Staff retention policy slider + more coaches stats like years experience, record, communication style that influence hiring, along with traits badges and play style vs personel being more of an influence in hiring decisions. Having more real coaches would be more fun ofc.

Staff firing should be more forgiving towards first year coaches on tanking teams for example.

To have it right there needs to be under/overachieving mechanic and new team status "competing" (playoff contender or rebuilding team in playoff conversation) for teams in the middle of the pack. Not every team that's not a championship contender is immediately a rebuilding team next season, building a champion team takes time and this progress should be emulated for cpu and user. Teams going trough levels naturally would greatly immerse the gameplay trough few seasons.

Right now in my game having Nets 3rd, Cavs 4th both in rebuilding where they should think "competing/overachieving" would work towards them "trusting" their roster not drafting pg trading Russell next off-season, but rather build on it and higher expectations a bit (buying team next season). Pacers at 13th (since "selling" would rather be "buying/underachieving" and remain buying at the start of next season only going into rebuild/selling if another season fails and being middle of the playoff pack would go "competing/in stride" that would go into "buying" on the off-season not full rebuild because they didn't hit finals with 28 yr old oladipo).

Also, I don't feel playoff result plays a big part in team statuses/decisions. I had season with 2nd year rebuilding Kings, hit 1st round 4-0 out from Rockets, yet next season team is "rebuilding" where "competing/in stride" (go into buying perhaps in season if not heavily underachieving goal of playoffs or going 2nd round and only selling if heavily underachieving). Improving this building process (TRUST THE PROCESS) should work into being the main roster/staff decisions driver.

Some sliders settings and a neat trick make for some beautiful teams and seasons (will post) but the sim engine still needs much work. I feel player badges are not properly accounted for in sim engine and roster decisions too.

Hope it's not too late for devs to consider this approach with team statuses.

I wish they would keep track of banners in the areas when a championship is won. We should be able to see and hear them talk about Them team and players winning a championship the next season...And be able to look up in the areas and see 2020 champions or whatever year on a banner for any teams thats won a championship..Right now its killing the game bekause you dnt feel like you accomplish anything as you win it all..It should record in My League and in My GM

This is a simple thing that probably doesn't bother most people but is a killer for us Dynasty guys, this year you have to take multiple screenshots to show things like box scores and standings. In the past, they would always fit on one or two screenshots but it changed for the worse this year. If 2K20 could have everything one one screen as much as possible that would be great.

definitely! it is so annoying. instead of 6 Screenshots we now need 12 per game!

More Black cheerleaders for cities like Houston, DC, Atlanta, Miami. It is just strange to see that lack of diversity. My wife was talking about it.

i only want them to fix all the settings. make everything work There. Matchups are Not working, Controller settings are Not working, Coach settings are Not working. they always revert back to normal. this Bug exists for 4 years and is so annoying....

I'd like the ability to edit staff positions. I'm in my 3rd off season and the Heat are in full rebuild. I wanted to make Spoeltra the GM, but he doesn't want to be anything but a head coach. I get that, but there are more real retired players (Dirk, VC) coming back to the game and I want to make some of them front office guys.

Also we need more player halftime talks recored and some for Genarated players as we move later in years so other player start to become stars in there own right...As is its catering to only a few players in game. Do some Voice overs for the Genterated players that is coming into the league to make it more realistic.

More halftime talks for all players and all coaches. For generated players jut choose a random talk to play that fits the situation.

Will people care some generated star players sound different? Maybe a bit, but not a lot for it to really matter.

I'm sure it's been covered, but I can't believe that we don't have a better progression/regression/salary model for Myleague, as you work your way beyond five years. I play the game solely for this mode and while this is the best franchise mode out there, they should be able to clean this up.

They need to take a page from the GM computer sims out there (OOTP, Front Office Football, etc) when it comes to realistic and BALANCED progression/regression down the line. Those sims last 20+ years and never 'break'.

2K always busts when you get beyond five years. Very disappointing.

