• Editable Bird Years for players
• Ability to edit draft pick ownership for rosters outside of MyLeague
• More rule changes, allow us to institute midseason tournaments, play-in wild card games for the 8th seed or allow all teams into the lottery
• More customizable draft pick protections, to do stuff like the protected pick that Utah sent Memphis
• 7 years of future draft picks available for trade like how the NBA actually does it instead of only going up 4 years like 2K19
• Custom divisions (Being allowed to go to 8 divisions of 4 instead of 2 divisions of 6 and 4 divisions of 5 if the league expands to 32, plus allowing people to rename the divisions)
• Third jerseys for custom uniforms not disappearing
• Ability to set default jerseys from teams historic catalog (AKA Home & Away but whatever Nike calls it now)
• Individual "Draft Class Quality" sliders for each position
• Editable retired jersey lists, allow users to add/remove jersey retirements at will as well as letting us come up with why a certain jersey # is retired with a textbox for Player Name
• Historic draft classes where guys are taken closer to where they are, instead of players like Kawhi & Jimmy Butler being top 3 picks

I agree on the stats popping up. Its so rare and limited. That would be more immersive. Myleague has a lot of customization but its so dry. More stats popping up. Score ticker during games. Better halftime show and post. Nba page with score and stats ect. Pre game stats.


I always wonder why these simple things are not added. Well idk if they are simple to add but they really need to be implemented for immersion. I'm tired of using my imagination playing myleague. I'm to old. Immerse me

I never understood why recruiting pitches were exclusive to college games. Free agency is exactly like college recruiting, theres just money involved (lol!). Give us more player ambition ratings like playing time, team roster, market, money, contract length, coach, number of 87+ players on roster (superstars), play for winner, etc. because those all play a role in where a player signs in free agency.



To add to that, make a player's morale affected by how his ambitions match with his current team, and if it drops too low, he would request a trade to a team that matches his ambitions more.



For lesser players, or basically non-superstars, their ambitions might be heavily toward money and playing time, so they would be less likely to request a trade as those dont often shift much. However, as superstars' ambitions side more towards market, playing for a winner, and the number of other superstars on that team, a player might be more susceptible to a morale hit and more likely to request a trade.

This is brilliant. I think player morale has been antiquated as of recently. They've hardly revamped that system. And there was no off season better than this one to prove how important that is.

I think the ratings system is also pretty old-fashioned. Players should either have their rating change absolutely depending on performance, or just change their value in the market somehow. If I have a below average player putting up all star level numbers, his market value should reflect that. He should have a higher trade value and he should want to sign for more money. This is how lopsided trades and bad contracts happen in real life; perceived value vs actual value.

Have they said they fixed or even acknowledged the players that get sent to the g league or are on two way deals that get boosted pot and ovr?

idk if this was mentioned already but.

when you complete a season in nba live you can actually see all of the award races, as far as who was second, third, fourth in the mvp and other awards, you actually go in depth to season the stats from every team.

2k should add that. that’s be cool.

What’s going on everybody! Been reading OS for years and using it as my go to place to learn new tricks and I finally decided to make an account!

With 2k20 just weeks away I decided to take on a huge project for this iteration of myleague, a 100% custom league! With 30 custom teams, draft classes & even fully customized rosters. I’ve already been working on most of the stuff on 2k19 so even though I’d love for more customization options in 20 I wouldn’t be too upset if they just kept it the same as that would streamline the process of transferring everything for me.

For the rosters & draft classes I’m definitely going to go 1 by 1 and create every players ratings, tendencies & badges. As of now I project my draft classes to feature plenty of top prospects with 10+ badges simply because badges have been so hard to come by in 2k through normal development & the mentor system is broken. If you guys would be interested I’ll keep giving you updates throughout the process and let you know as I work through it.

I also plan on developing a slider set for all this so that the progression/regression is accurate as well tweaking the free agency logic similar to what barncore did this year.

My primary reason for playing 2K is franchise mode and the classic teams, so I guess the most important thing to me is customization.

It would be awesome if they were to increase the amount of teams you can rebrand in franchise mode before it reaches its offline limit where it asks you to enable online saving.

It used to be 3, now in 2K19 they let you have 6 or 7. Any more would be awesome so I can comfortably recreate the 1995-96 NBA with as many correct courts as I can

Ability to edit Arena/Jerseys/Logos and pretty much anything "Branding" related either at the end or before a new season begins. Ability to add Alternate Jerseys, Holiday Jerseys and or special editions like throwbacks and such. Ability to add more jerseys, for instance after 10 seasons I would have new jerseys and my original ones would be my throwbacks.

I honestly don't know if I can think of any further additions I want. I just want them to improve upon draft classes, realistic G-League progression, morale effectiveness, etc.

It would be nice to have less than 30 teams though too.

So does anybody have any idea when they will relese the updated rosters with accurate injuries? Or does anybody maybe have a link to such a roster? I don't want any player edits just a roster with injuries included.

It's not, but nvm. Excuse me for asking for an accurate roster especially considering those players have been out for like 3 months and will most likely be out for the whole season.
