For most, it's all about that W no matter what. Some people can't accept the fact that losing is part of competition.

If I may ask, what kind of tv (4K or 1080hd) and system (pro or regular) do you use?

Reason I ask is, you already know I was having the same problems you did with shooting. Seems like it was off. Seems like release point wasn’t at the top of shooters jumpers, just slightly earlier. I know for a fact release points was earlier then the top of jumper because I would release the button before the meter came together and still get late. Seems like the meter has a “momentum effect”. Meaning you have to release the button going into the top of the shot if that makes any sense.

Well I picked up a pro yesterday morning and shooting is night and day on the pro/non-pro 4. I havent shot below 60% on every game I have played online. The meter stops when I release it, and the timing on jumpers seem to be more normal.

I may be totally off, but it seems like the game was calibrated to be played on the pro. Seems like an issue you would run into while playing a game that wasn’t originally development for your system but sometime after release was ported over.

Yeah shooting is exactly how you say it is. I play on the One X and a Sony Bravia 4K TV in game mode with hdr on. Ive played with hdr off and it doesn't seem to be much different in terms of performance.

I have a Samsung and read about turning 'game mode' on which I did but hard to tell if it has made much of a diff yet as I've only played a few games since. It's supposed to improve input lag but I suspect my connection is still to **** for any improvement.

Some people have said try a PC monitor as that works better but that is what 'game mode' is meant to emulate on a TV. If I get desperate will try a FN monitor lol

I could never see myself playing on a monitor. Enjoy playing on a 4KTV too much [emoji3] .

Are any of you guys experiencing this bug? Where you select a certain jersey and when the game starts they’re not wearing those jerseys? I also make sure I select the jersey by hitting X but still doesn’t work. If y’all are experiencing this please create a ticket to 2K support so they can fix it.

All shooting forms has changed it’s no more top of the apex of players shot. Most are 1/4 before the apex. For example Jeff Teague shot is a set shot but not the traditional one. So once he shoots it’s almost his gather is his excellence release.

What kind of 4Ktv you got. Best way to make sure what kind of input lag you got is going to https://www.rtings.com

I’m planning on getting a 4Ktv this Black Friday but the Samsun nu7100 as that has 13.4 ms input. They say anything under 20ms is excellent.

In PNO, everytime I select a jersey of preference, it never gives me the jersey I choose. Definitely something that needs to be fixed.

Yeh for me it usually only works if I end the countdown on the jersey select screen and hit X/A to select the jersey with a few seconds left.

If you select the jersey and do anything else after that it seems like it can reset, definitely still a pain to pay attention to every game.

Do custom playbooks work this year?

In 2K17 you could set plays in MyLeague under User Playbooks and use them in Play Now. This didn't work in 2K18 for some reason.

Has anyone used custom playbooks yet?

They had me reinstall the game but it didn’t really fix it. On one of the comments below a dude said to make sure you set all your settings first and then change your jersey last with a few secs left. I may try that.

Yea I make sure I hit X/A too. But that’s interesting Ima try to do what you said and try to change my jersey as my last thing that I do.

I remember last year it was like that with playbooks. You’d have to select your jersey before you set your playbook because it was reset they playbook.

Custom playbooks don't seem to be working this year again. The changes you make to them don't save like it was in 2K17 so they don't work for PNO.

If anyone can figure out how to get changes to User playbooks to save let me know.

It's been hit and miss for me too, but I'm going to do what everyone is suggesting.
