I usually reach goat within the first 2 weeks of release, but I don’t I can stomach this anymore

literally everything about this is unpleasant. The set up, the system, the gameplay, everything. I’ve even seen people desync games to avoid getting losses madden style. This **** is ridiculous

Tier 1 gameplay at the top of these leagues is the most ridiculously random and unbalanced thing I’ve seen in my life. There is NO defense. Your best bet is to trap/pseudo trap and go for interceptions.

Park gameplay makes more sense than tier 1. It’s like they played 5 on 5 with 60 overalls and thought, “wow our defense this year is lockdown.” Completely ignoring the actual good teams.

I'm usually in the top leagues by now too. They tried to come up with some clever tier system to separate the good from the bad only the game play is totally screwed so the cheese prevails anyway....

Man, you might want to start utilizing the dashboarding. You're going get to burned out on this game if you keep playing the Warriors like you do.

That's probably a good idea but it gets annoying dashboarding out 5 times in a row. Should be better this year cus dudes can't play as dubs all the time...at least that is one positive from this year so far.

2K18 I could pretty much win 9 out of 10 against dubs anyway, not that it was enjoyable experience which winning should be.

Classic dubs BS. First the AI tries to steal (deflects) the ball for me but it bounces right back to KD. Then I onball KD and he's jammed up with Wall holding the ball in-front so I swipe at it...foul.

Wait for the ending it's a classic. He turns it over but get it's right back again.

Hey 2K IRL after a TO the players are getting back on D to stop a break, they don't stand still and start swiping at the air.

If I ever try to steal after a TO I'm actually running to in between who I think he's going to pass it to time the steal but in this game you can just stand still after a TO and mash. Again mashing beats timing.

Yes I should probably hold the ball and or try to icon pass instead but that's no fun, I want to get out on the break and be rewarded for playing good D.

Oh wow! It's a start, but they changed the requirements to complete a level! Also, they reset everyone's record. At the moment, it looks like you have to get all your wins in one and only one tier.

EDIT: Never mind. It's probably some online glitch. I can only select teams from Tier 1.

Welp, everything is back to normal. However, this tells me that something CAN be done about this stupid new system. It's just a matter of whether or not they're going to flip the switch.

Yup. All they probably have to do is “flip the switch” on the team select screen to allow us to chose whichever team/tier we want.

Yes. It a band aid fix but atleast it will quite the PNO audience.

I swear it's hard to blow people out when you have two people that know what they're doing. My past four games have all been nail-biters and down to the wire.

EDIT: Add a 5th game. Came from 8 points behind in the final 2 minutes to win by 6. I don't understand most people's complaints, but I'm liking the gameplay more and more. Would love it more if I could use the Pacers all the time. Now, I can see how this game can be frustrating as hell. You can make some genuine mental mistakes in crucial moments that will make you mad in a New York minute.

If what I saw was any indication, then you would be stuck playing a lot of GSW users since the Raptors are in Tier 1, lol. Granted, I would probably end up play a lot of Wizards and Bucks in Tier 2.

This is exactly why i put my copy on ebay. Hopefully it sells quick and unless some miracle patch comes in the next couple months i won't be picking up another.

So people really get up in arms because another user prefers to play off ball defense? That’s like someone saying I hate playing guys who run pick and roll/pop as their primary offense. I guarantee these same people complaining do some tactic that another would consider cheesy or be annoyed at. Everything else the guys said is legit. The steal spamming the missed shots under basket. The weak contests causing missed layups. Excessive hip riding and bumping by weak defenders it all makes for a bad experience.

From the matchup screen, go back to your console hub, then quit the NBA 2K app. From there, you just start the game again. Make sure you do it within the 60 second countdown, or it will count as a loss.

I’ve only noticed guys that’s are good on ball defenders that are controlled by AI pressuring up and going for steals. Guys like Bledsoe CP3 Kawhi and comparable defenders going for on ball steals. I don’t see AI defenders like K. Love and Redick going for on ball steals on the perimeter.
