At the end of the day, I don't care what they do with the tiers. The only thing I care about is being able to use my team as much as I feel like when I feel like it.

Not to offend anyone, but this new system is just flat-out ********. This will be the first time I ever said this about anyone at 2k, but whoever designed this new system needs to be fired. Like, this is literally THE dumbest idea I have ever seen in a sports game. I have seen ideas that sounded good on paper and didn't work out. Okay, fine. However, this idea should have NEVER made it to paper in the first place.

Tier system is a good idea IMO...(unless they provide us with team filters) Dabbling in Live's H2H and playing the Warriors 10/12 times reminded me why we need them, lol

Just never restrict who we can play with again..

I’m sure they can patch in what I suggested above. It would solve everything and is probably simple enough to actually do via a patch.

I usually reach goat within the first 2 weeks of release, but I don’t I can stomach this anymore

literally everything about this is unpleasant. The set up, the system, the gameplay, everything. I’ve even seen people desync games to avoid getting losses madden style. This **** is ridiculous

Tier 1 gameplay at the top of these leagues is the most ridiculously random and unbalanced thing I’ve seen in my life. There is NO defense. Your best bet is to trap/pseudo trap and go for interceptions.

Park gameplay makes more sense than tier 1. It’s like they played 5 on 5 with 60 overalls and thought, “wow our defense this year is lockdown.” Completely ignoring the actual good teams.

Yeah, defense is starting to feel a little suspect to me too minus the passing lane steals which can mostly be avoided. Also, I just played a Cavs user where his entire offense was the hip riding animation with Sexton. I swear it wasn't that easy to pull it off before. However, it really doesn't matter, because it's relative easy to pull off some dribble moves to get pass the defender. I'm starting to feel like a dribble God myself.

what happen to the good of days of just utilizing what you had before was great. Just change the background of art work and bam! you got something new going forward but the choices was perfect!!!

My exact thoughts. They did this because of the warriors. The Snake ruined 2K also!

I'm enjoying the variety. I would rather be forced to use other teams than have play dubs cheesers all the time. It's quite possible once you reach GOAT or the top 3 leagues that you may get to use your team all the time. That's how they should design it at least...gets rid of all the BS dubs players up there.

This year feels like much more of a challenge in racking up wins. I'm definitely enjoying it. Having to learn at least 1 team in each tier keeps this mode fresh for me. Just had my first drop in level, realizing I need to keep shot meter on for teams in higher tiers.

The thing is that the Warriors were a "problem" if you used a Tier 3 team. Otherwise, you mainly played against teams in the same tier, since the search option for games in other tiers was broken by all practical purposes. IMHO, 2K18 did it right minus the mirror matches.

There was only one year I complained about variety, and that was the year that dashboarding actually counted as a loss. Otherwise, I didn't care about bandwagon users. I just dashboard out and looked for another match.

Some people have this "macho" attitude that they'll never backout of a match, because they don't want to come off as scared. Those people would rather play the Warriors 10 times in a row versus backing out. Not me. I don't play this mode for bragging rights, and there's definitely no money tournaments involving this mode. I play this mode for fun.

Another thing I don’t think 2k considered using this new tier system is not only are u limited by how many players u play as u go up the rankings but it could also be a result of the time ppl are actually playing the game. Sometimes I can’t get a game till like 2 or 3 in the morning so if theres like only 700 ppl in that particular rank my chances of finding a match decreases dramatically whereas if it were more open we would find more games in general. Just my two cents

Made to Euroleague and the only thing I can say is, the feta is real. I pick Brooklyn and get matched up against the Greek Freak. Not Milwaukee, the Greek Freak. Nerd cheeses me up Giannis. Dude barely beat me and I'm taking another break. It's only 26 people in the tier anyway.
