Thanks. I know he's become decent from 3, but he's still not that consistent. It's been the norm for decent shooters to be great in 2K19.

This has been Happening forever. They just take their time with star players.

Bench player or non superstar starter.....out immediately.

Kobe goes out, it takes two weeks.

And by the time they get around to it the injury timeframe is half way through.

It's really time to change that...the main defensive strategy is to defend the 3 no matter who's on the court. I run into some people who play a complete game, but it's mainly 4-1PnR offense. Honestly, this and inside scoring seems to be the loudest complaint across all modes, and it's a complaint that can be easily addressed by slider adjustments.

At this point, 2K Sports have CLEARLY made an executive decision not to change it. Reason unknown. I understood waiting it out to see if people adjust, but now it seems like it's getting worse due to people getting BETTER at shooting the contested 3's while the inside game is still lacking.

It's honestly confusing, the shooting is so overpowered while people blow layups even after pump fakes. It seems the game is tuned in a way that a interior defender just needs to be near you to affect the shot, even if he's basically beaten or pump faked out his shoes, but on the outside you absolutely have to have a hand up to affect a shooter and it has to be before they start shooting.

The game is getting killed on Reddit now for the exact same reasons, and they do nothing about it. There's two different threads open with 100+ comments on the 3 point shooting. Also, notice Beluba hasn't posted in here since the game came out, seems like he doesn't want to answer questions about that tweet about shooting being harder when the prelude was out and people noticed how easy it was to shoot.

I mentioned it another thread. If the perimeter defense was the same as the interior defense, the people who use screens and 3PT shots as their main (and sometimes only) offense would try to bring the Purge to Take Two HQ.

I hate to say it and I actually like plus respect Mike Wang, but he pulled a Osama bin Laden on us. America needs to send a Special Ops team to find him.

Have any of just tried switching everything when playing on defense? I havent been at all as I have been fortunate enough not to run into the expert 3pt cheesers.

But there was a play at the 5:45 mark of the video where I just switched my big out onto Steph when my opponent called for a screen and he ended up turning the ball over. He didnt call another on ball screen after that I dont think. Lol

So I was wondering if any of you have tried that as a way to thwart screen and three cheese. [emoji848]

I'm loving the win requirement for different tiers since I always play with different teams, and the fact that you can play people outside of your league and team tier, but the opponent pool is really shakey for me right now.

I'm 14-1 and I've only come across 1 or 2 decent opponents, EVERYONE is still drive pass pump fake drive pass pump fake, pressure for inbound steal, spam steal 100% in every situation, and when that doesn't work go to 2-3 zone for me to hit wide open 3s.

This is by far the best online gameplay I've experienced in 2K though, I may have to find an online league for some good sim comp.

Finally unlocked Tier 2 Historic teams and didn't even know. The game should definitely tell you that you can do that, and notify you when you do.

I love Tier 2 and have so many new teams to try out until I unlock my '02 Kings. My weekend is set haha.

This game really likes to do some bs. Like it flips what team will shoot a higher %. I'm up in a Wizards vs Pistons game 35 to 16. Then all of a sudden 3rd quarter my shooting dips to 25% from 70% and my opponents is up to 40. 4rth quarters this guy shoots 90% and my team with fresh players is now sluggish and guy who couldn't do crap gets an open lane every possession for easy dunks.

Playing against the Bucks just isn't worth it. Almost lost to a trash player that just spammed the paint non-stop until he got a slither of space and jammed square every time for Giannis to take off from anywhere inside the 3pt line.

I could understand if you got more contested layups, and made them if you have some skill, but he gets completely different animations from places all over the court that result in uncontested layups as though he actually blew by me, when he really just got to an imaginary launchpad that flings him through my body to the rim.
