I was not able to get a response to my earlier post in this thread. thought i would ask again.

Im playing on Allstar- with shooting turned down a bit. My first season in MyGm. I won the championship- Where the regular season was hard but the playoffs seemed extremely easy. I started season 2, lost a couple games so far, but the majority have been blow out wins for me. I am by no means the bset 2k player ever. Im pretty good vs CPU. Does anyone know what factored into regular season being more challenging than the playoffs?

And although i may lose a few games, most of my wins are blowouts? Does this have to do with Team Chemistry?

Go to superstar?? Give yourself a challenge. Personally its never fun to blow out teams every night. I think maybe youre just getting better and maybe not go to allstar but turn your shooting down in each category by 2 and then theirs up by 2. Just change the settings to where you have a comfortable fun game

Its the rosters from what i learned and how the progression is this year. The peak and growth ages need to be fixed. Give it a few seasons and you will have a ton of 80+ free agents out there because the AI is capped and can't sign anyone.

Seems to be the case across most sporting games when it comes to the "franchise" game modes lately. More put towards the MP aspect of the game ( and micro transactions )

Anybody else just given up on MyLeague this season? After this summer, no elite players ever make it to unrestricted free agency (the lifeblood of the NBA offseason and player movement) and within a couple years a lot of good players go unsigned because the CPU teams cannot manage the cap.

(Yes, I've tried the sliders and rosters available from the community, but they can only do so much to overcome the game's flawed coding.)

It's disappointing but considering the direction of all sports games toward card-collecting modes and away from franchise, not surprising.

Only way atm I think to combat this is adjusting the draft classes every season by tweaking the rookies start and peak decline ages i believe ( from what others have stated ). Problem with that is its a time sink because of how time consuming editing each player is.

I know right now someone is doing fictional draft classes and he has 4 done. Which isn't a lot at all, especially if you sim. It just shows how insanely time consuming editing the classes can be just so you can have a semi proper working league.

Yet it seems like no one at 2k has even acknowledged the problem with draft class generation

I did try it and the tournament itself seemed to work fine during the first year. My team actually won it. The problem, in my experience, was in the years afterwards. Every year no matter how good my record was or whether or not I was in the Playoffs I was ALWAYS placed in the tournament and even if I lost the tournament I would always be awarded the #1 pick. I actually had to re-start my MyLeague because of it. I would advise just sticking with the lotto system. In the MyLeague I'm doing right now I've turned off rule changes completely.

The community shouldn't have to do all this work for the game to be a somewhat-playable realistic experience. It's 2019.

2K would care if there was VC involved. There isn't, so we get crickets.

Well, Im pretty happy right now still playing 2k18. As Im reading the complaints, Im happy I didnt buy 2k19.

Im in the second season in my league with the Magic (updated roster). Free Agency was pretty eventful except for myself. Kyrie joined the Bucks who let Middleton walk to the Pacers, the splash bros are no more as Thompson joined LeBron in LA. The other stars, Boogie included, resigned.

Other notable signings:
Bojan Bogdanovic - Spurs
Kidd-Gilchrist - 76ers
Bledsoe - Bulls
Howard - Kings
Vonleh - Knicks (20 Mil per year, lol)
Vucevic - Lakers

The Magic just made two signings: Isaiah Thomas (one of my favorite players) signed a one year 4 million dollar contract plus team option, PF Samanic, a second round pick who wasnt signed, joined for a year aswell.

I still somehow managed a great start, winning six in a row after a lost opener to the Timberwolves. Aaron Gordon should be in MVP conversations, averaging about 28 ppg, 10 rpg and shooting 57%. He is simply great and just fun to play with. Barrett is a great fit, leading all rookies with 16 ppg, with 4.4 rpg, 4.7 apg and 1.1 spg on top. Terrence Ross (15 ppg, 3 rpg, 2.3 apg and 46% from outside in just 23 minutes) has a career year and took over Isaacs place in the starting five. Frank Jackson (13.6 ppg, 2 rpg, 4.7 apg) and Mo Bamba (11 ppg, 11.4 rpg, 3.6 apg, 1 spg, 2.4 bpg) are the other starters.

Did a fantasy draft league with some buddies and after a few trades built this team (OKC)

So far I’m 10-5 and realizing teams love to sag off Aaron Gordon on the perimeter. 18 3s the last 2 games with him. My biggest question is how the hell do you make FTs in this game??? I am shooting 67% from the line, last in the league. All Star difficulty for now btw