To be able to choose the default jerseys (home/away/alternate) of a team among the old ones.

If, by example, I want to add a 90's vibe to Myleague, or if I can't f****n' stand these new ads on jerseys (but without changing the arenas and also losing many other details like city related cutscenes or pregame warm up hoodies), I could select former jerseys already presents in game (like Charles Barkley era Sun's uniforms or pinstripes Hornets jerseys by example... ), but set as primary jersey.

What about using the WWE creating tool to create logos... so take the generic logo and add the city location on the logo. On WWE you can create a show logo while using their old show logos, we should be able to do so in NBA. Let us create or add stuff to the court using the creating tool from WWE, imagine using that tool with embossing on the jersey to make them look more authentic. Also add a ticker bar to the game while Im playing in season game would love to know what's going on around the league. Again a ticker bar in game and something like the show did with updating us after games were over for the day.

Aside from progression being jacked because of how rookies are generated. Which should be able to be fixed NOW actually since its roster releated. Have offline modes for Mycareer. Not everyone can play online all the time. Not everyone WANTS to even play online. Other thing is actually have some immersion with your staff. Give us sim people, yes there are a lot of us out there, a reason to play the game and not feel like a red headed step child chained under the stairs.

1st season of my gm your scout would come up and give the same old script but after that, the only time you see him is when he recommends one person to draft and that is tied to a goal.

Need more things during the season for scouting. For example, have him bring up some possible sleepers or guys to stay away from. Have your scout come to you with his own draft board that he updates during the season. Even working with your head coach on possible players to aquire during the season that would fit your teams scheme. ( thats another thing. fix the playbooks )

Same with the other members. Have the assistant GM bring up contracts, suggest who could be cut, traded, possibly signed based on contracts. Even during negotiations, a "suggest" option would be good.

What about game plan? Once in a blue moon we got a spot of "we are facing so and so and have to game plan". Thats about it, no suggestions on HOW to game plan for them or what. Maybe spots where the coach suggests new plays, even new players in the offseason based on the scheme he runs.

CFO could have you doing commercials or radio interviews. Spots where you can choose which players to use in a commercial, stuff like that.

As of right now, I have zero intention of buying 2k20. If its a VC micro transactions riddled game with parts game being neutered because you aren't online or is set up to be an immense grind ( so you say screw it and get vc to bypass it ) then the game is off my list.

Oh another thing, a roster editor. One that allows for MASS edits with a minimal UI. So roster creators can actual put out decent rosters ( they do already ) but without the expense of 1000s of hours of work bc they have to individual edit player screens to do so.

Man I just want the mode to not have game breaking bugs. That in and of itself would be enough for me. Just take the features that the mode currently has and get them all working properly.


The Injury History feature is awesome but it does not work. I can't actually see anyone's injury history beyond their current injury....


Player Mentorship is amazing and gives old vets a reason to have contracts beyond their overall rating prime. I'm not 100% sure it works though? Never seen any young players develop badges from it.


Stat tracking is jacked up this year. Would love if this was actually fixed in the next patch honestly.

New feature: Touches



Take the Shot Tendency and Touches Tendency and the Sim Point of Emphasis 1st 2nd and 3rd Scoring Options and remove them.


Replace it with a coaching strategy that lets each team define how many touches each player will get in a game.


This strategy would be like setting minutes. You set who you want taking shots.


I mean yes it's true that Bismack Biyombo doesn't look to score but if a coach said to his team "Strategy is to feed Biyombo" he would get buckets. Team would probably lose often, but his shot attempts would be high.


Now when you're feeding Bismack, you can't also feed Kemba Walker. That's why touches should work like minutes.

Bla bla and now there's 30% left to split up amongst the rest of the roster.



This would be set in advance but actual results would vary based on actually minutes played in each game.

Honestly ALL I WANT is a playable G-League again (or at least full g-league rosters for each team), the offseason in calendar format instead of checklist format, full training camp, and preseason games.

THATS IT.
