Just my observations...

The last video we all have to just be smarter and exercise patience when bringing the ball up court. We all KNOW that 95% of the people we play will try to steal the ball from the rebounder. So instead of rushing to make an outlet pass, we should take our time to let them move the hell out of the way to allow a clear passing lane to open up. Either that or hold the circle button to bring someone to the ball for an easy handoff.

Scond video I can't speak on. Shot timing was off I guess. 🤷🏾*♂️

In your first video, he had a completely clear view of the basket. A defender jumping at a shooter does not constitute good defense. Crowding a shooter and disrupting a shooters vision and rhythm does. On that play, you weren't in front of him at all when he rose up to take that shot.

Totally agree with all that but the frustrating part is these aren't one off examples this type of thing happens all game. I do still think that was a light contest at least.

Guaranteed to keep the game close I won't be able to make wide open 3s and the opponent will jack up a crazy 3 that goes in because 2K is helping them.

this game is absolutely rigged to a point where every game is as close as it can be. thats just how it is no matter how 2k wanna slice it talking bout how theres a lot of factors that play a role in a game. this **** rigged. id rather have them say that theres no skillgap rather than lie about it

It's not just the offense BS. I'm actually convinced the AI D becomes better when you're up by 10 points or so. Not only do open 3s miss I'll get closed out much faster and swatted by the AI or some other BS. It's definitely not because the dude decided to try harder because he's just hiding in the corner...

I haven't screen captured the lag itself happening that much. But I will start doing that and post more videos. But here's an obvious one I have with me being the Sixers against the Raptors. I'm not dumb I get perfect signal the whole game with my wired connection. And the game just lags in specific points to give the other guy an advantage? Nah it's obvious when someone is using one. This is on Xbox One btw. The funniest thing is I message every person that uses one after the game with a witty reply and 90% don't respond back.

Got demoted from Varsity because of a lag switcher in my 10th game. I sweep JV. Now I'm back in varsity then get matched up with THREE guys in a row using lag switches and got sent back again.

Wow! That’s bad. First I would report that person to Microsoft even thou they won’t do anything. Then message 2k support about this? Ppl will do anything to win.

I feel you. When I notice my opponent see start going on one of those "runs" I just call timeout.

MOST of the time, it helps and stops the run. If they still have things going there way, I just call another timeout. Lol... usually, that gets things going back in my way.

On a side note...we gotta be prepared fellas...

If you just mash steal after you turnover or miss a shot it shows you have no idea what you are doing and it's rather childish to boot. It's like having a tantrum because you didn't get what you wanted.

But there's no downside to doing it so in effect 2k just encourages this bush league style.

Pressing steal needs to decrease stamina! That is the only solution here.

Holy **** did anyone notice the lag improvement last night. I got a few DC's and thought my net was being odd. It was like they were doing upgrades.

Next 10 games there was no lag and I won with ease. Smashed dubs about 5 times lol.

Either 2K did something or my ISP did. I'm having fun again!

That vid is actually pretty decent. He basically talks about being in good position and using good timing to steal the ball. The title is a little click baity, but the actual information is pretty legit and actually replicates real ball. It's not just run up and spam square. Plus it is counterable. He talks about shading to the ball side to grab the steal, all the offensive player needs to really do is switch position and protect ball. Or maybe simply switch hands and dribble the other way. A bad player will suffer from that good positioning. A good one will be able to counter it.

Another major problem... offensive rebounds and loose balls. Some dude just caught an offensive rebound with two hands behind his back without jumping. Every pass I deflect, somehow ends up in my opponents hands whether itll conviently fly in their direction, my players forget how to pick up a basketball, or my opponents speed gets boosted to 110 and they get the ball before any of my players could WHO ARE ****IN CLOSER. **** Ronnie and 2k man they bout the money not the culture

Ronnie isn't a dev or producer, he's the community manager. I feel you on everything you've been saying, that's why i try to stay away from this game as much as possible.

With the steals being so easy this year anyone rated highly for steals will make you drop the ball automatically by going near them. Leonard for example, if you just run past him he'll strip it without using his hands...it's magic force powers.

I actually just played a few games with Leornard and though he is a beast on D with steals, it's definitely not OP at all, and mostly controlled by user to user interactions, and just plain bad passes outside of that.

Though they are some annoying body steals, which hurt even more when holding LT to protect the ball, it's not the majority of steals I force or commit. Reach in steals aren't a big annoyance for me outside of not getting a foul when my opponent does it all the time and it interrupts my offense, but I usually end that with an easy behind the back and they either learn to stop or lose in the 4th when I really start paying attention.

Passes getting stolen feel fine to me, and I'm actually more annoyed when they don't get stolen than when they do. Those annoying @ss drive pass drive pass passes around the rim just to get one big man paying attention to another so you can get a sneak pass behind him is by far the most annoying thing left gameplay wise for me. When I throw a pass that gets picked I'm usually more mad at myself for passing it, or the cpu for not cutting where I thought they would, but that's on me.

So far steals allow me to stop terrible offense and brain dead gameplay, makes defense fun, challenging, and risk reward, so I like the way it is right now in PNO.

What’s going on with PNO? All of a sudden my players are fully DRAINED of energy after a couple plays when I’m not even pressing R2.
