Re: Official NBA 2k19 MyLeague/MyGM Thread
So, I've started what I hope will be my official MyLeague. Took a while this year, kept running into game issues or just bad starts. Pretty confident with the team I drafted though. After the first 3 games I am 2-1 and I'm only playing 14 games a season. I also have a system set up for playing time that factors in both suggested playing time and actual performance.
For example, Will Barton was my original starting SF but after a poor first 2 games I benched him and started Chandler Parsons because Parsons had a great game 2. Bench works the same way. DJ Augustin had a great game 1 and so I gave him 25 minutes for game 2 where he delivered again but he had a poor game 3. Therefore next game I'm going to try Wanamaker off the bench just to see how he does. Dion Waiters was my best bench player from game 3 so he gets the 6th man role in game 4. Starters and 6th man will always get at least 25 minutes and starters are more likely to get there suggested minutes if it happens to be suggested that they get more than 25. The rest of the bench is set accordingly after the top 6 have been set. Only 10 players will play each game, 2 at each position. Each game should have a different rotation and I'm having a lot of fun with the reward system I have set up.
Here's the lineup for game 4
Starters
Chris Paul (37 minutes)
Kent Bazemore (26 minutes)
Chandler Parsons (25 minutes)
Pascal Siakam (32 minutes)
Marcin Gortat (29 minutes)
Bench
Dion Waiters (25 minutes)
Cody Zeller (25 minutes)
Will Barton (25 minutes
Ryan Anderson (8 minutes)
Brad Wanamaker (8 minutes)
Not Playing
Miles Plumlee
Nemanja Bjelica
DJ Augustin
Kyle Korver

Re: Official NBA 2k19 MyLeague/MyGM Thread
I was not able to get a response to my earlier post in this thread. thought i would ask again.
Im playing on Allstar- with shooting turned down a bit. My first season in MyGm. I won the championship- Where the regular season was hard but the playoffs seemed extremely easy. I started season 2, lost a couple games so far, but the majority have been blow out wins for me. I am by no means the bset 2k player ever. Im pretty good vs CPU. Does anyone know what factored into regular season being more challenging than the playoffs?
And although i may lose a few games, most of my wins are blowouts? Does this have to do with Team Chemistry?Comment

I think as far as the blowouts happening I think team chemistry does play a factor. I haven’t been on my league/my gm much yet bc of my career but I’m going to start a new my league after the trade deadline. I remember from last season in 18 when I had the my league I always control the bulls, during the beginning of the season, I could see how the team progressed and played better bc of team chemistry getting higher. In the beginning most teams start out around 60 percent with teams like GSW and other competitors usually are around the 80s so I think that you are on to something with the team chemistry. As far as the reg season being more difficult than the post season I’m not sure why that happens but the sliders may have something to do with that. I always forget the users name but there are sliders that everyone has been using for their my league/gm and they’ve been kinda happy with the results so far. I would do some digging through this thread to find out what’s the name of the sliders if no one comments on this post. I believe it starts with a B or something like that. Hope this helps

Re: Official NBA 2k19 MyLeague/MyGM Thread
What changes have you noticed in actual gameplay? I haven’t notice a big difference in game even with the bug (at least how I have my other tendency sliders set up - using becoming 2k20), but I’m curious to hear what you and others see.
My biggest beefs in myleague are the contract and gleague bugs. My last 2k was 2k15 and that year it took until February for myleague to work properly... so there’s still hope!
What are your sliders? Do you mind sharing them? Thank youComment

Your estimate is way off. And I didn’t buy a video game to do homework. I just stopped playing.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2k19 MyLeague/MyGM Thread
So I've finally decided to do a proper save this year, this time resorting to an expansion team on 30 games regular season and play them all.
I added the Seattle Supersonics (obviously) and the St. Louis Flyers (me).
In the draft I pretty much took a young prospect and a veteran mentor on each position, with a few fringe players on expiring deals:
PGs: Jeff Teague, Landry Shamet, Briante Webber (picked up from FA for depth)
SGs: Danny Green, Alonzo Trier, Khyri Thomas (G-League) and Brandon Paul (FA, 2 way).
SFs: Terrence Ross, Trevor Ariza, Justin Jackson, David Nwaba
PFs: Jerami Grant, Mike Scott
Cs: Aron Baynes, Cheick Diallo, Emeka Okafor (FA).
Started out 3-0, which surprised me greatly but I ain't complaining, Trier and Shamet are the future, Alonzo is averaging 19 ppg on 43%FG and 46 from 3.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2k19 MyLeague/MyGM Thread
Started a player lock MyLeague and simmed the the 2018-2019 season...LeBron won MVP and led the 8tn seed Lakers to the NBA Finals...and won in 7 over the Raptors. The Lakers beat the #1 seed Warriors(70-12) 4-3, they were without Curry throughout the playoffs because he broke his hand at the end of the regular season, 4-3. They beat the #4 seed Pelicans 4-3 and #2 seed Thunder 4-1 en route to beating the #1 seed Raptors 4-3.Say "No" to railroaded MC modes.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2k19 MyLeague/MyGM Thread
My first season with the Magic is done. I finished 10-19, which Im not happy with as I won too many games early in the season. Harden earned MVP and - I dont know how - the Thunder won the title.
Aaron Gordon had a breakout year, averaging 22 ppg and almost 10 rpg. He got his first Allstar nod. Otherwise, the team was pretty average. Fournier had a strong first half but regressed later. Isaac and Bamba showed their potential with Bamba being nominated for NBA AllRookie 1st team.
Unfortunately, I received the 7th pick, so no Zion for me. Its Barrett I was aiming for anyway. Athletic, solid scorer and already a good defender. I wanted him really bad so I made something happen: A three-team trade.
Magic receive: 2nd overall pick (Suns), 2019 2nd rounder (Hawks)
Hawks receive: 7th overall, Evan Fournier
Suns receive: 5th overall, 2020 1st (Magic, Top3 protected), 23st overall (Hawks)
I wont be able to do much in Free Agency with about 6 mil cap space. So my team is pretty much complete already:
PG: McLaughlin (22, 70), Augustin (30, 73), F. Jackson (21, 73)
SG: Barrett (20, 78), Ross (27, 74)
SF: Isaac (20, 75), J. Jackson (21, 70), Hill
PF: Gordon (22, 79), Wagner (21, 70)
C: Bamba (20, 72), Reid (20, 69), Mozgov
I just want to ruin the pick I gave to the Suns the upcoming season. And have fun while developing the young core.Comment
