A good start to fixing MLO would be having consistent servers that don't consistently change the sliders, difficulty and quarter lengths. That would be very nice. Had one game where the score was 42-40 in the 4th with 8 minute quarters both teams shooting under 40%. Defense is good but not that good, next game I played I shot 8-11 from 3 with Lilard just to see the difficulty was somehow switched to rookie. It's very dumb and changes the feel game to game. Can't get consistent anything.

Right now the game feels terrible. Feels like turbo doesnt do anything, you can't beat anyone around corners even if you have the angle. Guys who would have normally stopped for a pull up are going in for layups and people you thought were gonna lay up stopping for pull ups, the shot meter speed is inconsistent. At this point, just take the mode out if the bare minimum is all youre gonna give it.

I may have mentioned it before, but we absolutely need the ability to make head coaches assistants. I hired Spoestra as the new HC of the Hawks. I really want to bring Fizdale with him as the assistant. Fizdale has been out of work for 2 years after being fired by the Knicks, yet, he will only consider HC opportunities.

MyGM Mode

1. Have better interaction with the owner. For example, I just led the team the 'ship and my next interaction is "Stay under the salary cap this season!" No congrats, no parade, nothing !
2. Have your avatar age. I'm 40+ years into my current MyGM and my guy still looks like he's in his 20's.
3. As the GM/Owner I should have more say to which jersey #'s are retired by my organization.
4. Whenever a player that's been on my team for a long time retires I look for them to hire as coaches. For some reason they all are black regardless or what race they were before. Why ? lol
5. It's absurd for a Power Forward who's a 78 overall to complain constantly that he should start when the guy in front of him is a 95 overall that has won League MVP 5 years in a row.
6. All-Star voting is a little off. I've seen guys that are currently in the Top 5 in MVP Voting not even make the All-Star Game.
7. I know you can download MyLeague sliders, but you can't currently do the same for MyGm. It would be nice if you could. Or even better have the ability to 'restart" or 'reset' your League. Its time consuming setting up if you do 6 expansion teams and adjust all the sliders.

Trade logic involving multiple teams and picks
Personally, my pet peeve in MyLeague will always be the CPUs trading logic; especially involving draft picks. The new trading sliders are fantastic and maybe some of the issues can be solved by editing these sliders.
But no matter how much the sliders are adjusted the following trade types cannot be achieved by the CPU with the current trade logic:

• Trades involving multiple teams
• Trades involving multiple draft picks for star players or a young talented player
• Trades involving a combination of multiple young talents and draft picks for a star player
• Logical trades during draft night (e.g. packaging two late first round draft picks in order to move into the lottery in the same draft)

IMO those are some of the most exciting trades in the real NBA and it's too bad that they are not emulated in NBA 2k (unless you control all 30+ teams with automated trades and trade approval turned on and replicating these types of trades yourself.)

This is my primary issue and something I wish the MyLeague dev team would focus on getting right.

Some other suggestions:

