Re: Player Movement - Lets have a serious discussion
I'm not, I'm on PC. If you just want the player movement improvements, they are located on the second or third page of this thread (originally this wasn't going to be a slider thread). Those sliders can be used for any difficulty level, and either user timing or real player %, as they target player movement.
You can also try my player movement sliders in conjuction with Mrwrestling3s sim slider set that's also located on this thread. I would suggest raising body up sensitivity to 25-30, ball security to 70 and on ball defense to either 50 or 55 (max).
You will have to input the sliders yourself, but once you do it once, you can just save them and load them every time.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Re: Player Movement - Lets have a serious discussion
I've sent them 4 pages of early feedback and suggestions on Twitter, and also tagged them in videos (the ones I have on the first post) but no responses. EA devs acknowledged the feedback I sent to them (Connor Dougan, etc), but not 2K.
I'll continue to send feedback in hopes that it can get looked at for 2K20. I'm as professional as possible with my feedback/interactions, so hopefully that helps the cause.

Re: Player Movement - Lets have a serious discussion
I uploaded some to the ps4 servers for my friends. Only difference is i have passing speed at 60 instead of 65, and they've been built from the All-Star level instead of Hall Of Fame like Retro.
Filename = BetterMovementAllSt (yes i ran out of space to type allstar)
PSN = barncore33
Edit: Oh, and make sure you set your gamespeed to 48 (in settings section). Not sure if that gets saved into the sliders file.Last edited by Barncore; 09-21-2018, 09:45 AM.Comment

Re: Player Movement - Lets have a serious discussion
Da_Czar said that registering tickets in the 2K support system is our best bet of getting heard, because that's how 2K measure the numbers and know what needs priority. The twitter accounts are just accounts that belong to individuals that work for 2K, but it's not really an official thing.
Da czar did respond to one of the comments on one of my posts, so I know he's paying attention.
I'll submit through 2K support. Can't hurt.

Thanks for doing that. So now atleast people on PS4 can just download them instead of just manual input. If I have time between today and tomorrow, I'll adjust the first post on this thread to reflect the sliders. And I'll also post them in the main slider thread.
I'll include my player movement ones, and an option to include the sim ones that you and I have been working on with them.
Please hold off on posting them yourself on that thread. Only reason I ask is because I made the original post here, and have a certain way that I want to organize that post. Not saying you would have, just asking politely.
Thanks man,Last edited by RetroDee4Three; 09-21-2018, 10:04 AM.Comment

Re: Player Movement - Lets have a serious discussion
Mr wrestling could you post your complete slider set when you get a chance. I have what you posted before but there's still some missing and I want to make sure I have everything the same for the full effect"Aim for the bushes"Comment

Re: Player Movement - Lets have a serious discussion
Thanks for the breakdown.
I already stated that I think body up sensitivity should be up a little, around 25-30. We agree about that.
The game speed itself was actually lowered to 48, and I highly disagree about it being like 2K18. On 2K18, you could blow by anybody, with anybody, at any time you wanted, just by pushing forward on the joystick. Even on HOF, or defense sliders jacked up to 100, you could still do it. Melo on you? Kawhi on you? Didn't matter, just push the joystick forward, and you could run by.
These sliders produce nothing like that, you have more instances of getting by than the default sliders the game gives you, but it's nowhere near all the time, and it all depends on who you are using. For example, in my gameplay highlights I posted, the first highlight shows Teague completely shutting me off. However, I have instances where I also get a first step on him. I couldn't get by my guy hardly at all with Satoransky, but I could a few times with Austin Rivers. Beals first step isn't as quick as Walls, so I wasn't able to blow my guy, I had to use Beal like Beal, and get good looks from the outside.
This games help defense also blows away 2K18s, as help would seldom come (even with help defense tuned up to 100 in sliders). So instances where I got by Teague with Wall, I was met at the rim by defenders.
So I completely disagree about it feeling like 2K18, it feels nothing like that with these sliders. But I appreciate your feedback. One thing I will state: with Mrwrestling3s and my other sliders we are testing, he suggested on ball defense at 40 (which is in my gameplay video above). I'd recommend putting that back up to 50, or at the highest 55.
Also, THIS is 2K18 defense on HOF default. My sliders in 2K19 are nothing compared to this (the scoreboard is a mod)

For Body Up Sensitivity, I think 25 User/30 CPU might be what you're looking for.Comment

Re: Player Movement - Lets have a serious discussion
I had put the On Ball Defense at 40 since that is one of those sliders that can cause issues with CPU defenders being too sticky. It can certainly be tweaked for user preference, though I would be careful going too far above 50 as it may cause magnetic or psychic defenders.
For Body Up Sensitivity, I think 25 User/30 CPU might be what you're looking for.
Noted: I tested this out as well, and 50 felt pretty good. Either way, I don't think you we can go wrong with either one. The game just feels a lot better overall with the changes.Comment

Re: Player Movement - Lets have a serious discussion
Interestingly, originally had the speed and acceleration WITH ball at 75/50 and the speed and acceleration withOUT the ball at default 70/30, and that's when i really enjoyed the sliders, thinking they were great. When i brought the remaining 70/30 ones up to 75/50 i didn't like it as much. Seems more artificial or something, can't put my finger on it. Maybe it's my imagination?? Small sample size and i gotta do more testing but something to think aboutComment

The reason it's for both, is because speed without the ball is also a problem with the game with default 70/30. Fastbreaks feel sluggish, movement off the ball (Cuts, screen setting, etc) also feels and looks slower than it should be. The point of doing both is for consistency, it doesn't mean that the players speed with the ball is just as fast as without, as it still goes by that individual players speed with ball rating, it just means that overall the pace is more life like in my opinion. Go on YT and watch some fastbreaks in the NBA, look how fast the players are moving with and without the ball.
But, it's noted and I'll take it into account. Whichever setting give YOU the best experience, is what you should use. So I appreciate the heads up. For me personally, 75-50 across the board feels solid.Comment

Re: Player Movement - Lets have a serious discussion
I got to sit down and play a few games for fun, and I find I enjoy the game SO much more now.
With the invisible walls and magnetic animations minimized, it feels more like real basketball instead of a game of animations and I can actually feel the difference between good, average, and bad players now. When I am losing,or the other team goes on a run, it feels like it is legitimately my fault for making mistakes instead of the CPU pulling shenanigans.Comment
