Its why that shot meter trash needs to be jettisoned in the first place.

It's a crutch and its trash, and its arcade and frankly im tired of hearing about a shot meter in a game thats supposed to be a simulation when it was taken from an arcade hybrid game on ps3 which got cancelled due to low continual low scores

In the past 72 hours there's been 3 tunings?

Holy **** man... Let the tunings breathe a bit before we have knee jerk reactions.

Honestly I'm so confused as to where we are right now. Sharps were doing just fine last night in the Rec. Why did we need to revert it back?

Can we just stop making sharps OP. Post-update 3's are still OP. And what genius at 2K thought it'd be a good idea to make contesting shots even more difficult. Like pure SS don't get enough advantages? 2K is in love with these SS's I swear, are they all Steph Curry homers or what.

Yeah the standing layups in rec and park seemed to have been reversed as well .

              Just stick to basketball.

No disrespect intended, but I don’t think it’s noobs that are frustrated with this. I would put my stick skills up against anyone’s (I averaged 70 on HOF with 5 min quarters when I was grinding) but it’s extremely frustrating when a 6’3 minimum weight pure sharp/shot creator or combination of the two just zig zag behind screens then shoot a runaway fadeaway at an 80+% clip.

That’s not basketball, that’s poor coding and poor game mechanics. As mentioned earlier, it’s much harder to remove the zig zag as it would mess up other concepts of player movement and dribbling, but it’s very easy to increase shot contest sensitivity or decrease fadeaway shot success.

There’s no skill in doing this and it makes 2 on 2 pointless. And for the bigs that play with these guys, what enjoyment do you get in holding “B” or “Circle” while your guard takes 15 bad shots that 2K thinks is good. I’m as competitive as they come and I love to win, but a very derogatory word is the only legitimate way to describe these type of people and reverting the tuning rewards their lack of skill.

This is exactly what I was trying to communicate earlier in the thread. People saying skills gap and you must contest. Unfortunately the movement coupled with lag online coupled with tried and true cheese mechanics like zig zag and double picks, mean you have to reward things you shouldn’t, like proximity contesting, to keep the game balanced.

It’s also funny how every sim player knows that’s 2s are pretty much unplayable, year after year. You and a friend are better off playing with a random then playing together.

Man I wish 2k had that TNT license, they already pretty much have the TNT studio crew. That scoreboard is dope and the halftime show would be even better!! That was my take on that video, but to get on topic, I hate shot meters also and I exclusively use real player % in my offline myleagues

Why tho....ugh...Mike should've just went back to buffing standing layups and nerfing the outside shot.

I'm just sticking to offline for now....this is infuriating.

No it's the noobs to the actual game of basketball that love to complain about making it easy

As far as your experiences, no matter what they do cheaters will always cheat no matter what game you play

That's the downside of online gaming

I don't understand why people keep begging 2K to balance "online gaming" where "online gamers" constantly lab ways to cheat the game...I mean, how can they possibly balance online gaming with a real human being holding a controller and possessing a brain that can decode any way to cheat the game...that's why I steer clear of online gaming.

They should do what they can but at the same time these complaints will NEVER EVER stop.

Fix one they look for another...hackers hack

But what gets me is going online anyway knowing those people are out there but playing then anyway

Then shaking your first at 2K like it's their fault slushuranklez doesn't care about Sim basketball or anything else.

I expect cheaters on COD and any other big game out there.

Standing big men layups are genuinely trash, and they've undone the small improvements made so dudes can hit fadeaway 3's in peoples faces without worrying about any kind of shot quality.
