THe first quarter was a good feel out quarter for both teams. Both teams took turns with the lead but never really got ahead by more than 3. Bulls limited the Cavs to 45% shooting in the quarter and they come out on top 25-22.

IN the second quarter, LeBron led a charge that had the Cavs up by 8 midway. THe Bulls however rallied right back, with increased intensity on defense, getting on the passing lanes and reclaimed the lead by 5. LeBron conitnued his hot 2nd Q and got the Cavs to within 56-52

Jordan led all scorers with 20 at the half. LeBron not far with 18.

THe Bulls continued their defensive intensity, to keep the Cavs at bay, leading by as much as 8. JR Smith and Kyrie had a scrappy 3rd quarter to keep the lead manageable. A late burst from LeBron helped eat away on the lead and the Cavs reclaimed the lead after a 3 pointer from Dellavedova with 2 mins to go. Kukoc then closed out the quarter with a 3 pointer of his own to bring the Bulls back up 92-90 going into the 4th quarter.
The 4th quarter started with a 3-pt play from LeBron, and that started an intense back and forth between the two team. The 2 stars tried to push their teams ahead, with the Bulls leading for most of the quarter. Bulls were up by 5 with 2 mins to go, when Jordan passed the ball out of a double team to an open Pippen who would hit the 3rd of his 3 pointers in the second half, this one being the biggest as it pushed the lead up to 8. After LeBron drove and dunked the ball to cut it to 6, Jordan answered on the other end with a 3 pt play. THat would be the dagger, and the Bulls get the W, 125-115.

POG: Michael Jordan 45 pts 10 assts 2 stls. Pippen added 25 pts and 6 assts. Harper had a solid 19 pts, Rodman had 15 rebs.

LeBron finished 36 pts, 7 rebs, 7 assts, 1 stl, 2 blks. Kyrie had 24 pts, 7 assts while JR Smith also added 21.

The Heat had a very busy first quarter offensively. Shots were falling for Lebron and Wade and they facilitated the offense very well. They managed a 7 pt lead midway. Once they say Wade and Bron in the first though, Jordan and the Bulls took advantage. THey come out on top 28-26 after one.

As the 2nd quarter started, Jordan continued to push the action. As LBJ and Wade came back, so did their offense and defensive intensity. It was a defensive quarter until Jordan went on a roll, including a switching hands layup against Bosh, which kept the Bulls up by nine, 54-45 going into halftime.

Jordan led all scorers with 24 at the half. Lebron had 16.

Lebron came out of the half aggressive, scoring 13 third wuarter points to help the Heat take the lead The Bulls would fight back behind MJ, but Lebron didnt take a rest til late, and he helped the heat grab the lead with a huge breakaway slam. Its the Heat up by one, 76-75, going into the fourth quarter.

In the fourth unit, it was the Bulls bench that set the tone. Pippen led a second unit that kept CHicago up, until JOrdan came back to play. At that point, Jordan then took over to close them out. Lead was 10 with 3 mins to go. Lebron and the Heat tried to rally to birng them to within 6, but Jordan made some key plays that stopped their momentum, and so the Bulls go on to win 107-97.

Jordan finished with 46 pts, 3 rebs, 7 assts, 5 stls and 2 blks. Kukoc was the next high man with 14. Pippen struggled in his matchup with Lebron, and managed only 12. ROdman had 12 rebs and dished out 10 assts.

LeBron led the Heat with 35 pts, 6 rebs 5 assts. Wade managed only 17 pts versus MJ, but did dish out 10 assts. Bosh had 12 pts 11 rebs.

It was a highly defensive game to start, with the Celtics being held to 14 pts in the period. CHicago did not fair any much better, and led Boston 18-14 after one quarter.

The second quarter continued to be a low scoring affair. Boston got the better of Chicago to lead the Bulls 39-36 at the half.

Both teams shot poorly in the half. Boston was just 36% from the field, Chicago 41%.

In the third quarter, the Celtics increased the lead to 5, before the Bulls go on a 18-6 run to end the quarter and go up on Boston 65-58 heading into the final quarter.

In the 4th quarter, the Bulls would hone in on their execution and led by double digits in certain points in the period. But the home team would not let them run away with it just yet. It was a 6 pt lead with little over 1 monute left, before Michael Jordan scored on a fadeaway on the post to up it to 8, and then an alley-oop from Pippen on the next play to seal the deal. He would further put the nail in the coffin with a 3-pointer with 32 secs to go.

Bull win it in the 4th, 91-78.

POG: Jordan with 39 pts 11 asts 4 rebs 3 stls. Pippen added 19 pts 6 rebs 3 assts 1 stl 2 blks.

Garnett led Boston with 26 pts 14 rebs. Pierce struggled from the field, 6/19 to finish with 14 pts.

LOS ANGELES -- In one of their best defensive games of the year, the '96 Bulls was able to shut down the Mighty Lakers of Shaq and Kobe to come up with this impressive win.

