Wow! I think that’s BS the score should be about 20 pts difference. How can you 2K allow this that his bench scores more than his bench and still only win by 10pts.

I guess it’s all the 3s. I couldn’t pull away until the last minute where he got frustrated.

This guy had like 97% win rate or something high too

You have to consistently out-shoot them through the whole game.

It did before, then it stopped counting. That was about to be my "solution" to avoid having to play with teams from other tiers. However, I have a suspicion that you have to earn above a certain letter grade to get the win to count as one of your required games. Haven't been able to test this theory yet.

Yeah I've played 2 getting an A and got 2 wins to my total count and got pushed into JV.

Having to use the shot meter when using teams I don’t know is ludicrous it does way more harm then good. I just turned it off and release the 3 at the peak of the jump. I don’t even think it’s accurate....

Before you could have the meter on freethrows only, is that option gone ?

Love the leveling up system this year. No more dubs cheesers in the top levels! You NEED to have skills this year and that's a scary thought playing dubs in the top levels haha Enjoying playing as the lower tier teams also like the Suns.

Where has the limit transition menu item this year?? Same old cheesers tryin to fast break all game...

People are still going to pick the Warriors in Tier 1 and the Bucks in Tier 2. Tier 3 is really the only Tier that doesn't seem to have a consensus "top" team. Warriors can't be "challenged" until you pass the College level to unlock the Tier 1 Historic teams.

Here's the catch...Once you get to the Development level, there's barely anyone to play against. Unlocking the All-Time Teams is a dream based on the size of the player pool.

The new leveling system is stupid...the reality is that you end up facing the Warriors more than you did last year, because you can't "hide" in the other tiers. Also, the only time you'll get to play with the All-Time team is offline or in a private match.

Still speechless at the mind-numbing decision that even thought for a second that classic teams should be same tiers with the contemporary teams. C'MON MAN.

I don't mind that. Classic teams aren't that good. I beat them most of the time. Especially considering a lot clasic teams don't have a ton of 3pt shooters like todays game so you can do a bunch of gaps and not have to worry about 3s....much more relaxing.

And if someone chooses bulls then of course I know they will try shoot with Jordan 99% of the time...to easy to win.

Funnily I haven't played the dubs yet out about 8 games. I'm sure it's coming...

I keep fouling with the right stick so a few times the 'to many penalities' message popped up even though I am winning in the 4th the opponent will quit and take the win. No honour here haha

Defense is crazy this year. We've gone from not being able to guard anyone to eveyone being able to guard anyone. Learn how to balance 2K we only needed a tweak from last year...I read the patch is coming.

So offball D is even worse to play against this year because you have to work so hard to beat your man in the first place then you have to deal with the offballer who has now been given a boost on D by the game!

Sorry I'm late to the game here just posted similar. It could've been me even lol I've lost a few like that and up by similar points. It's so unfuriating at the time lol

Haven't learnt how right stick works yet. I'm not spamming square. I learn on the fly, to impatient to play against the cpu and practice.

So I guess it's more like 17 and 16 where you just need to stay infront of your man and time the steal better with right stick. I did prefer that method.

Now that's dedication.

I haven't gone back to PNO after one game due to everyone being able to hit almost every open shot like last year. They need to put this mode on HOF or at least give us lobbies for different difficulties. HOF plays much better than the other difficulties where everyone can nail open shots consistently on a game to game basis.

Steal spamming is annoying too but I can't take another year of non-shooters being a serious threat from outside. I shouldn't be killing opponents with Marcus Smart or worse, Ben Simmons, from outside.

I think it evens itself out over the course of the game, percentage wise. John Wall is about the only one really over done imo. People consistently hit 3’s with him like he’s Curry.

Just pick your poison though. I’ll give Simmons the open 3 all game long over a guy like Covington and just play the percentages. If he hits one or two I’ll live with it, but at the end of the game I guarantee it’ll look something like 2-15.

Anyone else get this where the game then immediately ends between you and who you're versing?

Got this error 5 TIMES so far since I started playing tonight. The worst thing is, is that it will happen late in a game too.

Of course it has to happen when I'm winning in my rank up game to Development. Of course the only time out of 6 games the error doesn't I lose my rank up game and get my College progress reset. This some BS!

2k Servers wasting our damn time. Can one of the OGs here alert one of the devs about this ****

So...how to beat offball D this year? I haven't worked out how to space the floor, cut to the basket is not really effective without it especially with spam steal this year.

2K needs to punish these offballers more. They just relax on D while I have to play both ends. It's kind of like if you play a shoot em up but all the AI team members kill your opponents for you, what's the point? It never happens because the human skill should be better and rewarded.

Yeh I incorporate offball sometimes as part of my strategy to mix it up depending on the opponent but 99% of these dudes are doing it all the time cus of no skill and there is no downside to doing so.

I'm burned out on this mode and it's only been a week. The flaws with this game are so apparent. Every single person I've played, has played exactly alike. I cant even use Brooklyn every time like I want. Imma stick to myleague for awhile

Well unfortunately majority of ppl online play offball and a lot of ppl who prolly would play onball gave up and went off ball too so u prolly won’t get a lot of feedback here bro lol.
