You would never make it in the software industry with that attitude.
In order for an issue to be "fixed" it must be a repeatable issue that you can reproduce and show to someone else.
I cannot come over to your house, unless you want to pay me to get there, so therefore I need a video that shows the issue.
If no one can produce a video of the issue, is it really an issue at all? Not saying that it isn't, but how is anyone supposed to help without an example.
Forget that I do this stuff for a living.. go ahead and figure it out on your own....
Sr. Engineer at a software company actually.. I don't have any logs or debugging method to prove its an issue to you, those tools are not available to us. I posted the issue in the bug thread already.

Could have fooled me with the way you were talking...
So when you develop software and a member of the team says it isn't working correctly, you just take their word and don't ask for an example?

My game plays smooth as butter in HDR10 at 4K resolution.
I have a 43 inch 6-series off brand that cost less than $300 at walmart.

Have you gone into your xbox settings > video > 4K and changed a few options in there to test?
There is a checkbox that says something like - check this on if you are having issues with 4K and HDR...

      Have a great day!

        Re: Game is stuttering!

Just a thought on the recent topic....it's difficult, though not impossible to get around the 30 FPS video not showing stuttering/framerate issues. A lot of cell phones can do 60 FPS, and you can take an off-screen video through one that does and upload that.

It's how I finally convinced some people that I was seeing a frame rate issue with MLB The Show 16, and here's that video as an example.

        <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/cnyGy3nqdNo?rel=0&amp;showinfo=0" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe>

You wouldn't have been able to see the ball appearing to "skip" movement frames in a 30 FPS video, and although I don't have 2k19 right now I believe the issues people are discussing here might be a similar situation.

Also, that whole ordeal taught me something very important - that some people cannot percieve the difference between 30 and 60 FPS, even when it's presented to them as clearly as this.

If someone seeing the framerate issues would be able to take a video like this, it might go a long way towards convincing people (including the devs, if they lurk here) that there's a real problem.

Where exactly in this video is the ball skipping?

It's not just the ball, it's the whole game screen - the ball in flight is just the easiest way to see it.

I thought this might happen, so here's the other part of my example from back then - when the same game is running at or near 60, in a different stadium (that was the issue btw - the standard PS4 simply couldn't handle 60 FPS in certain stadiums during gameplay):

            <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/kJiAyYJY0Do?rel=0&amp;showinfo=0" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe>

See how much smoother and fluid the ball's flight looks? It matches the smoothness in the "shakiness" of my phone camera - it means they're both 60 FPS or very close to it. In the first one, you had that same shakiness, but the game isn't as smooth-looking - that shows that there was an issue.

I guess you can put me in the group of people who don't see any differences between 30 and 60.
Both videos look identical to me. Both look extremely smooth.

Hopefully they can reproduce the issue and release a fix.
I will try this tonight when I get home. I switched to 1080p on my Xbox before I left but it did not help. However, I did not reset my console after switching to 1080p.

Curious to see if this works.

That's what I'm trying to explain - the reason it doesn't show up in the videos is because those videos recorded straight from the console only run at 30 frames per second (I did watch them). 2k19 runs at a higher frame rate than that - it should be 60 FPS or close to it. What's likely happening is that the framerate is fluctuating between 30 and 60 FPS (perhaps because the stadium graphics are taking too much of a toll on the hardware) and that's what you are experiencing as "stuttering", but no one can see that in the videos because they cap out at 30.

That's why I suggested the phone video thing, if you have one with a way of capturing 60 FPS video on it.

Turning off HDR fixed my issue. Temporary workaround. HDR makes the game look so much better. Hope they fix this soon. Such a disgrace.

Here in France I've seen all the reviews of the game but nobody said the game is stuttering...
And I was asking myself how could it be possible?
                        Two possibilities :

-They all have ps4 pro not Xbox one X
-They don't really test the games

                        Hum...

Same for me, I'm playing with HDR disabled at the moment in 4k and it's smooth.

This right here is 100% proof that this is a handshake issue with your equipment, and not a game issue. HDR will not affect performance or cause stuttering under any circumstance ever. There is no example of this ever happening, nor will there ever be.

So now you guys have to figure out what is causing this handshake issue.

If you do not meet one of these requirements I fully understand it but with all of these it is impossible.
The vast majority of Xbox One X users with HDR TVs are not experiencing this handshake issue. The key in that sentence is "handshake issue" because it has already been confirmed by pimpycraig that this is what it is. It's not a game or console issue.
