Ok.....so what happened ???

I can use the raptors now everygame ??

Basically I can keep repeating tier 1 over and over again just now we can’t move up leagues ??

Wasn’t that one of my original “quick fixes” for this mode in order to please everyone ??

Either way, happy that this was changed. It was the right thing to do in the name of fandom.

Based on Kush's video, you can use your team over and over, but you sacrifice moving up in the ranks. I guess it really doesn't matter overall. The wait time got longer and longer as you went further up in the ranks.

How did you even discover this? I would have never thought about clicking on the Tier again once I got my two wins. Good looking out though!!!!

You couldn’t select the tier 1 tile after you completed the games. It wouldn’t be selectable. Now it seems that they just removed that and you can now keep

I wish their was a “Call of Duty Prestige” feature in PNO. So that we can start over and don’t have to wait super long to get matched up in a game.

If you keep repeating tier 1 games (for example).

Does your overall record still record wins/losses

Does the “games remaining” still still countdown ?

Or is everything basically just frozen in time ?

I just meant that I wouldn't have even bothered pressing "A" on a finished Tier. If Kush hadn't discovered this, I would have literally kept playing the other tiers under the impression that I was still being forced to. If I found out, it would have been completely by accident.

I would’ve found it. I always tried to keep selecting tier 1 after my games were done in that tier.

Unfortunately this is what I’m going to do lol. Right now I’m in the Euro League. I’m going to get some L’s to move down into a league that I feel is competitive and also doesn’t have too long of a wait period. *Sigh*

It must be that unlike previous years you now only get matched to those in the same league as yourself. I remember beating a guy that moved me up but then I played him the very next game. However you can play againsr other tiers in the same league.

I would actually advocate they allow that to happen again say 80% of the time or something. Nobody wants to wait forever to play. I don't mind smashing a trash player every now and then

But I'm the one getting smashed by trash atm!

I don't care per se, but this is more of a curiosity question. If you meet the required two wins in the Tier, do the additional wins/losses count against your overall record?

Hmmmmm....doesn't anyone think that this makes the mode MORE competitive? Since you can't rank up by just using only your team, that would mean players are stuck on whatever level they decide to settle on. For me, I'm probably going to stay in the Junior College level. Technically, I'm a good players who's staying put, but I know that there are players in my tier who could reach GOAT under previous years' format. Before, I would never play those players except maybe on their come up, but now...

The only drawback is that I would be confined to playing the same 10-20 teams in Tier 2 which technically that's really not a big deal, since it was like that before. I just had the choice to use any Pacers squad from the start. Also, I'll be playing against some Classic team where in NBA 2K18, they were their own tier.

EDIT: Geez...I feel like I'm about to play this mode all night when I get home.

I'm tempted to lose to move down but I have too much pride in my record to just take Ls lol. Might stay in the NBA for now though since there's only 1 person in HOF currently on PS4.

I feel you! Once the game gets started I’m too competitive to lose on purpose. What ima do is quit a game or 2 so it’s an automatic loss but I don’t want to get suspended and have to wait an hour to play again.

They gotta nerf the steals and call more fouls. A couple dumb steals can keep a bum in the game or totally blow it for you. 50/50 ball that just keep going right back to the offense.

I can't keep allowing myself to rage.

Lowering the foul limit for each player to 4 or 5 may help without touching gameplay.

Porzingis and Giannis are demigods in this game. Both players have weird speed boosts animations. When they take you off the dribble, it's a wrap.

Giannis takes off from anywhere inside the 3-point line and phases you back if you get in his way.
