People who actually have the game, enjoy the game for their own reasons....which they are stating here. They are also pointing out their issues.

This thread is for impressions from people who have the game. You've clearly stated you don't. The irony is your're in here hunting for posts looking for reasons to type up your personal feelings about 2K, and commenting on other posters experience. This isn't the thread for it, and you've been warned about this before. Let's get back to impressions, please.

Well I check what people are telling about the game to make a decision about buying the game or not. I am looking for someone to tell me they actually did it this time, because i don't want to get frustrated again. Feeling let down by 2K... I play NBA 2K since 2K6, and maybe i was the biggest fan of the game, i bought every iteration of it until that one so don't come here and try to accuse me like i only look for negativity here. I am looking for detailed info about the game that's why i'm on this thread, i'm just saying, people should tell the negative parts of the game as well so we know it; not just the smallest things that they've done positively but tell the negative sides too. That's all. But guys like you are so defensive about the game. Are you working for 2k? No. I'm just saying be honest, you are a consumer, demand more from the game. 2K can do better, demand it. They are a monopoly, if they don't deliver the best basketball simulation experience, nobody will do it, it's our only choice

Maybe 2K didn’t want to deal with all the extra ratings like contested shots and moving shots and went the badge route. I can see the badges dealing with a lot of that stuff but there is no way it can be as accurate as it was before. Maybe 95% of the people don’t notice the difference but I would agree that it’s a step back in the ratings/sim department.

I do think the double team logic got updated. Not seeing it that much. Jokic got doubled in the post quite a bit in my last game but that is normal.

The user FT shooting slider is broken. You can set it at 0 and I don’t even know if there is much of a difference from 50. User FT shooting is still too easy on All star imo. If they fix that slider I have no issues with it. I should add I just have it on 25 right now since it doesn’t make much difference and I can green FTs with Andre Drummond. I like user input and just want to be able to fine tune this. Last year FTs on all star were way harder.

The Lakers are straight up cheese on Superstar. I don't know how this season is gonna be like in real life, but in 2K, they're just cheese. The CPU uses LeBron and AD with zero mercy on you. I've been scrimmaging the Lakers, but they seem Warriors tier unstoppable. Also, for the first time ever in a 2K game, I'm afraid to drive to the hoop. Layups are more aggressive, but dominant bigs don't take any nonsense.

We can’t say things are broke. Now maybe in play now, but in ML I have FT sim silder at 42 or 44. Lonzo sucks at the line. It should be that way


Stop looking at things are easy folks. Look at the numbers. If a bad FT is shooting 85 percent than we might have a issue. LBJ being 6-11 from the line is a good thing

All my games are in Play Now. The user FT slider in the main menu doesn’t work. That needs to be fixed and I CAN call that aspect broken. That makes sense then because you can’t help without the sim slider. Test my theory in ML and see if that helps. I rarely test in play now, so no disrespect to your post as I have found I will find more things wrong with the game if I stay in play now

I surgically shredded them with the Bucks last night at Staples.

Sure LeBron and Davis had a couple of lob plays, but that was the highlight of their game as a duo.

I did see one animation where Davis swatted Gianni's in the paint and made him fall, but I dunked on his head at least twice.

They also kept sticking Javale and Boogie on Giannis, switching and I was eating then alive by calling an iso and .

Just was the main guy guarding him though and vismce versa and he was a non factor on both sides...but man both teams are stacked.

The cpu still spams the paint. Too much dribble, dribble, cut the ball handler off but they still maintain a live dribble and persist on getting close to the basket. Also, too many paint to paint passes. Doesn't look like NBA basketball.

I changed the sliders to get more jumpers and less drives and close shots and the Pelicans proceeded to shoot 16 of their first 20 shots in the paint or at the basket. They kept going in there even though I blocked 6 shots in the 1st quarter. Switched it back to default All-Star and it was actually better.

Jru Holiday doesn't just dribble the air out the ball every possession trying to get to the bucket. Game needs more passing and movement and more jumpers.
