If what I saw was any indication, then you would be stuck playing a lot of GSW users since the Raptors are in Tier 1, lol. Granted, I would probably end up play a lot of Wizards and Bucks in Tier 2.

From the matchup screen, go back to your console hub, then quit the NBA 2K app. From there, you just start the game again. Make sure you do it within the 60 second countdown, or it will count as a loss.

Nah that takes to long to play again just go to Network and untick and tick the Internet checkbox then go back to the game.

I'm seriously considering dashboarding the dubs after I came back from 20 down and tie game 19secs left and my possession...Thompson (gatorade) jumps out of no where steals the ball...fast break to KD (gatorade) banks in contested long 2.. game over.

Curry is ridiculous this year he can drop it in from near mid court like a layup.

The challenge is not worth the angst.

So people really get up in arms because another user prefers to play off ball defense? That’s like someone saying I hate playing guys who run pick and roll/pop as their primary offense. I guarantee these same people complaining do some tactic that another would consider cheesy or be annoyed at. Everything else the guys said is legit. The steal spamming the missed shots under basket. The weak contests causing missed layups. Excessive hip riding and bumping by weak defenders it all makes for a bad experience.

How is that the same? That's a legit strategy and you actually have to do that yourself. To be comparable it would mean you standing on the wing while 2 AI offensive players do the play for you then you hitting shoot when ready.

Preferences aside the AI is doing all the work for you on D which should not be anywhere near effective as human D. But as it is do we have these guys conserving their own energy on D just jumping up and down if someone goes near the paint and it works....

Tired of these cheese ballers hovering around the game and even pulling out wins because they know to push hard left/right!

Off ball defense can be strategic too. Maybe you like to rotate and quarterback the defense. Maybe you like playing on the big so you can ensure proper box outs. Different strokes for different folks. I see where you’re coming from but it’s all strategy at the end of the day the user has to make shots. The cpu can’t shoot for them on that end. Plus the cpu is very straight in their defense. If you call a pick and take advantage of matchups it’s a lot easier than trying to iso them. I’ve had to learn that the hard way.

Yes it can be. I utilize it at times also.

Specifically I am talking about paint campers so you pretty much have to do the same thing on offensive everytime to beat it.

Anyone noticed running plays does not get people open as much as last year. They made the defense so sticky I can't even run plays against paint campers.

Anyone noticed running plays does not get people open as much as last year. They made the defense so sticky I can't even run plays against paint campers.

Defense is excessively sticky. I’ve made another thread discussing that very thing. The Korvers and Redicks of the world be defensive stoppers and players u can’t isolate like in real life and take advantage of. You can’t abuse poor perimeter defenders on the wings. But u can expose them in the paint if you’re fortunate enough to get the switch

Dumb question. PS4 owners can't close the app from the home screen? On the Xbox, we just select the app, press start, then select quit. For us, the process doesn't even take the long.

Using multiple freelances and maybe series (I personally haven't dived into them yet) is the way to go. Most freelances have multiple starting points and many branching options. Honestly, I would probably only call a play if I had a money play to get a much needed score.

I find the offball defenders to be easy prey to freelances, because they can't keep up with the offensive players as they run through screens and make cuts. I love it when an offball defender is caught sleeping, and my teammate pops free for a wide open shot on the other side of the court.

That's why I mentioned a few posts back that this game can be a nail biter when you have two people who know what they're doing, AND they make adjustments throughout the game.

Lmao 2K really said they improved the defense? Lmaooo alright. I’m having close games with players that shouldn’t have a chance against me. Somebody can really be in the paint, then come steal a pass at the 3 point line as soon as I pass the ball. Missing layups with nobody within 10 feet of me. I’ve never been in such disbelief while playing any 2K game before this.

Jordan Bell hit a wing three against me, not a corner three but a three from a low percentage area, I really have no words for how poorly done the ratings are in this game.

Ps. I Greened a three with Amir Johnson, this game is a damn joke, non shooters are lethal from three.

Yeah, just press the PlayStation button then, press option scroll to close application then reset if you want.

Use icon passing, and you have to release as soon as the player leaves the ground to get an excellent release on a layup. After practicing in scrimmage mode for some hours and days, PNO definitely require some skills. The only thing that's stopping from me from complete dominance is my inconsistent shooting percentages.
