I guess Joseph and O'Quinn are decent bench guys but McDermott has been really bad for me.

I wouldn't mind trying to improve by bringing in a SF/PF... I'd be most interested in someone who can guard athletic/bigger SF's because Bogs versus guys like LeBron and Simmons (I've played both and got torched) is tough.

I'd be willing to trade a first and potentially take on a bad contract (if needed) to bring in the right player... mainly because let's face it, Indiana just isn't a FA destination. I was looking at a list of their top FA signings ever and man it was depressing.

The Clippers and Suns are both bad so someone like Tobias Harris (one year deal) or T.J. Warren if I wanted to go the scorer route. If I wanted to go pure defense the MKG or maybe Justice Winslow. Both will be RFA's. Charlotte is bad and Miami is okay but Winslow may be expendable for them, especially if they can get a draft pick back. I'd love to have someone like Aaron Gordon since they Pacers were interested in him in real life, but I think it may be too soon for Orlando to move on from him since they just re-signed him... and even if they were ready the price may be too steep.

What deals would be decent for those guys or is there anyone else that I'm missing?
First off I would never have Bogdanovic guard LeBron and other elite players, lol. In your situation I would always put the length and mobility of Thaddeus Young on them.

I would go after someone who can body up those kinds of players, and also make shots. Khris Middleton would be a great pickup - he does a little bit of everything. Jae Crowder would be a cheap option you could get without giving much up.

In real life, Bogdanovic guarded LeBron in the playoffs last year and actually did pretty well... well, as well as anyone could hope for against the best player in the world. But, you're probably right in 2K Young would probably be better off guarding LeBron, especially since the Lakers don't have a PF like Love that he would have to guard in Young's place. The 76ers would be a "pick you poison" because I don't think he could guard Saric too well and his biggest 2k problem (being super slow) doesn't hurt as much against Simmons since you only have to guard him in the paint... he's still tough though.

Crowder is definitely the type of player that I'm looking for. Utah is actually doing pretty well, so I'm not sure that a expiring and a 1st would be something that they would be interested in. Maybe I could do something around Thad for Crowder since they're loaded at wing but I really wanted to look for a team that's more interested in future assets/expiring first.

Also, I (potentially) screwed the pooch on Jimmy Butler and the T'Wolves. I control all 30-teams and I started my MyLeague thinking that I would just move him when he got moved IRL. However, Minnesota is playing well. They're 2nd in the West and it wouldn't make sense moving him for a lesser player and future assets at this point. If I had it to do over I would have just manually injured him for "personal reasons". With that said who knows if he actually gets traded IRL so maybe I didn't screw up.

LeBron averaged 35 points per game on 55% shooting against the Pacers in that series, including three 44+ point games (which is half of the games in the series, he flirted with 50!).

My point stands haha. Pacers had to throw different bodies at LeBron like every team in history that has ever played him in a playoff series. You can't keep giving him the same looks.

A straight swap of AJinca for Korver would work with maybe like a 2nd or something going to the Cavs. The cavs save the $ next year and they don't have many bigs on the roster. The Pelicans upgrade at SG and don't really have to give up anything.

I've moved jrue Holiday to SG hes goes up by 2 . Korver for Ajinca is a good deal for both teams good idea .

It would have to be a team that isn't going to be able to use all the cap space to sign a big name FA so your looking at teams like the Kings, Pacers, Wiz, Blazers etc. The teams that aren't in the big markets that are kinda stuck in the middle willing to take the gamble. I think it would have to be a team that offers them almost all expiring contracts plus another asset like a future 1st. Blake, Turner and Dipo for the Pacers makes for a pretty fun trio. The issue is how does trading Blake make the Pistons better in the long run if they aren't able to use the cap space toward signing a all star type player ?
I was hoping pistons tank all out this season for a shot at Payton. They are bottom 5 so far . Would be a really nice duo with Drummond and Payton

I am waiting for the same thing what I think I will do is just wait play out the season and if he is traded irl before i finish my offseason just do a sign and trade with his new team. Since Jimmy fits on about every team its really hard to know what to do with him.

