing team.

2) And 1 plays - I would say about 95% of the time these happen when the opposing team is on a run, the other team will get an And 1 play. Of course certain players get more, but if a random player gets an And 1, its usually scripted. Also, the free throw after that And 1 is much less likely to go in, just what ive noticed.

3)The winning team will start to miss open or lightly contested lay ups while the other team is making heavy or smothered lay ups.

4)My CPU will move differently sometimes when I call a play on offense. This can sometimes be for the entire 1st half, and then all of the sudden he will start moving normal in the 2nd half.

5) This one is probably the least likely but ill throw it in here. If I am on a 6 game win streak, the 7th game I seem to always start off poorly UNLESS I green my first 2-3 shots. I know Jerry West's shot very well, and I know what kind of full whites usually go in when wide open. I pretty much only miss these types of shots in the 7th game after my 6 game streak.


Here is the thing. I am Pretty sure this game is scripted and you will see people on here who say "well why do some people have 90%+ win?" It's simply because they do not get tilted when things dont go their way. They continue to play their game and end up beating someone despite the game putting them at a disadvantage.

Moral of the story is, unless we can sue 2k by getting an ex-developer of theres to confirm it is scripted (i'm not a lawyer but i think it would be very difficult), we have to work with what we've got. In a way, everybody is on a somewhat equal playing field overall. of course the worst players in the game will get the most advcantage and the best will get the least, but most of the people in the middle will have just a good of chance to win. The only thing we can control is how we play regardless of what the gameplay is scripting.

What the f*ck is the point of the damn settings if the game continues on like you didn't make a SINGLE change??????

If make a change to crash the damn boards after my opponent have snatched down more offensive boards than I got TOTAL rebounds then why the hell is my center and PF no where to be found after a shot goes up????

I'm busting my *** to contain the ball handler and force them into a bad shot, and I'm STILL giving up boards. If it's not that, then damn ball magnetly goes to a player who has NO BUSINESS getting the rebound aka ball was rolling off the rim before I "changed" the setting, but now it's coming out long to the SG and PG IF my players happen to crash the boards.

I swear...there are some games where I'm f*cking destined to get killed on the boards. I got Hibbert and West against Howard and Portis, and I'm losing the rebounding battle 5 to 17 and down 14 points DESPITE shooting 55% to his 48%.