Defensive tone was set right at the onset. Bulls limited the Lakers to 19 pts on 33% shooting, and led by seven 26-19. THeir momentum defensively and offensively continued into the 2nd quarter. Pippen led the Bulls with 12 in the period, and all around controlling the game. Bulls lead in the double digits, and are up 55-43 at the half.

In the third and fourth quarter, the Bulls continued to run away from the Lakers. ThHeir bench came in and added to the lead, balloning to over 20 by the end of the 4th. Pippen then continued to pile it on in the 4th and the Bulls just demolish the 2001 Champs, winning 119-85.

POG: Scottie Pippen. He filled the stat sheets 36 pts 6 rebs 12 assts, 3 stls, 2 blks. Jordan had 30 pts, 8 rebs. Rodman grabbed 16 rebounds.

Kobe finished with 20 pts 8 rebs on 10/28 shooting. Shaq ended up with 16 pts 10 rebs but only 13 attempts.

George McGinnis was POG with 28 pts 19 rebs. Dr J added 21 pts, 8 rebs and 4 blocks.

Rodman pulled down 20 rebs in this game. Jordan led 5 players in double figures for the Bulls, with 42 pts 8 rebs 11 assts, 3 stls. Pippen struggled with 16 pts but pulled down 5 rebs and dished out 9 assists.

This game actually was closer than expected. The Bulls struggled in the first half, but made it a contest in the second.

Still, it took clutch fadeaway and a steal and breakaway dunk by Michael Jordan on the final minutes to beat these Jazz.

POG: Karl Malone with 22 pts 12 Rebs. Hornacek added 17.

Jordan had 36 pts 7 rebs 8 assts 2 stls. Pippen, who took advantage of match up with Hornacek, added 27 pts.

HOUSTON -- The '96 Bulls had no answers for Olajuwon who poured in another monster game. The Rockets, however, had no answers for Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen too.

The Rockets came out strong and came out leading by 8 early on, but Bulls would go on e a 12-2 run to catch up to them. Bulls come out on top 30-26 after one.

The Bulls bench led by Kukoc, dominated the Rockets in the 2nd quarter, especially while Hakeem was sitting down. The Bulls lead balloons to 18 going into the half, 62-44.

Jordan already had 24 pts at the break. Olajuwon had 13 with 9 rebs.

In the third quarter, Olajuwon led the home team back into the game. Rockets defense also tunred up a notch, forcing tunrovers and going on the break. They cut the lead to single digits by the end of the 3rd, 87-78.

THe fourth quarter again showcased the Bulls advantage on the Bench. Steve Kerr and Toni Kukoc led a perimeter attack and the Rockets were not able to challenge. Bulls take the W, 112-101.

Jordan was POG. He finished with 32 pts, 4 rebs, 9 assts , 2 stls. Pippen also got the better of his matchups to finish with 28 pts, 5 rebs 6 assts and 3 stls. Kukoc led the Bulls bench with 16 pts while Kerr added 13.

Olajuwon had another huge game against the Bulls with 37 pts and 25 rebs, 6 on the offensive glass. He did not have much support as the Rockets bench got outscored by the Bulls bench, 34-17.

The Lakers had a good start in the first, leading by as much as 8. Magic was aggressive, despite pesky defense by Scottie Pippen. The lead is 6 after one, 26-20.

The Bulls got back quickly in the 2nd quarter as their second unit outplayed their Lakers counterpart. THey took a lead after a 3 from Buechler with over 8 minutes remaining. The Lakers starters slowly came back to help take back the lead. The rest of the way was close, and the Bulls go up by 1 going into the half, 51-50.

Chicago came out firing in the 3rd making 5 straight FG's to grow the lead into double digits. Jordan had a monster quarter, scoring 20 pts in the period, while also finding open teammates for also hit their shots. Bulls shoot 85% from the field, go up by 14, 89-75 headed into the 4th.

Magic Johnson tried to rally the Lakers back into this game, cutting the lead into single digits multiple times. But the Bulls offense was in full gear, and their passing game and perimeter shots were working. Bulls win again, 113-102.

Michael Jordan again outplayed Magic Johnson here, outshooting and outassisting him with 39 pts and 14 assts, also had 5 stls and 1 blk. Pippen added 18 and Kukoc 17.

Magic finished with 22 pts 6 rebs and 9 assists, 3 steals. He struggled shooting the ball, was 10/21. James Worthy added 20 pts. Kareem was a nonfactor with 12 pts and 8 rebs.

Playing in front of their home crowd, the Clippers were energized to begin this game, already leading by double digits in the first period, 32-22. In the second quarter the Bulls started to come back to within single digits but the CLippers would rally towards a huge 18 pts lead at the half - 68-50.

Blake was having a career game against the Bulls with 29 pts at the half. Michael Jordan had 21 of his own.

The Bulls would show their championship mettle in the second half, however. Unfazed by the huge 18 pts deficit, Jordan and the Bulls would be huge, eventually tying the game just halfway thru the 3rd. The Home team would continue their strong play going into the 4th, Lead by 6, 94-88 going into the 4th quarter.

