I think the Cavs would easily do that as they shed salary and pick up a small asset with the 1st and help them tank. I don't think the Lakers would do unless they strike out with the bigger names in FA. They also appear to be higher on Kuzma playing alongside LBJ then Ingram.

If I'm the Lakers I'm hanging up on you with that trade offer... Why would they hamstring their cap space for Love and Clarkson... They got rid of Clarkson to open up space to get LeBron... Hell naw... Kuzma (who's a great fit with LeBron and is cheap), KCP who's on an expiring contract and a first round pick for Love and Clarkson.. Pelinka and Magic would get ran out of town

If your main goal is to get a 1st round draft pick then you need to take on salary or a worse contract. I'm not sure what rosters your using and if you have Hill or Burks. You wont be able to get back a quality young cheap player like Nance. What are the expiring contracts on your team your using that are over 10 million ?

It depends on whether you are just trying to match value or make them realistic.

I don’t think the Wizards move Wall for another bad contract in hardaway at the position there best player is in.

Ntilikina and Monk probably have similar value with young guys who have potential but have struggled. However I think Charlotte are all in on keeping Kemba so can’t see them trading for Frank.

KAT is the better player now and less injury prone imo. However they are both so talented and have such a high ceilings. Value wise you could probably make the trade. KAT has had some issues with his drive in the past. Not sure either team would be interested but if u want KAT I think the value is decent

Thanks for your thoughts. All I hear the media say is how bad John Wall’s contract is and that Washington should dump him. I’ve even heard them say Washington would have to include a pick to get rid of him. That’s the only reason I posted that trade idea, because Hardaway Jr is having a good year and has a bad contract that is half as big as Wall’s.

I see what you’re saying about the Monk trade. Maybe I can find a third team.

I figured KAT for Kristaps was fair because Kristaps isn’t injured in my association.

I think Alec Burks is going to be a 11 million expiring contract on your roster (assuming you have him not Korver). You would have to add someone in the mix like Clarkson (his ovr goes up at SG) that would give 23 million contracts to ship out. I'll copy and past some bad contracts that I posted earlier in the thread.

*this is year 1 and I think from the initial ratings

                    PG
                    George Hill (76) - 2 year & 37 million
                    Brandon Knight (74) - 2 year & 30 million
                    Patty Mills (76) - 3 year & 36 million
                    Matt Dellavedova (73) - 2 year & 19 million
                    Dante Exum (74) - 3 year & 29 million
                    Shaun Livingston (75) - 2 year & 16 million (+2 at SG)
                    Langston Galloway (74) - 2 year & 14 million

Yea what one & done said it depends on if your trying to be realistic or fair value and go for your own storylines.

I'm in year 2 and Frank hasn't developed into anything and Monk had 20 points year 2. Either way the Hornets wouldn't make that move unless its the offseason and Kemba is gone. KAT and KP are both all stars so I would say just keep them on their current teams as they are pretty much even.

Sometimes it can be tricky when you talk real life and 2k. In real life the John Wall contract has the potential to be awful once it gets into the 40 million range. I haven't done any test or looked at his peak this year, but my guess is the contract will not be as bad in 2k as it would in real life. Just look at what is peak end is and what his salary is for that year. Even after his peak end he should still be a useful player for a year or two.

I agree value wise KAT for KP is prett even, we won't know who will be the best fo the 2 for a few years yet.

If your the Knicks and want John Wall, I would suggest Frank Ntilikina + Enes Kanter for John Wall. Knicks match salary with an expirning Kanter and a young PG. This would onyl work if the Wizards were blowing it up which they should in my opinion.

Hey guys I was able to sign Klay Thompson since on day 2 of free agency he still didn't have an offer....

Dunn, LaVine, Thompson, Lori legend, Carter Jr.

RJ is our 6 man backing Zach & Klay....

I am 17 games in and I am regretting the Klay Thompson signing since I wanted the team to stay young,Markkanen runs the team!!!

What do you guys think about trading Klay Thompson to the suns for Devin Booker...is the trade Fair?

I don't think the Suns would do that trade straight up since Booker is a younger.

Just about to start as the Clippers. I want to bring in Harry Giles and Malik Beasley - thoughts on acceptable and fair trades for both?

Anyone is available and happy to either do individual trades or three team.

Here is what I posted in my dynasty section about a potential trade of AD to the Celtics. This is after 2 years when Pelicans and Celtics both being disappointments.

Should Celtics Trade For Anthony Davis ? (feedback wanted)

Boston has been a big disappointment the last few years and after getting upset in the 1st round this past year its time for changes to be made. Al Horfords contract is off the books, but still they have no cap space to be players in FA. They have to give a new contract to Jaylen Brown this summer and then Tatum next year. They need to find a way to bring in a Center and they have plenty of draft picks and players to go get whoever they want. The name that has been rumored for years is Pelicans C Anthony Davis. They missed the playoffs this year and it appears the time is finally right for them to move the star for a huge haul. Robert Williams has developed nicely however another PF/C is needed. A cheaper option is they could also use 8 and 17 to trade up in the draft to take one of the 2 elite big men.

They main player they will look to trade is Gordon Heyward who is in the final year of his contract. Its unlikely Boston would give him another big deal with all the other people they have to pay. Its doubtful New Orleans would want Hayward with his age and contract situation so they would likely need to find a 3rd team. They would look for a team that has a younger player locked up for a few years. The other two role players that could be traded are Terry Rozier and Marcus Smart. They also spent two 1st round picks last year on young PF's Washington and Smith and they could be useful for a team in the rebuilding phase.

Boston of course has a lot of draft picks and the 8th pick plus at least one of the 17th and 26th is a near lock to be included in the deal. This is a pretty deep draft so the 8th pick will be able to bring in a player with all star potential for the Pelicans. The Pelicans don't own their 1st round pick as it belongs to Atlanta.

So in closing if your Boston would you trade the following for Anthony Davis ? If your answer is no then what would be your counter offer

Gordon Heyward (likely going to a 3rd team)
                                Rozier
                                8th & 17th pick
                                Washington / Smith
