so i have 2 perfect contests on giannis layups and literally smother him and he still makes it... i clear the whole ****ing court for kawhi in the low post with reddick and he misses it with perfect timing.. how is this **** not rigged? this is not lag. this is straight scripted gameplay. this isn't an anomaly either. this is a reoccurring pattern.

I’ve played the 92 (I think) Bulls twice in my last ten games and they’re terrible. Idk why ppl in the higher tiers pick them. I literally send doubles at Jordan all game. Pippen is an awful shooter so ppl are scared to run with him. I spotted this guy a 9pt lead (36-27) after the half and I still ended up up double digits by the time the 4th started before the quit came in. I was missing a lot of good looks meanwhile Jordan was scoring in transition on the break. Once the shots started to foul and they had to run a half court offense, it was over.

I’m in like a 7 game win streak with the Indy Pacers lol. After Dipo was added back to the roster, I lost a few but after tinkering with the lineups and matchups (Sabonis on Kanter when playing Portland) they’re incredibly tough to beat. Basically need to hope I miss good looks, which does happen when there isn’t a premier perimeter threat (Dipo is solid all around but not a guy who can get hot and score at will).

That strategy works everytime cus they only want to shoot with Jordan lol The rest of the team can't shoot 3s so they are much easier than modern teams.

Ocasionally you will see them try shoot with Paxson/Kerr as you double Jordan but they are so slow and easy to defend lol. Then you can torch those 2 on the offensive end.

Pretty much the entire Pacers team can shoot the 3 whether it's due to the individual ratings or easy release. Whenever I get an open 3, I just let it fly.

The Bulls are a good squad, but I'm amazed how many people can't win with them. Jordan is a scoring God especially if you run plays with them, and Pippen keeps the defense honest, so your opponent doesn't double team Jordan the entire game. I use the team with Ron Harper and Rodman though. I don't remember if that's the '92 Bulls off the top of head.

Yeah, certain players seem to be able to score on layups despite the smothered defense. Sometimes, you just have to play the odds and hope those shots (normally they do since people don't use timeouts) eventually stop falling.

Does KW even have a post game?

Nah, 2k’s inside game needs a rework. The inside game with taller players is OP this year. If you’re not using an Gold interior defender, the offense is favored most of the time inside IMO.

It’s why I run Myles Turner and Sabonis on the floor together and before Nurkic got hurt, him and Kanter were unstoppable. STR on back down is also really OP. When they do that little shove right under the hoop it’s a guaranteed two points. Meanwhile post moves like Up and Under, drop step, post spin, etc are all needed and easily countered. I had a 30pt game with DeAndre Jordan early in the season when he was still with the Mavs. Forgot who my opponent was but they had like a 75 C with so-so defense attributes. Stood no match for DeAndre and his soft touch lol.

Finally made the Hall of Fame. Took a month off and came back I couldn’t hang but I’ve made it back to where I was. Got my Win percentage up from 64% to 67%. Shooting for 70%. I’m kindve alarmed by the amount of times I’ve picked an all time team and my opponent doesn’t dashboard out with his regular team. Like, are they stoned out of their mind and just don’t a give damn? Do they genuinely believe they’re going to beat an all time team in one of the top tiers?

What's this new trend with leaving your starters in the whole game?

I noticed the trend happened last year too towards the end of the NBA season and after.

Try every cheat in the book, hunt me for me, fast break. Put Kawhii on point lol. Cmon...learn to play not cheat.

The other trick is 76ers put Boban at Centre and Embiid at PF which remove Redick from the lineup so now they have massive team. At least 3 different dudes have done this against me. The defensive is tough I must say.

I don't think 2K makes it easy for quick players to punish slow bigs like Boban on the permiter, he can recover to quickly and block/contest unless it's lag....

But the sub patterns of playing guys the whole game. I will never ever understand how it's possible. What makes it worst is the users who don't call timeout at all during a game. And get away doing that.

You know it's something 2k has a struggle within the last few years. When mismatch happens. It doesn't feel like a mismatch for the big men stuck covering a little guy. Basically. Blocks from behind are too easy and aren't foul prone like they should be--a guy gets beat and is essentially in perfect position to defend which is crazy. They also did away with the blocking fouls that were one of 2K17s best features. A perimeter mismatch would often result in a quick blocking foul--it was a great mechanic that made it obvious why trying to cover Steph with Boban was a bad idea and had immediate consequences for it.

Embiid is a great defender and moves his feet really well for a 7'2" guy but him stonewalling Harden? C'MON. [emoji849]

I've been seeing that. But that seems normal to me. Pick and roll is the number one thing after iso. I had a guy who put Kawhi at PG. I never adjusted.

I really wish we could do something about fatigue. It's shocking that players with Gatorade signs are able to knock down shots like the game hat started.

1st quarter cheesers out here. 5/5 from 3. Giannis 3/3 and whoever else you decide to throw it to after your fast break.

I played a Dubs guy where it was 20/18 after the 1st and Curry scored all 18. Even shot a 3 with Bogut...Cmon...anyone shooting 3s with Bogut should not be able to keep pace. Anyway after that I just focused on Curry on D and it was game over.

Fast breaks can't save you....

The meta this year is just so OP it’s become dull from a gameplay perspective. I really like this 2k better than 17 and 18 but they need to make it a tad bit less noob friendly. Idk how to do that exactly but a good start would be toning down the 3 slider a few notches and maybe the mid a notch too. Same for inside shot close. I know in years past it was annoying to miss shots when using a 7 footer matched against a smaller defender but it’s gone too far the other way this year. I think STR is too important and with inside being easy to manufacture space, it’s really really hard to play good post defense without always helping. The downside to doing this, the switch everything defense would be insanely OP too. I’d also like to see sharper rotations defensively.

To keep the game fresh for me I’ve gone to using all time teams a bit more. I love the All time Kong’s in tier 3. Tier 2 the Bucks have been my go to now. They really should be a tier 1 all time team because of Giannis but they’d be outmatched with BOS, LAL, GS, etc.
