Oh I read clearly what you said but the problem is, youre trying to make a point from a statement without using context.

Anyone can shoot a 86% from 3 if you're playing against people that can't defend. Sounds like you might need that link I gave to the kid in the previous post.

Nobody shoots above 50% from 3 vs me and that's because I know how to defend.

You better learn how to play the game youngin and quit worrying about me on this thread. I'm not ya problem. It's those people that keep beating ya tail in quick match.

Not a chance. The best shooters in the world might get near that on an empty court. Even with some bad defense and the movement of an actual basketball game, nobody is getting near that.

Its only acceptable when its me in real life. I can feel a perfect release. If I stretch my arm and follow through i am at about 77.3 percent from the international line. I dont get your issue with my robotic release Mike.

Ah the ole' passive aggressive -you're a kid- comments. God you are such a parody. KSutton is probably your father and just bought you 2k17 as your first 2k game for your 12th bday given that your name is Grandbadge. See, I can do it too. Where did we get?

My whole point that I made twice and you ignored was context wasn't even necessary due to how outlandish it is to shoot over 80% from 3 over 100 or more games no matter who you are playing. But i guess since you've never so much as called "next" at your local Y or LA fitness, you won't grasp that no matter how I put it for you.

I promise I'm not going to respond anymore so save your typing. I'm already mad I baited myself into this nonsense again with you and I got the answer I was looking for out of you. Yes, you think it's acceptable for someone to shoot over 80% from 3 over a substantial sample size of games.
So that's already more than I got from you last time you made your patented leaps to "yOu DiSaGRee wit Me sO yOu musT nOt KnO hOw tO pLaY" attacks and then I asked you a couple simple questions. Despite you knowing so much as the greatest 2k player ever you ignored them as I must not be worthy of your infinite knowledge. Truly the Grandbadge amongst us lowly MyLeague peasents.

the whole point I was making was that the fact badges drop my ratings and badges makes ZERO sense.

I used the floater as an example to show you how badly the badges actually work - not saying that I regularly go for floaters on the fast break, especially with a LDD behind me.

How about the more realistic example of:

being in the paint and trying to go for a dunk on a sharpshooter, but because a LDD is on the court, you go for a slow weak layup that gets blocked or misses.

Try and justify how a badge should affect a players ability to do routine, smart basketball plays when the defender with the actual badge isn't even directly involved in the play.

                  I'll wait.
you do know that your example has everything to do with rim protector and not defense stopper right?

not to mention that those badges are doing what they are programmed to do.

what may seem like a routine smart basketball play with steph curry underneath the basked might not be a smart routine play with gobert defending the paint.

also yes a guy like gobert will make opponents aware on where he is on the field when they decide to attack the basket even when he is not directly involved in the play.
and he sure as hell will affect pretty much anyone when he comes over with the help defense to help that poor lonely sharp.

few players in the nba can disregard everyone and do whatever they want with reckless abandon......

"#NBA2K20 We're also (finally) heavily nerfing the impact of a defender when he/she is at a height mismatch when contesting at the rim. Apologies this took so long to get in."

I can get behind this on both sides. Spamming blocks without repercussions were annoying last 2k.

I like that. If I have a 4+ inch advantage, the shorter defender should not be able to affect my shot like that. Vice versa if I have my defense SG build, my impact on contested shots against elitle PFs/Cs shouldn't be as strong

"Blow by frequency is much different in the final game than it was at Community Day, and even the demo. I'm happy with where it is right now, but it's easy to tweak if the community feels like there are too many or too few once you all get in the lab."

"Pogo stick will help you get back up to challenge another shot quicker when you bite early, but it won't change the fact that your impact will drop if you're on the way down. Good block timing is still important whether you have this badge or not."

" Tried to make them more skill-based this year. Bump steals definitely nerfed."
