Still amazes me they can't add just a bit more realism to the coaching IQ.

I just finished a game where the opposing team called a freaking timeout when they were down 8 points with 1.8 seconds left. It was a frustrating game to begin with, and then they anger me more by pulling that stunt.

Another pet peeve is how they opposing team rim help D is MUCH better than my team. My guys play like lazy jerks, but the opp. team are greatest team D in history.

How do you wear black accessories in away games in Mycareer? I did at first but now I wear white in home and away games.

I saw someone say that if you go to whatever team you are on in my career in “play now” whatever accessory colors you choose when selecting jerseys should also reflect what colors will be worn on my career. I haven’t played my career in a while so I haven’t tried it so I’m not 100 percent sure it still works but you can try it.

Past few years, I waited until Black Friday to get 2k on sale. Mainly for the discounted price and wanted the season to be underway with more up to date rating when I start MyCareer. But there was a point where I felt like skipping this year since next gen is coming out next year and we would get a similar experience we have been getting for the past several years. But since I had am additional Target gift card, I was just able to purchase this game for $21. So for me $21 is a good purchase even if i just play the game for 3-4 months.

Using the MyNBA2k app each day since it launched, I was able to save up 44K VC by just doing only quick games. I'm not buying VC. So just spending 7-8 minutes a day, I saved up 44,000 VC TO use for my MC. I might not play right away. I mainly want to wait tor the next roster update. But with possibility of a DeRozan trade in real life, I might wait. Ideally i would like to start next Thursday because i have a long weekend off. I am leaning towards doing a wing 3 &D player and wanting to pair with Ja Morant in Grizzlies. I usually always do a big and occasionally a PG. But I feel a big is too easy in offline MC. So I want to do something different

In the first negotiation (I think with Gatorade), I asked for too much and they declined. Since then, I haven't received a single endorsement offer. I'm at like 80k fans now and haven't been offered Gatorade, Nike or Beats. Anyone know how to fix?

I've been playing the Rec for a few and have to say I absolutely hate it, only reason I'm playing is to be able to customize My Court and get a few celebrations.

Now I have no problem saying i'm not as good at this game as many others but I can't hit shots for anything in this mode and to top it off even open shots seem to give me a Bad Shot Selection after I miss. Really wish they didn't have some of the things I want connected in having to play this mode.

Im about to stop because of how broken Intimidator is. Im seeing more and more missed dunks by myself and others. Layups or anything close bricks as soon as someone with Intimidator is near. As of right now anyone investing a few points into defense can get this on gold at least. The badge should be exclusive to rim protecting builds.

I just unlocked the Chris Brickley workout can anyone recommend a good custom jumper for me to use for my pure sharp SG please ?

Also is it just me or is it easier to hit 3's than midrange shots on this game? I hit 3's at over 60 % but midrange around 45% I don't get the logic it should be easier to hit midrange jumpers than 3's yet I can have a well timed midrange shot just brick even when open? The shooting mechanics on the game just seem off to me.

You can use pretty much any jumper and green with a Pure Sharp. Base 85, 98, 49, Curry, and 107 are highly rated on NBA2klab. The release that you use with the base is personal preference.

The main problem with Rec is that its slower, fatigue is a bigger part and defense is buffed. I've found if you want to play Rec you almost have to play it exclusively because if you don't, the different timings between mycareer and rec will screw you up when you play Rec.

Well, that and the problem that %25 of all people you play with are self-interested or griefers, and another %50 are idiots.

Are there no free shoes from the shoe endorsement anymore? I used the free shoe from the agent on Reebok Kamikaze IV and now I have my Puma endorsement but no Puma shoes. Do I have to pay VC for them on the store?

I really wish the replacement level bench players on the opposite team didn't play better than your superstar teammates. Jeremy Lamb is lighting us up right now while I'm on the bench. It's a close game when in reality the Mavs have the best bench in the game besides the Clippers. It's just really frustrating watching your teammates turn it over possession after possession and the Pacers who are currently bottom dwellers in the East play like a juggernaut.

Even though I wanted to wait until roster update to start MyCareer, I'm leaning towards waiting until new year to start MyCareer. With teams being able to trade players signed as Free Agents starting Dec 15, I think that is when we start seeing trades in NBA. I just don't want to start MyCareer and there's a major trade. I feel that by start of new year there might be 1-2 trades. And after 30+ games of real season, players will be performing around the same level throughout season so that should be reflected in MyCareer.
After originally wanted to do a 3 & D wing, I'm leaning towards creating a undersized athletic defensive Center. I wanted to do something different since i always do a big. But after testing my Two Way SG again last night, I realized I still tried to play like a big as a SG. So, I might as well stick with what I know. I have almost 48K saved up using MyNBA2k app each day. I did a dummy MyCareer to see where my 2 players would start at. My SG would start at 74/75 OVR if I get my 3pt to 80 and mid 70s perimeter defense. My center would start at 78 OVR with focusing on 80 Inter defense and rebounding and low 70 shot close. If I wait until 3 weeks, I can get close to 57K VC. So I could start just over 80 OVR with ability to have immediate impact.
Typically I don't like starting MyCareer on good teams. For me to keep interest long, I like to start on young building teams with a young co-star. Then build that team or sign onto a young up and coming team. I like to go to a team that needs my position. For my center, I'm thinking of 3 teams. I'm thinking of Mavs, Celtics, and Hawks. Those teams have a need for a defensive center. Ability to pair with Luka and KP would be nice. I see Celtics and Hawks as similar fits. Both younger teams with lack of size. Celtics would be immediate title contender and I could just focus on defense and rebounding. ATL would be good young nucleus. There would be cons though. Luka and KP would take away from rebounding and KP size could limit my production. With Celtics, I would have to play a defined role so other starters would play true to real life and playing on a stacked team on MyCareer isn't always the best. ATL is typically the team I would choose, just don't care for the jerseys lol. I'm leaning towards ATL just cause I don't typically start out with playoff teams in MyCareer.
