MyLeague Customization and Design
MyLeague court and uniform customization need a major overhaul. It is been the same since 2K16. 2K needs to allow users to put images under the basket instead of text, adjust the center court image instead of being locked at a 1:1 ratio, and have the capability to put more images on the court. For instance, you cannot create a majority of the college courts because of limitations set by 2K. Plus, if a user wants to create a high school or college league, there should an option to change to one of those styles. For this to work, a downloadable .PSD template woud be the best solution.

For uniforms, since Nike is the jersey provider for the NBA, I would like to see some Nike style fonts in the game. The number of fonts to choose from has gone down each year and in 2K19, some of the number fonts were glitched. You could not change the first outline color and only one font had more than one outline. When applying these numbers to the jersey, the numbers also looked dull when selecting a primary color. To fix this, 2K needs to add an RGB color slider or an HTML color code program to allow users to enter the precise team color instead of having to fidget around a color wheel. Plus, the jersey name font is tied to the number font. This should be separate. Once the uniforms are created, players should also be given the option to edit warmup jerseys, crowd shirts, blimps, cheerleaders, etc.

Lastly, a feature is needed to automatically flip designs to the other side. Gran Turismo Sport has a cool feature that allows a user to duplicate the design on reverse and it would automatically adjust the design to the opposite side of the car. Implementing a similar tool would save designers a lot of time instead of having to write down the exact move, scale, and rotation values. With this feature, 2K should increase their image limit to 20 and allow users to add logos to collars. In all, this would give designers more flexibility and allow them to be more creative with jersey and court designs.

There should be an editable ambition value that decides if a player will go down the scout, assistant coach/coach, GM, Owner, all of the above, or none of the above paths upon retirement.

Im putting the following in bold because I think it would probably be one of the best additions to date if done correctly...

Stat modifiers for simulations and played games.

Doing this would be really great for sim stats because you'd just set the desired stat modifiers (see OOTP) for the league and then the simulated game stats would be adjusted to that with player ratings in mind. For example, setting the stat modifiers to reflect the most recent season and then sim stats would reflect that, making player ratings the only variable to stats at the end of the year.

What would make it even better is if you could calibrate game sliders to that, so for example if you set the league average 3pt% to 35.5 percent which it was for this past season, then 3pt%s in game would adjust to that. Obviously non tangible sliders like defense strength or speed would still be adjusted normally, but overall it would help tremendously with sim stats and would make slider testing a lot easier.

This is a fantastic idea!! Please someone at the Dev team please see this sim stats have been a issue for years need to get this fixed

- Draft Picks as part of roster file so they can be updated/customized and imported into ML and MyGM

- Better functioning computer generated draft classes that don't "break" our MyLeagues and MyGMs... Like Madden's draft classes

- Ability to use Player DNA (at least appearances) for coaches

- Some sort of add-on (i.e. GTA Online) for the die-hard ML and MyGM players. I would pay for additional/online access to an authentic, well developed.

While things have improved over the years, I feel like ML and MyGM have never been given the amount of attention die-hards would like it to get. For example, if we are able to play DODGEBALL in "The Neighborhood", MyGM should have some functioning, computer-generated draft classes and the Two-Way contract player bug fixed.

Looking forward to 2K20 though. Expecting big things! #GoLakers

I wish they would separate the all-time teams courts from the current teams, and have it so when you download team designs for example the Buffalo Braves for an expansion team. I would like to use the all-time Clippers since they are were the braves came from but if you do, the court changes for the current Clippers as well. This doesn't happen for historic rosters but the Clippers don't have an historic roster. I'm good with others like the Royals, Huskies and Bobcats, but the Braves and Bullets are an issue. It's not a big deal it's just a little annoying.

it would be great if that feature that we had years ago, I mean a Web for online leagues where we could check stats, even live boxscores, manage some stuff for the league and adding the ability to download data in an excel sheet....

wouldn't that be dope? ;-)

I will buy 2k20 if the 2K devs are able to fix the draft class glitches.

If they don't fix them, I will personally just keep 2k19.

This first year was a step in the right direction for MyLeague players, but there are major glitches with the draft classes:

- Age Glitch: 2k fixed this one. Pretty wild that the game shipped with this problem though. Every time you edited a draft class, all the players' ages would drop by one year. Players would be 1 year old, -15 years old, the whole bit. It was a hilariously bad glitch. Glad 2k fixed this one.