1. Trade review: Please rework the trade review option in MyLeague. As it is in 2k19, If you click this option the simulation just stops and you have to manually go into the trade proposal screen and recreate the trade to review it. Ideally clicking this option should just take you to the proposal screen automatically with the trade ready for review.
2. G League: Should be fully editable so we can edit potentials and recreate real players; if possible make it a playable league again i.e. not only simulation based as it is right now.
3. Foreign League: It should be comparable to the current G League setup (i.e. simulation only, however, without the G Leagues call-up/send-down system) with maybe just some 20 teams (which don't need to be real teams if the rights are too expensive). That way Euro Stash players actually have a place to go during their "stash years."
4. Unsigned free agents: Right now they just sit in the free agent pool because they demand too much money. They should either join G League teams (this should primarily be younger, lower rated players) or a foreign team (this should primarily be older, higher rated players) if they are not signed during off-season.
5. Coach potential: Right now, all players can potentially become a coach in MyLeague/MyGM after retirement. It would be great if there was a potential rating controlling who can become a coach after retirement, but a simple Yes/No option in vitals under edit player would be acceptable.
6. Evolving styles: Something that is currently not reflected in MyLeague or NBA 2k in general is that a player's appearance changes over time. I think it would add a lot to the immersion if players' hair, facial hair and gear/accessories change as time goes by. Maybe it could just be 3 different looks depending on where a player is in his career (pre-prime, prime, and post-prime playing years.) I realise that this is probably impossible for scanned, real NBA players but having the feature just for draft classes and CAPs would be amazing.
7. Scouting reports: It would be great if there were more extensive scouting reports for players in a draft class. Ideally we should be able to edit what information is included in a scouting report when we edit the players in a draft class. I'm tired of scouting reports mentioning a front court player's 3-point ability when he's classified as a rebounder or defender; it just doesn't seem relevant.
8. Dynamic crowd: It would help the immersion if the crowd sizes at games reflects how your season is going (i.e. empty seats if you're on a big loosing streak or having an overall miserable season.) It would be even better if the crowd reflected how a game is progressing in real time (i.e. people leaving early during a blowout.)
9. Better integration: By this I mean better integration of your current MyLeague season (e.g. storylines, stats, league leaders, trades etc.) into the commentary and pre-/postgame show; especially regarding players drafted after year 2. Once the rookie class of 2018 retires in MyLeague the commentary and presentation becomes very stagnant and non-dynamic.
10. More ambition ratings: Things like playing time, role on team, market size, and playing style could have a 0-100 rating like the play for winner, financial security, and loyalty ratings currently have; perhaps we could choose a players preferred role (e.g. go-to guy, role player, sixth man, starter etc.) and playing style (e.g. half court plays, fast paced offence, defensive emphasis etc.) from a list and rate the importance from 0-100. A players role could also be a part of the signing pitch during free agent negotiations.
11. Chemistry retooling: It would be great if the chemistry was expanded to also include what has happened previously. Like say player A and player B went to the same college and are in the same draft class but got drafted by different teams. If they then reunite on a team down the line, then their previous history together comes into affect and theres a major bump in team chemistry. The same could be the case for players who have played together for years who then split up and reunite years later (e.g. Garnett/Allen/Pierce who reunited in Nets). Another example could be if there are multiple players from the same country or city playing on the same team.
12. Changes to vital information: IMO only having the option of choosing either college or from is severely outdated. This needs to be split into at least two: Country and College. Ideally two additional entries should be added as well: US State and Hometown. All of this information could play into MyLeague/MyGm in a number of ways; for instance increased fan interest if you sign or draft a local player, increased team/player chemistry if multiple players are from the same homecountry/college/homestate/hometown, a draftees origin impacting draft priorities of teams, storylines and commentary impacted by a players homecountry/college/homestate/hometown
13. Ability to import custom draft classes: People (including myself put a lot of effort into creating custom draft classes, and every year it's a massive undertaking creating draft classes from scratch (whether they are based on real or fictitious players); the same could be said for all the other custom rosters and sliders that the custom content creators make. Even if it would just be the players' vital information, attributes, and tendencies that can be imported it would be a time saver.
14. Remove the limitations on local saves: I can understand why you limit the number of uploads, but why would you limit the number of local saves? And why do rosters and draft classes take up the same saves? IMO it makes no sense limiting the number of local saves to 10.

You know what? Ignore everything I wrote in my original post! Just fix the broken player progression system and the G-League progression bug. They are straight up ruining MyLeague and I've stopped playing 2k19s MyLeague because of it. That is my one wish for 2k20.

A development team that tests the game before releasing it (contract extensions don’t work, cap hits didn’t work, restricted free agency/matching doesn’t work)

A development team that responds to issues that ruin gameplay instead of ignoring the community for months

A simpler offseason (let people offer more than 3 free agents per “day”, let people make a free agent priority list so cpu can allocate the cap properly)

Progression that is somewhat based on wins and production. Stop letting everyone always reach their full potential and stop capping young players

Basically just a more common sense approach to help this be more realistic

Most of all we would love to see working servers, but that’s too much to ask I guess

a more dynamic free agent salary scale. example: a pf can ask for more money based on the number of available pfs who are free agents. so that pf who's ranked a 70 can get more money in a year that there are not alot of pf free agents.

