Looks like your either trapping or in a half court press. There is no need to be. Or you are playing tight and all or in ball denying all. I forgot which type of defense is called.

I was just explaining how maybe after the 3rd time. You should of called timeout and changed the defensive settings specific on Shaq match up. Who was that? LMA?

What defense were you playing? Again seems like you were in a press. Or ball deny defense.

One tip for these situations is to turn into the guard and run back to the big until your big man recovers.

On defense i got stay home, play physical, crash boards man to man. On offense I have push the pace, limit transition. I dont change anything in the pause menu. I pick up on ball at halfcourt and apply ball pressure manually. my big man is already there, he just allows the offense to get in between him and the basket. nothing more i can do

I have to totally agree with the last paragraph. People give up WAY TOO EASILY. I got a great example below.

I finally unlocked the 2002 New Jersey Nets. I love playing with this team. I have a great rotation in place. All I need is 2 more players from that roster. Jason Collins and Lucius Harris to really completely the rotation lol.

So I'm playing this users who is playing with Portland Trailblazers. Everyone knows Dame Dollar is the hottest thing out there right now. I'm guessing this guy has never heard of Jason Kidd. But for the most part the clip below summary up the entire game. I was down by ten in the fourth and forced OT. Even though CJ McCullough got some shots. This guy tried to abuse Lillard. But Kidd locked up Lillard. But I threw in a trap to surprise him. I only ran it once before in the game. But it failed. He wasn't ready.

Got exited for a dude with 75% win %, was wondering if he was just a quitter, saw it was 85% on the next screen and knew it was.

I'm up 1 at the end of the 1st quarter!...he pauses and lets the timer run out.......4 times!... I just wanted a full game before I put the sticks down for the night. He finally came back after the 4th time, played a little more, then quit.

Going for a quit by letting the timer runs out is far worse than just quitting. Not only are they leaving a game they could learn from, they are wasting my time, and wasting their own time, as they could be playing another game instead of sitting in the pause screen hoping I let them off the hook.

It seems some people are so averse to taking a loss they can't even quit on their own. The mentality is interesting.

2k19 For me has been fun to play so far and is better than last year's & definitely 2k17. With 2k16 being the goat I spent a lot of time playing that. One thing I'm glad they did was make defense better this year. The steals are legit with those new animations. The "tier system" is better & sort of cool this year because it makes you use different teams. I was more of a 1 or 2 team guy before but with this it has allowed me to enjoy the depth of the game using all types of players learning what they do best with their signature skillset. I forget sometimes its just a game so I just enjoy playing and don't take losing so seriously. (34-34 .500 record) I mean people still cheese a lot like the usual
- Fastbeak marathon
- Full court passes to easy dunks/layups
- PNR all game long
- Drive to the hoop all game
-Offball all game ( At least switch up and play on-ball too)

I try to Have fun with it so to come cross similar people no matter what league level I'm in is aright with me. It's like some players afraid to even take a moving shot attempt, or try a floater, throw an alley hoop or take a fadeaway/hook shot & their offense looks ugly. I have played some skilled players and the challenge is humbling at times but fun. More players seem like they running plays including myself cause the Defense force you to find a way to create space which is not bad to see. Played as a classic team a few times I 'm feeling that also. 96 knicks, 08 Hornets, 94 Magic so far). Not many complaints not a bad game for me

The game is decent I must say but let's hope 2K20 has less lag. The past few months has been 100% lag every game on 2 different ISPs and technologies.

All games going down to wire against fast break, 3 point chucking, offballing, hunt for the human cheese.

I'm still above 80% win rate in over 120 games since having my PS hacked and having to start again. Granted I play in the lower leagues I don't bother to move up much. It's just to much work to play with lag and teams I'm unfamiliar with. 99 Knicks are fun tho. Love Sprewell/Houston combo.

With lag the opponents are nearly always on fire. Major glitch in this game...if it's going to be slow then make it the same speed for both players and don't let 1 player make shots easier than the other.

I miss easy layups because it thinks I'm holding the button to long...meanwhile Meyers Leonard and Kanter can hit 3s.

I lost the most absurd game to the Blazers with ridic shooting. Just kept laughing to myself. Lillard finally misses a 3 but wait the long rebound bounces right back to him at the 3 line...

The thing that's going to be make or break for me with 20 is offensive diversity. Will it be rewarded or will the same 1-5 PnR game be over-reliable like it has been this year. As long as plays and sets become the best, most reliable way to score, I'll be happy.

This far in the season and they still didnt fix the crooked results history in play now online?? Thats unacceptable

You win you get the loss in the results history list
The scores are always switched ..shouldn't be rhat hard to fix that annoying bug

Sounds like a typical Blazer game to me. Lillard hitting an ungodly amount of 3's (I'm almost convinced he's worse than Steph Curry), but when he FINALLY misses, Kanter is down in the paint snatching offensive boards left and right no matter how well you box him out. Even you do box him out, the ball magically comes out long to him. Just realized that I lost my five matches to the Blazers.

Lillard is insane on this game and idk why because his ratings are less than what he is IMO. He has 82 three but I smack em in like it’s 95 it’s nuts. Idk if it’s his release and I’ve used Portland my entire 2k life or what, but he doesn’t miss open shots.

On the other hand... McCollum with virtually the same three rating, plays like its 75. I almost hesitate to take threes with him because he always clanks them. Same with range shots with ET even though it’s high 80s. Like idk why I ever settle for jumpers with him because he’s a force inside.

I think I’m done trying to make the Heat a thing. Solid defensively but I can’t get buckets at all. Especially against other good users. Then once my guys are fatigued, the 5pt game becomes a 20pt blowout.

Also can 2k redo the tiers now that teams are getting their injured players back? The wizards are OP for tier 3 teams. And some of the low overall tier 2s would be fun to use in Tier 3 (Kings).

Yes he never misses when he's an opponent except when I play as them I don't know the release well enough + lag so he's not a threat.

Kanter is great down in the post. That's his game IRL.

Love Kanter. Him and Nurkic made such a deadly 1-2 punch. I think in the ten or so games I played with that duo, I went 10-0, with like two close games. Can’t go small cuz then Kanter is guaranteed 2pts and if you go big, my duo is likely better than yours and I’ll kill you with Lillard/McCollum. The only other team that rivals it is Indy with Turner/Sabonis. They’re not quite as good inside but they’ve got a ton of range.

I've been playing with the Nets. And everyone been playing with the Blazers. I'm sure these kids have never heard of Jason Kidd. Because he shuts down Lillard each time lol. And if you remember the Nets. I get a lot of run outs after a defensive stop. Lucius Harris is the only player I wish their would sign.