The Bulls would continue to show the heart of a champion in the fourth quarter. Despite falling behind by 10, the Bulls would fight back to claim the lead for the first time 108-107 with just 1:59 minutes to go. It was the team who made the key plays in the last 2 minutes that would come away with the victory.

Blake tied a career-high with 50 pts while adding 11 rebs 6 assts. DeAndre Jordan would be a force inside hauling down 22 rebounds. Paul added 14 pts 5 assts 3 stls.

Jordan had 49 pts in this game along with 9 assts and 6 stls. Pippen struggled with 14 pts.

Bulls jumped out early on the Sixers, leading by as much as 14 early on. Jordan had a brilliant quarter, scoring 12, including a dunk right at the grill of Daryl Dawkins. Its the Bulls up 30-18 after one. In the second quarter, the Sixers toughened up their D, and McGinnis went to work, to make it close. The Bulls hang on to a 4-pt lead going into the half, 52-48.

Jordan had 19 pts at the half. McGinnis led the Sixers with 14

In the 3rd period, the Bulls would go up again by double digits. The Sixers, however, would end the quarter on a 19-4 run, behind continued strong play by George McGinnis and Julius Erving. They grab the upper hand going into the 4th quarter 77-76.

In the 4th quarter, the Sixers looked to upset the Bulls leading by 6 with about 5 minutes to go. The Bulls slowly chipped away at the lead though while holding the Sixers scoreless over the last 4 minutes. Bulls end the game on a 13-0 run and take the win, 99-90.

Jordan finished the game with 37 pts, 9 assts, 5 stls. Pippen added 19 pts 8 rebs 9 assts. George McGinnis earned POG honors with 28 pts, 13 rebs. Dr J contributed 24 pts and 7 rebs.

In the first quarter, the Bulls defense was stiffling, limiting the Bucks to just 16 pts. They lead by 6, 22-16 after one. In the second quarter, Kareem started to exert his dominance, and led the Bucks back in the game. A 3-pointer at the buzzer by Oscar Robertson pushed the Bucks ahead by 1 going in to the half.

Kareem already had 17 pts and 15 rebs at the half alone. Pippen led the Bulls with 13.

In the 3rd quarter, Michael Jordan had a great one, starting off with a facial on Kareem, plus a steal and dunk on the next play. Oscar Robertson had a strong play on the other hand. However, Jordan wont be denied, scoring 12 pts in the period to keep the Bulls up by 6 going in to the 4th, 75-69.

In the 4th quarter, Robertson and Jabbar kept it close midway, tying the game, until JOrdan went on a roll and dominated offensively. Still the Bucks were able to cut it to 4 with 39 secs to go. Bulls were able to make some key plays down the stretch, and secure the W, 103-99.

Jordan finished with 36 pts and 9 assts. Pippen added 27.

Jabbar would finish the game with 29 pts and 21 rebs, 4 blks. The Big O had a strong second half and finished with 27 pts 6 rebs 4 assts.

MINNESOTA -- Kevin Garnett and the Minnesota Timberwolves face the '96Chicago Bulls in their last game of the season.

The Chicago Bulls, however were in their tiptop playoff form and dominated the Timberwolves in this game. THey win big 111-79.

Pippen was POG: 31 pts, 13 assts, 8 rebs. Jordan added 38 pts and 7 assts, 3 stls.

Garnett finished with 23 pts 17 rebs 5 assts. The next highest scorer was Hoiberg though with 10.

The Bulls started the 1st quarter HOT, scoring the first 12 pts, for an early 12-0 advantage. Jordan and the Bulls were active on D and went on the break. THe Bulls would lead by as much as 13. Larry Bird started to catch fire towards the end scoring 7 straight points while the Bulls got cold, Bulls lead to 6, 30-24 after one.

The Bulls second unit outplayed the Celtics second unit in the 2nd quarter as the Bulls lead grow again to double digits. Scottie Pippen led the Bulls and they conitnued their momentum to go up by 17 going in to the half.

In the 3rd quarter, the Bulls continued to have a solid game, growing the lead by as much as 19. The Celtics did, however, start to find success in the inside to keep it from getting out of hand. Jordan, who started the quarter cold, scored 9 late points, and kept the Bulls up by 15, 80-65, going in to the 4th.

In the 4th, the Bulld led by as much as 22, but the Celtics tried to fight back, cutting it to 10 with a 3-pt play from Larry Bird with over 5 mins to go. Later on would cut it to 9 on a jumper from Dennis Johnson. But the Bulls would execute good enough down the stretch, including a sweet alley-oop from Pippen to Jordan on the next play.

The Bulls take Game 1, 100-86.

POG: Michael Jordan. 34 pts 4 rebs 6 assts 2 stls 1 blk. Pippen added 17 pts. Rodman pulled down 22 rebs, 4 on the offensive end.

The Bulls defense was fantastic in this game. They forced the Celtics into 37% FG shooting, to go along with 10 steals and 2 blks.