more dynamic player ratings. a traditional starter/high rated player who signs to team, where he will no longer start should take a huge dip in his ratings. and a player who is traditionally a bench player who gets thrown into a starting line up should also take a dip. in this scenario a bench player would have to improve his ratings to become a full time starter without his ratings taking a dip.

a better reflection of on court chemistry. the more a lineup plays together the better their chemistry.

give us an easier way to edit the coaches and teams tendencies. not sure we can do this now. without having to take control of all 30 teams during a franchise mode or my league mode.

still need more defense in the game.

streamline the timeouts/in game adjustments- go back to 2k6 or 2k5. it was easy in 2k6/2k5to call timeouts and make adjustments without having to pause the game.

-pick/screen effectiveness gameplay sliders-similar to CH2k8
-dynamic broadcast cycle cameras similar to CH2k8. except let us set up our cameras
-the player drills from CH2k8 as well.

bring back the casual/default/arcade sim settings.

Im putting the following in bold because I think it would probably be one of the best additions to date if done correctly...

Stat modifiers for simulations and played games.

Doing this would be really great for sim stats because you'd just set the desired stat modifiers (see OOTP) for the league and then the simulated game stats would be adjusted to that with player ratings in mind. For example, setting the stat modifiers to reflect the most recent season and then sim stats would reflect that, making player ratings the only variable to stats at the end of the year.

What would make it even better is if you could calibrate game sliders to that, so for example if you set the league average 3pt% to 35.5 percent which it was for this past season, then 3pt%s in game would adjust to that. Obviously non tangible sliders like defense strength or speed would still be adjusted normally, but overall it would help tremendously with sim stats and would make slider testing a lot easier.

I just want simulated stats to be more realistic. I can't for the life of me get LaVine to average more than 20 points a game. Even setting him at 40 minutes a game, primary scorer, and play through star scheme, he doesn't average more than 20-22 a season.

As a mostly “offline” player, one big feature I want is a league reset MyLeague option. The historical draft classes, especially with the community completing the majority of the classes for realism, was a fantastic feature, but nothing kills the idea of starting a game in the 70s when rookie Kareem scores his first basket and it says he’s the league all-time leading scorer or MJ having to use a different number on the Bulls because 23 is retired.

I would love the historical MyLeague option where we could choose the game start year, starting teams, maybe an option where you can select when new teams join the league, and most of all: add the ability to reset the record book, team championships, and retired jerseys! This would be a game changer for me and I believe many other single player fans.

Just in case it can be done, I wanted to add this:

Maybe my #1 priority for MyLeague would be to make rosters, settings, and most importantly, draft classes, cross-platform downloads.

I've never sunk as many hours into 2K as I did when I had the SimWorld rosters/draft classes to play with and would love to get back to that someday.

Okay, first and foremost, can we please have a "force-win" feature?

Im using the SimWorld project trying to go through the season making sure each game of the season has the accurate for 100% accurate standings, and it is taking FOREVER. With a force-win feature, the chronology would take maybe 5 hours and have 100% accurate standings, but without that feature this is going to take at least 20-40 hours.

I'd like the ability to edit the year in ML. I'm playing a 2002-2003 ML and I got Sacramento their lost title. I'm using the 2K historical class with LeBron. Now its 2020. I'd just like the ability to edit the year (not days, it can be the same 2019 dates) to 2002 at the start of the ML and have the stats scale to that. The preceding years on players stats would change to 2002, 2001, 2000, 1999, etc.

I need help badly. Running a myleague online, removed some inactive users now I can’t invite anyone to fill the only open team in league.error code: 183d7094 . No matter how many invites I’ve sent no one can join and I’m stuck at 29 users, I really hope there’s a way to fix this, I’m not trying. To remake we had a successful draft with no glitch until this happened smh.

I really think this is a prime example that the whole MLO community’s is tiredness of this broken, game mode and we’d be willing to spend VC for a mode that actually works and the developers actually put it out without any bugs/glitches. It’s literally the only game mode they neglect this bad. Win win situation, they make money off the mode and we finally are able to play a MLO that’s actually works since like 2k12
