I didn’t see much of a speed change and have played 3 games after update

I still notice fast vs slower players and I haven’t touched sliders since Friday

If anything it was a tick slow, but where it was or the change isn’t a huge deal so far

Had kind of a weird experience last night. I played as the 2000's legends against the 90's legends. It was a pretty even game through halftime and in the 3rd quarter the CPU couldn't hit anything . They went 1 for 17 to be exact. I gained a big lead and almost lost it in the 4th because I couldn't hit anything. I play on Hof by the way. Not trying to complain or saying 2k should change anything just thought that was kinda weird no way a legends should go that cold

I'm with you. Maybe it's because I play offline vs the cpu and play a pretty deliberate style.

I have noticed some positives since the update though. The cpu has called two 1st quarter timeouts when my team went on a run. Haven't seen the unnecessary half court traps.

Super small sample size (1 game) but I was shooting too high of a percentage pre update partially due to the unsound defense but it does seem that percentages have come down a bit.

I have seen the trap, but also a third red circle of the guy rotating. Where I used to could pass isn’t there. Still not perfect, but better

I challenge people to dothis today-

Go to my league and mess with sim sliders (it’s not the game sliders).

It very much affects game play. Trust me. This isn’t me just saying it. I know the values I have played with and get different results. Lower possessions per game and you will be playing a game like it’s college2k20.

I won’t say how much I heard the Kings too. Last game I played before I lowered they scored 110. They may not get to 70 this game.

All these gameplay changes is exactly why I am decided 2 years ago to be done with buying sports games around the release window. Sadly all sports games are going down this path unfortunately.

Technically, they were caving in while the demo was out and before release [emoji2959].

I would venture the vast majority of people who watch basketball don’t know what a pistol action or flare screen is. Coaches and hardcore basketball guys would but not the average fan. We do have to remember that the crowd here is a lot more hardcore than the 10M people who buy the game.

Is there home cooking built in? Whenever I’ve played terrible it’s been as a road team. Not sure but I’ve had a few real stinkers and I have been on the road each time.

I think any speed change has been minor myself. No issues.

Lastly, saw an in game injury! Reggie got nailed on a screen and suffered a rib injury.

Well I don't know if they it show it in Play Now games, but in MyLeague at the start of the game it pops up on the screen upper right corner Home Court Advantage and a letter grade. So home court advantage is a thing in this game. I like it personally, remind me of the NCAA football days when they had it.

Can't believe what I've been reading in here lately, it's NOT surprising. I knew somebody was gonna STINK-up the joint sooner than later. . . I will make changes if necessary but the game felt perfect out the box and I'm one who usually edit sliders almost immediately these last few years smh. . . shiiit's gotta STOP?!

This would absolutely be the best solution IMO. I'm not sure why they haven't explored this yet. Or maybe they have.

They can tune Offline and Online separately.
Don´t know how it is with the different Online Modes though (Park, PNO etc.).