- PLAYER DNA / YEARS PRO: They haven't fixed this one yet though. It seems like this would be an easy fix. Players enter the league with the same experience level of their "Player DNA". So the 2011 draft comes in with 7 years experience, etc. This totally ruins the ASG Rookie game/ the rookie of the year award, and effects players' development and eventual decline and retirement.

When a draft class is imported into a MyLeague, the game should auto reset all players' "Years Pro" rating. We can do this manually, but it's massively time consuming because for whatever reason, "Years Pro" is one of the few things not included in the Quick Edit menus.

That's not even getting into the fact that the draft classes have like, 4-5 players in a lot of them. I would love to see more players in the classes, but at the end of the day the 2k community is so awesome and creative that it doesn't matter.

I would love to be able to reset league records / pick a starting year the way you can in most PC sim games such as Franchise Hockey Manager and Baseball Mogul. But that's not the end of the world.

Draft classes are the big one. It just seemed like every time you tried to do anything with the draft classes in 2k19, there were a dozen new obstacles. If they fix the glitchy-*** Draft Classes, I will happily get the new game. If 2K doesn't touch the draft class glitches and it will just be the same experience anyway, I'll keep 2k19 .

Improved coaching and GM A.I..
1. Coaching: please fix the A.I. to make substitutions and lineups that make sense. Just because Ben Simmons is a PG doesn’t mean the A.I. should assign a 6’2” PG to defend him. Defensive assignments should pertain to size.

2. GM: A.I. drafts should probably focus on best player in lottery and then roles later. Also the A.I. free agency choices should have some strategy for a team build not just ratings.

This is probably hard to do but an algorithm that looks at stars abilities and then pursues based on there skills would be a start.

For the expansion teams, why does the crowd only wear white tshirts in the playoffs? I remember in 2k17 the crowd would wear different colors based off the team colors. There should be an option for us to choose which colors they should wear during the playoffs.

I also noticed that there is no pregame introductions, empty seats near the head table, no ending ceremonies and such for the expansion teams as well. I believe that the expansion teams should be treated exactly the same as the official teams if that makes sense. Also give us the ability to have warmups, and mascots(should be a preset of options where we should at least be able to change the color.

There should be more than 3 Jersey slots(alt doesnt even work) for the custom teams. There also needs to be an option that let's us add patterns to to the court. Even take it a step further where we can choose and customize existing arenas and even change the lighting!

Im sure most of this has been said already. However, Myleague is almost perfect for me, there's just a few things that need to be added and fixed, and I honestly think it can be done!

YEAR TO YEAR SAVES!!!!

The last time i’ve played this game pass December of any year was 2k16. This is due in part that I cant find myself getting invested in a my league after this feature was introduce for mlb the show. It is so much fun to develop players and actually watch them blossom. Majority of people dont want to restart a my league every single year. We like to watch progress.

This feature along with CAP facescan options will do wonders for us my league players.

Also... Would definitely be nice if we can get more customizable options for our teams such as arena music and chants or choice of crowd playoff gear

For those of us that like to keep current with the NBA for realism I would like a option in your season where you could import a real life box score from NBA today.

It’s real time consuming simulating trying to get close to the real stats and scores as possible so it would be a awesome feature where we could import a score for a game that already happened on that date so we get the correct stats,shots,points scored etc think that would be a game changer for guys like us who like to keep our my leagues as realistic as possible.

Even sliders for sim games where could measure 3pt percentage field goal percentage and free throws would be key we need more options when simulating game sliders would be awesome

Please no questions, as I won't likely have time to respond and don't want to have to weed through a bunch of Q & A to get to the new feature ideas.

We're trying to finalize stuff earlier this year, so please post any requests you have sooner rather than later. Anything posted after the end of October probably won't be noticed.

I think one great feature that should be added is the myleague online CO-OP!!!?? that way we can play with friends and family on the same team!! instead of being on the blacktop or three-on-three it will be playing for the championship, as we will have full control over the league just like the regular mode, we can create our players or take over NBA stars, have someone appointed the commissioner (who can control simulating games and changing gameplay sliders and etc). Even have more than one commissioner if needed in case we want to play and some friends are not available... But this feature would be so fun as we can communicate team moves or trades that need to be made. Also add a player lock (if not already applicable) so if we choose to stay with our players during the game we can.!!! PLEASE READ THIS POST LOL!! THIS FEATURE WOULD BE GREAT AND ALSO SOMETHING THE OTHER GAMES DIDN'T HAVE!!!! PLEASE ADD THIS FEATURE 😁😁
