Best 2K I've played in years. Really impressed. Love how you have to really focus playing man to man defense. Quicker guards can just blow by you.You can absolutely get burned.

Didn't even buy 2k last year. Was not impressed with it at all. This years just feels organic. Visuals pop and are just clean. Good face scans. Good **** 2k. Pleasantly surprised

This is the best 2k in a long time but does anybody else feel a lot of input lag? I dont know if it's this or just long animations your stuck in but i don't like it.

Input lag definitely not there anymore. You can change directions with ease now. In a way I like it, but in another way the players feel weightless now. Fastbreaks are better and occur more often now. That was the first thing I noticed since the patch was how often and how much better fastbreaks are. Before it was way too many players catching up to you.

Left stick dribbling seem a tad bit weaker then it was. Did they remove the hesi ? It don't appear to be happening anymore. Every time I try it, it never happens, instead they go into a post up/ball protect animation. More fouls are happening in the paint.

DAY1 version of the game was a pure Classic, one of the best maybe just the best of of all basketball video games genre. BUT;

But after loads of in game tune updates(You know those basketball loads up etc, they change the gameplay a lot from there.) and endlessly big patches in just only 1 week after game is released, this game is going DOWNHILL faster and faster, gameplay has regressed and murdered in terms of speed, footplanting, clipping, players weight. It's much lighter, much faster and more hectic than ever before.

Twitter Mike is on a mission to kill the game just like he did with 2k17. I can see it, i can feel it.

My impressions are based on solely Play Now Offline NBA/WNBA, MyLeague, 2KU and Blacktop on default All Star/Superstar difficulty.

So i change my word on this thread in which i implied 'this game is a classic'. NO IT IS NOT and it's not even a solid basketball game at this state.

Played 3 games this morning after the patch. Seemed pretty similar to me. Cpu gave me a bit of a harder challenge perhaps. Seemed like they blocked a few more shots and maybe were more aggressive in going for steals but overall I’m not sure I would have said anything was different if I didn’t notice there was a patch.

I’m still enjoying the game. I do think the drive and kick game is weak. I’d like to see more of that. Most of my stats are good though. I like the points in paint I’m getting, fast break, off rebounds. Can’t really complain about too much for me although I would like to see a few more 3s. Errant pass turnovers are too low but I find those frustrating so I don’t mind lol.

The user FT slider in Play Now is still broken. Put it a 0 or 50 or 100 and it doesn’t really matter. Still way too easy to make FTs on all star. Went 10/10 with Pistons in last game. I’m not joking when I say I might have hit 29 of my last 30 in game. Maybe when I go to MyLeague and have those other sliders I can fix it but I’m surprised nobody else in Play Now is noticing how easy it is to hit FTs. And last year I was just under 70% as a team on AS so something has changed quite a bit. It’s my biggest pet peeve atm.

Anyone else notice the quick sub menu is glitchy at times? Sometimes you hit the button and nothing seems to happen. And heaven help me if I do it on an in bound play. Do not do that as sometimes it locks you out and you suffer a 5 second violation.

I notice it in my league. But I advanced rotation yet it gets weird in blowouts

Nice little touch, Just got a 3 point play that Eric Gordon didn't agree with and had to be held back from attacking the ref....

MY IMPRESSION IS......Harden just hit me up for 38 points off of some of the most realistic James Harden type stuff I have ever seen in 2K. Felt like I was watching him on a national televised broadcast. Good stuff 2K.20190914_135621.jpg

That's an understatement. Everyone is like it's just one extra button press but it's not. And the favorite play thing is seriously lacking. They make it seems like people don't call more plays.

You can literally set and play for any player you want to and call it just like you did in the past, but you just refuse.

It’s no longer in the main settings page. They moved it to the user sliders section only but it doesn’t work. There is no cpu free throw slider.

Who has time for that in an online match when you're also making defensive changes. And not to mention you get disconnected after doing all of that. Yeah man not the greatest of roll out. The play calling should of stayed the same. With this new feature being a secondary thing. Keeping the format the same. But adding a feature for play calling. And don't think I've haven't tried man.