Hey guys, I’m going to use the Lakers once I start my MyLeague. I’m wondering, what’s a fair/realistic deal I can make to acquire RoLo from the Bulls? He will be my main target once I get around the trade deadline.

Also, for people who run 30 team MyLeague, how do you go about making trades to keep your league organic ? Thanks.

Lopez is in the final year of his deal so if the bulls are out of the playoffs at the deadline a expiring contract and maybe a 2nd round pick or so should do the trick. The problem with the lakers is the expiring contact would prob have to be someone like KCP . I don’t think lakers IRL would make the trade with kcps agent tied to Lebron. If the lakers still had deng it would be a much easier trade. Might throw zubac into the deal to give the bulls a young center

I just make the trades and moves as if what I would do if I’m running the team. The rebuilding teams I just have a long term plan on what they should do in my head.

How about going after vucevic on the magic ? Expiring contract and hes good enough to help the Lakers in the playoff run and the magic also get to start Mo Bamba sooner

That's a good name, but he will be more expensive than RoLo IMO. I want to keep all the young guys, and I don't see the Magic wanting Lance, Rondo, Beas, or KCP. I would give up Zubac, but I do not think he will be enough.

I didnt move ROLO because the bulls were sitting at no 5 in the east ( surprisingly)
I think the magic would move Vucevic hes on a expiring deal and they need to move Mo Bamba into the starting lineup. Vucevic would only help the magic win more games which they dont need right now . I moved vucevic to the Lakers for a 2nd round pick and a prospect in the low 70s . Lakers get to compete this year and still keep all the cap they need for next summer and the magic get to move Bamba Into the starting lineup. The magic are not good enough to make playoffs so theres no need to win games better to develop the young guys and pick up another top 5 or 10 pick

                          Hi guys,

i'm about to start a myleague with the cavs, trying to manage the post-lebron era

honestly, the roster ain't easy to start the whole thing off

players i would like to keep (and see how they develop):

                          Kevin Love

                          Collin Sexton

                          Jordan Clarkson

                          Rodney Hood

                          Larry Nance Jr.

                          Cedi Osman

                          Ante Zizic

                          Sam Dekker

                          David Nwaba

                          Chaning Frye

                          the rest (possible to-be-traded players):

                          George Hill (19mil/yr)

                          Tristan Thompson (17,5mil/yr)

                          JR Smith (14,7mil/yr)

                          Kyle Korver (7,5mil/yr)

I would like to trade at least 2-3 of thos 4 (quite expensive) players.

Korver can help a playoff team, won't be that hard, to trade him but Hill, Thompson and Smith got very huge contracts.

can you recommend me any possible trades to get rid of some of those huge contracts?

how can i recieve picks/young players and lower my salary? (financial rule - 3 team trades?)

the suns and magic might need a PG and trade for Hill right?

who would "need" guys like Korver, Thompson and Smith?

i would be very thankful for any tips

Of those 4 players Korver is the only player you could trade and get back something in return and even then it would be something like 76ers trading Bayless and a 2nd for him or Knicks Lance Thomas and 2nd.

If your trading Hill, Thompson or J.R your either going to have to include a 1st or swap them for a worse contract like Evan Turner or Mozgov. Its going to be hard to trade a 1st since you already have a top 10 protected going to atlanta.

You could swap like Ryan Anderson for George Hill that would be a lateral type trade (without looking at overalls and exact $)

It's definitely not the best trade, so I'm posting it here to see if I can tidy it up:

Minnesota sends: Jimmy Butler, James Nunnally, 2019 2nd Pick (MIA) unprotected
Toronto sends: C.J. Miles, Norman Powell, 2019 1st Round Pick Lottery Protected, 2021 1st Round Pick Lottery Protected

2K says it's a valid trade. If I'm Butler, I'd only want to leave for a contender. If I'm Minnesota, I wouldn't want to keep him in the West and I'd still want players back who can contribute now.

Is Toronto giving up too much with two first rounders?

Make the protections top 3/5, swap Miles with Annunoby and I think it’s alright
