Here and there but very little from my experience now. But if you get caught in that trap the passing is rough out if it. I’ve turned the ball a few too many times.
I know one poster has harped in this and I agree. When I get a mismatch off a switch and Blake starts posting up a guard, there needs to be more double teams in those situations.Comment

I see alot of double teams on mismatches in the post. Now that I think about it most of the doubles I see now is in the post and I love it, makes you think quick on your feet when you're down on the block. Haven't been seeing alot of perimeter double teams lately unless I'm just killing the cpu with 1 player but that rarely happens because I try to spread the ball around and use as much of my playbook as I can.

2K's focus has changed. They might as well take "basketball simulation' off of the back of the box.
This game is no longer a sim out of the box. You need roster edits, slider edits, and only then if you're lucky you get a sim 8 months down the road. Lol!
With that being said. I'm excited to see what the roster editors will bring for 2K20. The base game is really good. It's just the tendencies, default sliders, ratings, and poorly assigned player badges all really muck up the experience.
When you have Westbrooks shooting 10 3s in the 1st 5 minutes of the 1st quarter... there's a big problem.

I can't believe what a difference it is playing with all-star sliders or superstar.. as if it is completely different game.
Played MyLeague game accidentaly on allstar and was suprised to see a win with Pelicans over reigning champs Raptors rather easy 140 -121.. that's when i checked difficulty and saw it was on allstar.
i changed the sliders to superstar and played 2 or 3 games PlayNow and got frustrated. this is BS!
in all the games i didn't touch anything considerind sliders or gameplan defence but superstar on vanilla is NOT basketball.
game cheats on almost every aspect of the game. from my players couldn't finish under the rim to not protecting the paint at all in the defence. everybody gets out of the way for ai to easily score on the drive. even when you want to pick player to defend the rim, the game chooses some odd pick or 'stumbles' the defender somehow...
crap. must find some sliders quickly.

That's exactly what I was thinking.
They just don't care about the people who want sim.
All they care about is making as much money as possible with microtransactions in my player and my team.
I'll play 2k19 until there is a good roster (e.g celticlg) and then get 2k20 for a much lower priceMFFLComment

I wouldn't say 2k doesn't care as a whole...maybe the higher up "business-minded" employees don't care but almost every year, 2k GAMEPLAY is at it's best at release so that shows me that the DEV TEAM has a clear vision of what they want the game to be and they put all of their hard work into that vision and THEN...BOOM, the "higher-ups" come in and make them patch out all of their hard work because the online community complains. I would hate to lump every employee into the same category. Just my 2 cents.

My custom sound settings are weighed heavily in favor of court sounds so I have the commentary and crowd level down a good bit but I can hear the difference in every arena when the ball hits the rim and bounce off the court, it sounds amazing on my surround sound system in my mancave!!! I also agree that the crowd responds correctly to things like scoring runs and big defensive plays.
