Aargh! Time to buy a new controller. I see why people get so angry at this game at times. The random crap that happens were meant to induce instant rage. I don't care if you're a sim or arcade player. This game will piss you off at times to a level where you feel like you're having an out of body experience.

I was down 14 points going into the 4th quarter due to some stupid unforced turnovers and my AI fouling too much which gave my opponent too much time with the ball due to the shot clock bug.

On the final possession, and I'm down by two after busting my butt to come back. Bojan Bogdanovic comes off a beautiful screen near the wing and hits a game winning 3...

BUT...the game called an illegal screen on HIM! Made me completely forget that I was a grown *** man. Controller broke, and I'm probably going to get a noise complaint from the office, because I know my neighbors called the police due to the commotion.

Well ksuttonjr76, just wait until Black Friday to pick up 2-3 controllers so you got multiple backups so in case you get into another raging moment!

Yeah. I'm definitely doing that. I might even buy the elite controller, so I'll think twice next time, lol. Nothing worse to be in the middle of a celebration, then to realize you've just been cheated in the very same instance.

I saw the shot go in before I noticed the pop-up for the foul. I literally jumped off my couch to do the MJ fist pump while my eyes were reading the foul. Going from happy to angry in a split second has to be a record for me, lol. Probably the loudest I ever screamed "What! Really! That's some BS!" too, lol.

Well well I had the ISP come look at my setup and it seems I don't even have a router that supports VDSL which is the tech they use. Thanks for telling me guys!

Go figure how 2K18 doesn't lag...

If this game still lags with the new router I'm gonna quit online. I'm going backwards with all this lag. I'm down to JV now...onwards to Freshman!

Have you tested the game yet? I'm in the same boat as you with the lag situation.

75mbps Verizon fios wired connection, xbox one x, game mode turned on, open nat, no background downloads or traffic and still lag.

People must think i suck or that they're really good because i struggle every game. I can hardly get around anyone, passes are slow, shooting is slow, trying to go up under the rim is slow.. i can't win smh.

People must think i suck or that they're really good because i struggle every game. I can hardly get around anyone, passes are slow, shooting is slow, trying to go up under the rim is slow.. i can't win smh.

I had no problem launch then had occasional lag, now it's every game no matter what. Some games start out fine then everything goes to ****.

Are y’all still experiencing the wrong uniform bug? It’s frustrating for me because I enjoy the freedom and variety of the different jerseys in the NBA. Hopefully you guys create some more tickets to 2K support

Yep my game play experience exactly. Couldn't make an open shot or layup to save my life because the D just swarms me in an instant as I'm late to the pass.

- Try a fixed IP address from your router not dynamic, who knows may work.
- Use Google DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
- Change ISP.

Did you complain to your ISP? Pretty much only 2K19 is bad for me but I just told them it's slow for everything and whadda you know I got an incompatible router.

Years ago at another house my net was slow for everything and I spent hours on trying to fix it myself and on the phone with support. They even came to investigate and still slow after that. Finally I called them and said I was sick of this **** and the call centre guy said he would try something on his end. He flipped a switch and all of a sudden I had fast net....FFS. They can push a few config buttons on their end so don't believe their BS maybe they capped me by accident or something.


Last option is just move house! lol I'm semi serious on that. If you got buddies you can test your xbox on then try their connection. See how it goes.

When doing house inspections take your xbox with you and ask the agent for a few moments of private time lol

I actually just changed back to fios dns for NJ from Google's. I had a static ip address for my xbox 1 x and still should unless it was reset somehow.

I haven't contacted Verizon yet because i still think it's on 2K side or my One X is overheating or something.

I'm gonna do some tests with my laptop to check if there's lag spikes or packet loss even though my Xbox says there isn't any.

Finally hopped on this game today for the first time since late September lol. Got bombarded with midterm exams and studying so I had no time for 2K. Didn’t get to play an actual game but just browsed around the menus for a but.

Had to DL a 6 GB patch. Have any major gameplay changes been put in? Shooting, stealing, movement etc.?

This button input delay needs to get fixed. Idk how many wide open looks ive had where im holding square and my player isnt shooting
