Any chance you can post a vid of you getting 70 on HoF with 5 min qtrs?

This is the best I can do for you right now (I don’t touch this build anymore bc it’s useless in Park). I had 53 with 3 minutes left in the game before I asked out since I was only grinding for VC. The MyPoints will show me being 24/27 from the post and my total shooting was 24/28 due to missing a 3pt shot.

Again, this was not a badge grind game, so I didn’t let the cpu hit wide open shots so I get more offensive possessions (thus the A- grade bc I actually played defense). I was trying to get out of the game as soon as possible after getting up by 11. When I was badge grinding I was taking roughly 40 shots a game and hitting 85+% from the field. All I wanna know is if we are going to get balanced and interesting gameplay or boring *** gameplay like 2k18. Has anyone called out the dev who said limitless would be nerfed? I feel like I expected much better gameplay out of the gate than what we've got so far

No it's the noobs to the actual game of basketball that love to complain about making it easy

As far as your experiences, no matter what they do cheaters will always cheat no matter what game you play

I think it's easy to put all "complaining" in the same basket, but it really depends on the specific complaint and how valid it is based on the actual gameplay experience. Noobs complain, but so do seasoned vets if the gameplay isn't realistic. And THAT is where 2K really needs to learn how to refine their ears. More than that, they need gameplay testers and spectators on the actual courts of every mode post-launch (idk if this happens or not, but it needs to), trying to cheese the game or observing, instead of these shots in the dark updates, or twitter polls as the deciding factor to what gameplay adjustments should be made.

Nobody is pulling anything

It's those people whom are listened to that get the game patched and broken every year when it's fine at release

It's too hard

All My greens should make it

I'mma just play fortnite

They need to balance the game but they don't create it with unimaginable cheese in mind as the design

IMO. Layups are to easy. Standing layups from bigs are to easy, and driving layups are to easy. I play on HOF and I do not have a problem with missing layups I should make. Heavy contest standing layups I can make. I even green standing layups in traffic. Driving layups just the same. Additionally, if a person is behind or beside you it won't even register as a contest. People really hate defense.

I think people are playing a totally different game then I am.

We must be. We have an entire thread of videos of guys missing open standing layups. It has nothing to do with hating defense and everything to do with believing good defense should be rewarded and bad should be punished.

Your belief that inside contests are always registering correctly is flat out wrong and can be easily proven wrong.

still blowing too many layups as an elite finisher in rec.

But a pure rim protector can knock down threes

I literally have to go into a post move to avoid standing layups .

If it isn’t green the feedback will say open but late release (NOT very late) . No way I should blow that .

A 6’5 sharp can stand around your back and a standing layup is no longer considered open so you have to perfect the timing anyway .

But it’s ok because if you run into the back of a shooter it’s considered open for a hot green light special on a 70% clip. That’s all that matters .

The thing with standing layups is if i put it on Real FG% in MyCareer its fine, its needs to be a option for layups online IMO.

I would be ok if I was making these in rec . My build’s strength is literally finishing as a slashing post scorer . The layups I’m missing are even closer to the basket .

I think must people are talking about the standing layups after a rebound, or when they're making an attempt after a pause. Your video looks like mostly driving layups or hookshots (which I might start doing instead).

EDIT: Dumb question...how does the system determine the difference between a standing layup attempt vs. a standing dunk attempt? Could the misses be merely blown standing dunk attempts?

Definitely . I know you’ve used athletic finishers for the past few years online . Not sure how many rec games you’ve played .
