I'm a huge fan of the historic teams, but them being barebones rosters with nothing but John Browns has come to annoy me beyond belief, and makes PNO borderline unplayable because of how much I'm reminded of it every game.

Potentially my favorite team, the '07-'08 Hornets, is a starting 5 with literally all 66 rated John Browns on the bench. That is unplayable. I sh@t my pants after the cpu made subs when I looked up and saw a screen of generic trashbags in headbands. I had to play my starters the entire game.

Most historic teams arn't this bad with the missing players, but many of the good ones are hindered in comparison to their current day counterparts, and many of the lower rated historic teams like '07 Hornets become unplayable since its impossible to do anything with an entire team of 66 rated randomly generated players.

Gimme Rasheed Wallace on the '03 Pistons, 3 bench players on the '07 Hornets, or an extra player or two on the '01 Kings and I'll be straight.

Played one of your fellow INDY brethren online tonight. He was pretty good too--you could tell he usually did work with Turner and Oladipo (Evans stated at the 2) but he got outta his gameplan tryna go at me with Bogdanovic. I'm in my element chasing shooters, he couldn't have known that tho. Its funny because he ended up putting BB at the 4 to get away from me after it was obvious I wasnt a fish. You guys are deep tho....I gave him props for sticking to his guns.

Lol. Yeah, the Pacers are a pretty deep squad which is why I'm not that broken up over Victor. They're a true "Next man up" team. I just lose a closer in late game situations, and someone to play the lanes when I'm playing on-ball. Evans is taller and with the new shot contest, I might not really be losing that much on defense.

I'm about to play them again because I can't get a game in. They keep coming up.

I played them last night for the hell of it with the Classic Pacers team. I can't do it. The team just don't make enough mistakes to capitalize on (as Kush has shown many times regarding 50/50 balls), then they're so damn potent from 3PT land that it's hard to keep up with the number of made 3's. Throw in Cousins to clean up missed shots and protect the paint, and you're basically BBQ chicken. I was going back and forth with my opponent until late 3rd quarter, then Klay starting killing me with a barrage of 3's.

Against the GSW, you're pretty much have to use a All-Time team against them or a stacked Classic team.

I only played against the gsw once and that was last year in the beginning. Can’t be bother with it as if or when you try to switch there’s always a delay on switching. The rating for each player is 2nd fiddle to gsw rating of 99.

Those are silly, blanket statements and those are never, ever right. First it was "You do that because the defense is better now." NOPE...played like this since they added catch/shoot. Then it was "Its cheap" when its plain OVERHELP is a legacy issue and OB defense mitigates that. Next it was "Oh you're bad at defense" NOPE. then it was "Do you switch off"? *sigh*...no, FV". Then it was "Defend it yourself bro" Ummm....I do. What's next?

I get that you don't like off-ball defense but at some point you kinda have to get over it. IMO just don't play people who do that. *shrugs*

When I played Madden I didnt have a style where I went for it on 4th down in the 1st qtr or other risky situations. Some people do--I cant suggest they can't do that or they aren't a good player because of it. Thats imposing your play-style on others...not only is it LAME, with no style variety the experience would get boring really quick.

Its really not that hard--there are different play-styles and no one is obligated to play the way you do or abide by the rules you have in your lil head. Courtesy? Sportsmanship? [emoji23] I show it to my opponents on the regular (see the IND game) Everyone talks a little trash...lol I get that some big mean man online hurt your lil feelings, but it wasn't me.

You obviously didnt watch the IND vid....I get pushed plenty. I just push back.

I don't care about people who talk trash because I can easily mute them. Most trash talkers and pause spammers end up quitting, losing or just barley get by.

I don't think you put in the work on defense, but want everything to work against the other player.

Good on ball defense and defensive AI settings should be the key to winning not standing around...that's all I'm saying.

Exactly. Their offensive ratings, badges, and hot spots just overpowers most defensive oriented teams. HOWEVER, the GSW can play defense too and have long players. Cousins just gives the team a bully in the paint. Even in my game, I was playing near perfection and still couldn't pull off the win.

I can't take this convo seriously....some guy stung your "wittle" feelings online and now its my fault lol. anyhoo, back to basketball.

Best guy i've seen online all year. OAN: Utah might be the hidden gem in this game. They've got a star, rim protection a bench and shooters. Korver is definitely a weapon. I've got no issue saying this guy was a much better stick skill guy than me--one of the best on the shot meter i've seen, pulled from ANYWHERE. I was pretty sure his overconfidence was gonna get the best of him late if I kept it close tho. Sure enough Mitchell (twice) and Korver miss late and he chokes on a FT.

He also used his starters the entire 3rd for that 3pt lead. My guys were fresh to start the 4th. Score one for fatigue.

I only want 2 things next year......

1) the ability to use my team/whatever team I want to play with and advance

2) please separate these damn alltime and classic teams.
Alltime teams = tier 1
Classic teams = tier 2
NBA 1-10 = tier 3
NBA 11-20 = tier 4
NBA 21-32 = tier 5


That’s it, I’ll be happy.

The amount of dashboarding by either me or my opponent has been ridiculous. And all of those stupid games using weird teams that I didn’t want to use. What a colossal waste of time 2k19 has been.

Nah...but the fact that they brought him back when he hasn't played yet and yanked Oladipo "day of" doesn't sit well with me. I know he probly drives online usage but c'mon....BE CONSISTENT.

I need to hurry up and get my winning percentages above 65% before these bums figure out a new exploit, lol. I've been demolishing my opponents, and playing on-ball defense has become VERY satisfying of late.
