Upset to see my favorite mode ruined.

Did we really need to go that extreme on the pause limitations? 5 pauses the entire game???

I’m just confused was stoping the pause spammers that serious? How am I supposed to make consistent subsitutions on the in game menu when so many players in 2k’s rosters are at the wrong position, what if I want to put McConell in the game for Saric to go small and shift Simmons to 2 Fultz to 3 RoCo to 4?

I had a lot of fun last year replicating all the small ball lineups teams were using last year, this takes away all of my customizability for this mode.

On top of that you’re gonna make it so if we forget we didn’t have any pauses left instead of just not letting you pause we just straight lose the game?

I feel this was so unnecessary

Dudes used hit with Nene on me in 18 as well because they whip the ball around unconsiously and shoot 3s cus all other Rockets can hit them. Sometimes you would see them hesitate then take the shot anyway lol. Dam cheesers.

If you're open shoot, the game was designed and tuned in such an idiotic manner that anyone defined as open from three can hit regardless of ratings. I can hit consistently with the 2012-2013 versions of Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol, their ratings are under 50 from three, Marcs is a 32.

Just got buried by the Kings and Shumpert lit me up cus I kept leaving him open....

If you're open shoot, the game was designed and tuned in such an idiotic manner that anyone defined as open from three can hit regardless of ratings. I can hit consistently with the 2012-2013 versions of Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol, their ratings are under 50 from three, Marcs is a 32.

Yup......KAT just shot 5/7 from three on me just now. This needs to be addressed.......

Sorry Mintsa! But Kat is known to hit the 3. Nene isn’t he’s an old school back to the basket player. So for him to be at the 3pt line c’mon.

Kat rating for 3’s are .421 last year. They projected him to be at .409.

I used to hit 3s with Patterson at center against paint campers as they didn't realize he can shoot a bit. I could sense the shock as he hit them and they realized they couldn't paint camp with the center no more lol

Next time down I would fake a Patterson 3 as they try to lunge at me then go in for an easy layup lol To funny. Can't do that this year, people can lunge for the swat but then still be in your grill as they land so you can't even drive past easily.

Moving a shooter to center would be effective against some cheesers but not sure what you would give up on the defense end if he was a smaller size.

Kristaps Porzingis is the player you want, I used to destroy Warrior/Cavs users with him last year, people have no clue how to guard him, especially since he has difficult shots badge so if they play off ball defense you can spam post hop shots against the CPU. I made it to GOAT with the Knicks without even using the filter, I averaged atleast 33-35ppg with him, there was no defender in the game capable of stopping him, especially since he'd get lost in transition and could bomb deep threes and if you closed out on him it's a dunk Also most people would make the mistake of putting their center on him when the scoring got out of hand which meant Enes Kanter and his gold hustle rebounder would kill the PF.

I used him this year and he was even better, in tier 3 there was nobody to stop him, but since he's injured I'm guessing they pulled him out of the lineup since they updated rosters.

I feel you. Right, I'm trying to involve Myles Turner in the offense a lot more, so I can pull those campers out of the paint. Right now, I've been working hard on his turnaround fadeaway shot, since 90% of the time it registers as open. I've been staying mostly with the flow (great and constant off-ball movement) and flip-push (great for open 3PT shots) freelances. After watching the video (posted earlier) on catch-and-shoot situations, my FG% has been steady above 55%. The funny thing is that I'm running into opponents who can score at 60+% clip...doh!

Got two losses today from that stupid "attempting to restore your connection" timeout. So annoying.

I lost 3 games because of it. I’ll play offline for a while until they fix it.

Yes. It's the player control option. In the lobby, you're able to pick the position you want to play (first come, first serve), and choose from a list of players to use. The wins do count towards your required number of wins if you're looking to advance levels. I do believe you must meet a letter grade requirement too, so merely winning is not enough.

Got that also but even worse the game would just freeze 1-2 seconds sometimes mid play and then alll of sudden come back.

Never seen that before.

Once again I went back to 2k18 as that doesn't lag.
