The problem right now is you wont take the time to set up your plays to be on the front end.

You can literally set and play for any player you want to and call it just like you did in the past, but you just refuse.

I am actually a fan of the change. To have 8 plays to set anyway you want is good business. My only complaint is that extra button push for the pnr. But i can add a pnr play for whoever so its all good. I am in the minority but i like the new way better.

Who has time for that in an online match when you're also making defensive changes. And not to mention you get disconnected after doing all of that. Yeah man not the greatest of roll out. The play calling should of stayed the same. With this new feature being a secondary thing. Keeping the format the same. But adding a feature for play calling. And don't think I've haven't tried man.

Yeah it was brought up about online early on by NYCDaFuture, but i dont know what the solutions are other than what we have.

As far as what it shouldve stayed as, when changes are made, you dont know what has to be changed over and what can stay to make things functional.

As we know Czar is away right now so i cant address anything with him at the moment. Eventually we'll get to it.

What's the correlation with Capela having 34 rebounds and Rockets attempting 119 Field Goal Attempts in NBA 2k20 ? Those numbers are both unrealistic compared to real nba NOW, not 10 years ago

DAY1 version of the game was a pure Classic, one of the best maybe just the best of of all basketball video games genre. BUT;

But after loads of in game tune updates(You know those basketball loads up etc, they change the gameplay a lot from there.) and endlessly big patches in just only 1 week after game is released, this game is going DOWNHILL faster and faster, gameplay has regressed and murdered in terms of speed, footplanting, clipping, players weight. It's much lighter, much faster and more hectic than ever before.

Twitter Mike is on a mission to kill the game just like he did with 2k17. I can see it, i can feel it.

My impressions are based on solely Play Now Offline NBA/WNBA, MyLeague, 2KU and Blacktop on default All Star/Superstar difficulty.

So i change my word on this thread in which i implied 'this game is a classic'. NO IT IS NOT and it's not even a solid basketball game at this state.

Man don't we watch the same scenario over and over again in recent years? Is that a surprise to you even ?

On a random note, I wouldn't mind if they got rid of the layup meter altogether. It's not intuitive IMO.

Layup animations have been drawn out to compensate for it, and in some cases the game punishes you timing....

I see some of very early, smothered 96% going in; whereas pretty good timed ones missed and vice versa.

What I'm saying is that before Westbrook actually did it, I bet the majority of us (myself included) would have called it ridiculous if a player averaged a triple-double once (much less three straight seasons) during a 2K MyLeague that we played.

The only reason we don't consider it absurd right now is because it's actually been done. If Westbrook can average a triple-double three years in a row, why can't Capela grab 34 rebounds in one game?

I need to start capturing footage of some of the stuff I see the AI doing in this game. I see so many jaw-dropping moments. I get so caught up in instant replay that it takes me forever to finish a game lol. So many little intricacies that make this game dope!!

I play MyTeam offline (for the most part) and for all the hoopla surrounding it, this is the best they've done supplying quality content/rewards without having to spend real money this gen. Domination is actually pretty challenging this year in All Star, lol

The patch and the recent small update has made this game one of the best bball game I've played in a long time...I'm currently playing on all-star with sliders base on what I like and it is competitive and well balance...

2k don't touch gameplay it is in a good place right now. Defensive rotation is good, fouls are accurate and the overall CPU logic is very good!!!

Agreed, other than the stuttering issue that I’ve found a temporary fix for and with some slider adjustments I’m loving this game...... has the potential to be my fav 2k ever and I’m a huge fan of 2k basketball

One out of every five plays I'm complaining about something that I think is preposterous, but the other four are so good that I get like an endorphin rush the whole time I'm playing. Sliders I can do on my own to smooth out the rough edges, and I'll be golden when I get a roster with the tendencies on point.

Many here are too good to play on the level, but I agree that All-Star seems like it's balanced pretty well.

Did they remove any step over post/pivot moves on 2k20? There's alot of pump fake post /pivot moves from like the last 5 2ks that I cant seem to pull off on 2k20
