So what were the guidelines on the new choosing a jersey selection?

It’s changing color matchups that have nothing wrong with them.

I was T-wolves at home picked the throwback black jersey. Other guy was raptors and picked the red current jersey.
Nothing wrong with red vs black. Not according to 2k, it switched my jersey to a white one. Just annoying tbh.

Give us the responsibility of selecting acceptable jersey colors

The missing players on a lot of the historic teams make a lot of the seemingly better ones unplayable. It's ridiculous that I'm playing with the classic Spurs and I have Brent Barry and 4 John Browns on the court half of the game.

I love playing with the Raptors because they have a great bench, I can't play with a team that has 1 or 2 competent bench players in Tier 1. At least 30% of the game I can't run a simple offense and my players lose the ball, allow the offense to do whatever they want, and stare at rebounds as they bounce in front of them.

It's even worse when the John Browns are 66 overall on Historic Tier 1 teams, but at 70 overall on regular teams.

Agreed. At the very least, the generics should have attributes, height and weight similar to those players who are missing from teams.

Read my suggestions a few posts back.

I have no idea why but all of a sudden I now have very little or no lag and can actually compete now. Not sure if it was a 2K thing or my ISP. I'm blowing cheese ballers out the water.

Seems like 9 out 10 cheesers just fast break and jack 3s. Limit transition and No threes just destroys them. Fast break still gets through on occasion....

Just beat Celtics by 20 after he was winning with cheese in the 1st. Probably thought he had it won. I flashed paused him near the end because I was so sick of his BS. He got pissed and kept calling TOs with 3 seconds remaining. Then somehow he managed to give me a "Network error" so the game crashed and didn't get the W but no L either. The amount of cheating and BS people will stoop to win...

Also, this “scripted, keep scores close” gameplay really has to go.

It’s been around from like 2k16 and it’s time to go. Let the players play and the better man win, not this nonsense. It basically makes the game unenjoyable. If you win, lose, blow outs, nail bitters. All of those experiences suck, they are not fun.

Make the game fun again.

Just got beat by some dude who launched 48 3s lol. Lillard shot about 30 of them. I had No Threes on and Smother.

I think he made around 30% but I had lag again so I simply couldn't score and lost.

Would've been game over in the 1st if I didn't have lag.

Yup, even if they can't because that would be too close to replicating the real player legally, they can at least put 1 or 2 75's on Tier 1 Historic teams instead of having them filled with 5+ useless 66 overalls who dribble, pass, or shoot worse than DLeaguers. I feel like I'm playing one of the kiddie half time games at MSG when they are all on the court and I'm using one of the higher rated Historic teams in the game, it makes no sense.

There is no reason for the John Browns on Tier 1 Historic teams to be 66 overall, but regular John Browns to be 70 overall. Right now I don't see any reason to use most of the Tier 1 Historic teams because they have absolutely no bench.

The Historic teams unlocks also make no sense with the way the new system is. If I unlock Tier 1 Historic teams they should ALL be competitive. I shouldn't unlock a 93 overall team in Tier 3 (Bucks) that dominates the entire Tier, but grind to unlock Tier 1 teams that are no better than the current Raptors that won me all the games to get there.

I shouldn't be using good teams to unlock worse teams. Whats the point of grinding to unlock teams if you can't use any of them?

It is fun for the hordes of cheesers who fast break and shoot 3s all game then rage quit when it doesn't work haha.

Unfortunately by catering to the cheesers it doesn't force anyone to up their game. This seems to be the decision they have made...make the game easy for all.

Btw IRL I saw Hassan Whiteside and Alex Len hitting 3s. Maybe 2K is onto something here haha

My god i got a wide open kyle kuzma open for a three, and a stupid ai teammate stands right next time him and drags his defender over with him.
Then i got ai players on defense reaching or unnecessarily helping to leave a shooter wide open. Its the ****in ai that ruins this **** every year. If they fix just the ai alone, a majority of all the problems would be fixed but no its the same **** every ****in year 2k
