The two things are based in the same system--the same ability to rip over-dribbling empowers spamming steal after a rebound/turnover. Even worse, there are so many benign outcomes combined with 5 min quarters they rarely have to worry about foul trouble.

I just hope they're able to keep the tangibility of the ball for the over dribbling while dialing back the tangibility of the ball before a live dribble.

I mean there would be some people complaining bc that would inevitably increase morphing, but would also increase balance

First that why after every rebound I’m still holding on to L2 button to avoid that cheese tactics. 2nd omg what’s with the same colour jersey. 20th edition and still can’t get that right!!!!

Ok played dubs for the first time after 30 games.

To start the game: DC 3, Green 3, Green offensive rebound put back. FFS forget the other 3 offensive power houses....

Anyway I wanted to stick with it but got a disconnect. Strangley my ps is not disconnected? It's like 2k is dc my ps? wtf

Nobody in those leagues bud.

Less players, less games, longer waiting times.

No sense in rushing thru the ranks. My long time strategy of a “one win per night” works out perfectly. It gives time for the higher ranks to fill up and get more players.

This makes no sense though. I wasn’t really in a rush to get through the ranks. I just play a lot. I love 2K but this is a huge L for me. I don’t even really care about rankings I just want to play and the game isn’t even letting me do that.

Played a game at my brother in laws, Knicks vs 71 Lakers, Kristaps made everyone on the Lakers his son, blew them out and Kristaps was in his bag, finished with 43 but the variety of ways he can score in the game is crazy. Hop jumpers, moving leaners, deep threes, hook shots, step backs etc he has everything. The people that like to play off the ball defense don't realize you can green pretty much every post hop shot against the CPU if you have difficult shots badge.


Also, Enes Kanter is a monster on the glass, had 19 rebounds against Wilt.

The flip push video from ervgotti and the 21 delay videos from czar helped me out tremendously. I also ate my pride and turned shot meter on under my feet. I still think something is funny with shooting but I can adjust better with it on now.

I also have been doubling the Giannis and Wall types on the drive with a little success. Some of these dudes know Giannis is OP and try to abuse him.

Great minds think alike. The Flip Push is one of the freelances that I use. I like using the Corners and Flow (who doesn't, lol). I'm scrimmaging and watching videos to add a 4th to my personal list. I find these three best fits the Pacers than the default 3-out 2-in which, frankly, I think sucks. I'm going to read this article...

Because I don't recall seeing this before the release.

I was using the shot meter by the hands, but I'm reading now that the meter isn't as "accurate" as the shot meter by the feet. I went into freestyle mode, and there might be some truth in that. One by the feet actually changes in size based on the range of the player where the one by hand doesn't. Also, the arrow might be factor too. Should we be looking at the tip as it approaches the top, or the "base" if we think of the top of the meter as a triangle? With the feet, you're just timing it for when the two lines come together.

Just had Shaq hit a couple 3’s on me. I can’t do it anymore. Wish we had an option for Casual and Sim. The launch and stab you in the eye and you react like you just been hit with a 12gauge has made its way back. Along with the easy 2 for the jump ball man at the beginning of the game because his defender always lags behind. Along with not being able to play with your team the whole time, im gonna officially throw in the towel in this one.

I really don’t have much of an issue with the steal spammers, protect the ball really does work and u can still explode right out of it with a hesitation or dribble combo. I agree with the reaching after a rebound though.

Also who did u primarily run with in previous 2ks? I’m finding the competition even worse than last year, but I’m still currently in the lower leagues. Haven’t played PNO in a little bit

I think with everyone being forced to use different teams, people are just getting "easy" wins against people who are not familiar with a particular team. On the flip side, those same people are losing games when they're forced to use other teams themselves. I wouldn't be shocked if the majority of users are hovering around 50% winning.

If anything, this new format just proved that the majority of players used only 1-2 teams in PNO.

Just played a game where i was unstoppable in the first quarter then i can't defend anything. Game literally turned into a layup line for this guy. He wasn't even a decent player.. One pass then turbo. The game just wouldn't allow me to defend. I also couldn't hold the ball for ****.

No other internet traffic, nothing downloading in the background..just bull****.

I think with everyone being forced to use different teams, people are just getting "easy" wins against people who are not familiar with a particular team. On the flip side, those same people are losing games when they're forced to use other teams themselves. I wouldn't be shocked if the majority of users are hovering around 50% winning.

I'm honestly getting ready to sell my Anniversary Edition. I can't take this broke bull**** anymore.

The game has too many issues. No matter what they add to offensive, everything is broke.

The game just gave me a loss because all of a sudden there's a connection problem when everything was fine other than the stupidness of the game itself.

It's probably a combination of both. I'm getting used to the new gameplay mechanics, so I'm expecting to take off on a winning streak at some point.

As a side note....you dang NYK users are the people who's preventing me from getting my Tier 3 wins, lol. Tier 2, no problem, because I get to use my Pacers. Tier 1, hit and miss, but I'm getting more and more comfortable using the Thunder. Tier 3...those Knicks are a tall order.
