I cant for the life of me figure out how to win in MyLeague when simming games.

im in the 4th season of simming and my current team record is 4-14.

my current starting 5 (not including rudy gobert 87 overall / injured)

Sexson - 89 overall
Stanley - 87 overall
Baldwin - 88 overall
Williamson - 97 overalll
Gobert - 87 overall

has anyone figured out why or can you help in telling me what I'm doing wrong?

I have a 4 star lineup via the coaching system with brad Stevens as my HC

Simming is so weird. I played as Timberwolves and made it to the NBA Championship (lost). Picked up another key free agent in off season and retained most of my roster. Next year, I won 25 games. No injuries. The sim system is so random.

Additionally, I tried to rebuild the Suns. Developed some A/B+ draft picks, even after 5 seasons, still couldn’t win games.

Agreed, the sim system feels like a coin flip.

I know it's just me, but I tried Pro default with 2k rosters and finally had a fun game with realistic shooting %for CPU. Hawks vs Knicks. I won 107 to 101 , but teams in 40-48% fg%.I did 11 min qrts, so might even go to 12 min qrts if holds up. I can always just adjust sliders as needed as I see any issues arise over several game sample.

just experienced a bug where all the rookies in my myleague suddenly had 2 or more years pro experience, and it completely ruined the rookie teams/ rookie stats. anybody else have the same problems?

I was considering starting a myleague online with a couple friends, this will be our first time ever doing so does anyone have any tips for us? I was more so wondering about how it works overall, do we all have to play on the same ? Should use game sliders and things like that? I appreciate any advice thanks in advance.

just experienced a bug where all the rookies in my myleague suddenly had 2 or more years pro experience, and it completely ruined the rookie teams/ rookie stats. anybody else have the same problems?

Yeah I had the same problem. Between that and the age glitches on importing draft classes it ruined the experience for me to the point where I gave up on the game this year. 2k seems to have no interest in fixing these bugs.

Hey Everyone , got a question

So i got through my first season in MyGm, played about 80% of the regular season games. During the season i would have stretches where i would lose 3 or 4 in a row, Game would be difficult. Then i would have stretches where i win 4 or 5 in a row( which is cool). Some games i got blown out, some games i blew out the CPU, and some games were really close an exciting. Then I make it to the playoffs with the 5th seed, and the game play seems so easy.
Round 1 Vs Hawks- Who had Jimmy butler/Trae young- I win an easy 4-1
Round 2 Vs Bucks- Who had the best record in the east, ( Giannis went off for 30+ each game, but i also won that series 4-1)
Round 3 Vs Celtics- Horford/Hayward were out for season, But i won that series 4-3 in which i blew out the CPU in game 7
Finals vs OKC- PG had 2 great games westbrook was average, and i won that series 4-2 with most games it seemed so easy

I am playing on ALLSTAR with Minor tweeaks to shooting success, in which ive lowered it a Tad bit for both myself and CPU

Why did the regular season pose more of a challenge than the Playoffs? The playoffs seemed so easy that i didnt even enjoy winning the championship.

Does this have anything to do with Team Chemistry making me play lights out? Is there any way to make it more even?

I started the next season , played 4 games and im 1-3 and seems to be challenging again. Bit confused.

I can finally cross something off my gaming bucket list, I played an entire 82 game season with 12 minute quarters! It was CPU vs CPU so any time I was home I had a game playing on the TV. A friend of mine assumed the role of Assistant GM and we started it off with a new expansion team and a fantasy draft. We thought our team could compete but never in a million years did we see this coming: 74-8! a new NBA record. Scored the most points per game and allowed the least. In the playoffs we didnt lose a single game and closed out the amazing championship season in dominating fashion. It was such a joy to watch - I love this game and it was my first ever championship.

Here is the team roster and some photos from the finals celebration.

This is awesome. It's something I definitely want to do myself one day. I actually started this year doing the same thing and playing each game on CPU vs CPU and I was only going to do one season but I got off to a terrible start and just deleted it.

Now doing a MyLeague with the Rockets. Got beat in the first round the first year by the Lakers. In the second year we did not make the playoffs. I made some trades and it didn't pan out like I thought it would though I think it will help me in the long run. Because I didn't make the playoffs and I did the rule change for the tournament to determine the #1 draft pick I was inserted in that tournament and we won and got the first pick and drafted a promising Small Forward.

That's pretty much where I'm at right now, about to start the 3rd season. The sim engine could be better but I'm having a pretty good time with it.

A very smart way to build a team around your star Giannis. 2k loves Trae so he scores about 20 a game as a rookie. DJ handles the defense and rebounding. Roco and Baz are 3 & D wings and then you have niche players coming off the bench.
