The lag switch use in this game is out of control seems like once I got past junior varsity it’s a lag switch every 1 out of 3 games

shot 8/31 from 3 with the raptors while my opponent using the lakers shoot 8/13 from 3 lol. Not to mention i went 6-20 taking wide open 3s with lowry and kawhi while hes shooting lightly contested 3s with lebron and kcp who been suckin *** from deep this season.. what a joke

Those defensive changes made a WORLD of difference man.

I need to try out that send middle setting for the baseline cheese. I haven't seen it that much yet, people are still trying to zig-zag.

You know the funny thing about this when playing online and you get that offence /defence score card. That is so bogus as the information is so inaccurate. I’ll see a player scorecard telling me he plays on ball defence 81%. But in reality he’s off ball 81% of the time. Why does 2k put out false meta data when we all know you gathering information just put the info correct!!!!

They also used to show two wildly different win percentages last year. Those seem to be accurate this year, but I wish you could always see it even if your opponent skips it.

They used to have the old VIP system that tracked EVERYTHING, and you could load it as a ghost and play against a specific human playstyle. It was ridiculously accurate.

Does anyone honestly think 2K19 is a much better game than 18?

I don't.

This is the least I've ever wanted to play an NBA 2K game. I'm even thinking about giving Live a second chance. Everything about the game just turns me off, from the player movement, especially dribbling, to the mechanics.

This is by far the most fun I've had with 2K in a long time, and I haven't really played MyLeague yet which is my main mode.

The foolishness in gameplay that annoyed me beyond measure, especially in online games, is lessened or eliminated in a lot of areas, there is much less annoying cheese, defense matters, and I definitely feel a skill gap right now.

I'm mainly a gameplay dude, so I have to enjoy it when it's actually improved.

Sounds like my experience. I only shoot wide open shots but can't make many.

Meanwhile the other fool is shooting a ridiculous 3 that would get you benched IRL and it goes in.

Usually this happens when they are down a few points and feel I am about to takeover then they get desparate and either:

1. Jack up a crazy 3 and 2K will help them go in guaranteed to keep the game close.

2. Push hard towards the basket for a fast break and with Giannis it works even though I have limit transition on my players are not getting back like idiots unless I get back myself. If I forgrt and don't react in time it's an easy bucket.

Lost a few games to the Bucks just like that last night. I kept going up a few points then he would do some desparado **** and get back in the game. Then in the final 2 minutes it's anyone's game but they will pull of some ridiculous **** again and win. Here's me running plays and stuff but nobody gets open. Meanwhile this fool has Gatorade signs on all his players cus he never subbed out Giannis but they can still pull out a win.

Fatigue has no affect on 3s or anything else for that matter.

Ok I jinxed myself. Just lost to a guy in OT who did nothing but spam baseline cheese. It's like they removed blowbys everywhere else, but the baseline remains easy buckets and its been that way for years.

I put my defenders on medium d and send middle and they wouldn't do it. They always crowded their man and gave up first step baseline although that's exactly what I'm telling them not to do. I can't control the first step reaction of all 5 players so it's pretty annoying to play against. There is definitely something going on there.

Yes defense matters now but they have given a boost to off ball cheesers. I bet when they are testing the game they don't have players standing in the corners on D.

So they are totally oblivious to what actually goes on.

One of my last games I played against someone trying to spam the baseline. It worked in the beginning.

But then I went into the the settings and changed it to send middle. That shut that completely down. I had Redick able to stifle All Time Wade and force him middle.

But I was controlling the defender. I'm not sure what happens with the ai if you leave them to their own devices.

I'm pretty much ready to give up on this year. I can't get out of JV because of dudes with absolutely no technique just pushing forward with Giannis "Jordan". Why are they in tier 2 with a player like him??? This year is a first for me usually I'm in GOAT by now. I keep loosing to the Bucks with Wiz.

Once again I go up 12-2 thinking here's an easy game but wait....I'm not allowed to score anymore. Beal wide open 3 off a play miss....Morris wide open 3 miss... Next thing you know this guy is back in the game and proceeds to win with Giannis cheese.

Just my observations...

The last video we all have to just be smarter and exercise patience when bringing the ball up court. We all KNOW that 95% of the people we play will try to steal the ball from the rebounder. So instead of rushing to make an outlet pass, we should take our time to let them move the hell out of the way to allow a clear passing lane to open up. Either that or hold the circle button to bring someone to the ball for an easy handoff.

Scond video I can't speak on. Shot timing was off I guess. 🤷🏾*♂️

In your first video, he had a completely clear view of the basket. A defender jumping at a shooter does not constitute good defense. Crowding a shooter and disrupting a shooters vision and rhythm does. On that play, you weren't in front of him at all when he rose up to take that shot.

I haven't screen captured the lag itself happening that much. But I will start doing that and post more videos. But here's an obvious one I have with me being the Sixers against the Raptors. I'm not dumb I get perfect signal the whole game with my wired connection. And the game just lags in specific points to give the other guy an advantage? Nah it's obvious when someone is using one. This is on Xbox One btw. The funniest thing is I message every person that uses one after the game with a witty reply and 90% don't respond back.

WTF...I have never seen that before. That's wild. Before I switched it to direct connection, it would just slow down in spots, or I would get the "awaiting connection" message.

this game is absolutely rigged to a point where every game is as close as it can be. thats just how it is no matter how 2k wanna slice it talking bout how theres a lot of factors that play a role in a game. this **** rigged. id rather have them say that theres no skillgap rather than lie about it
