I feel like the AI teams really have no personality, if that make sense.

Last year playing the rockets (this was with edited rosters...), it was down right scary going up against Harden. Just not feeling that right now. It seams like all the teams play the same, and all do the same PNR and top of the key handoff play. I feel like I’m seeing no diversity in plays and styles.

Anyone else getting this vibe? Is there something I should look into?

Man I couldn’t disagree more with this...... when I play stars like Harden and Lillard they will absolutely go in a tear and torch me...... I think it’s way more immersive this year than previous versions in that way

I don’t think I agree with this completely but I also think player useage could be better. PGs seem to take a lot of shots regardless of ability. I played the Lakers once and Rondo led the team in shot attempts. Centres don’t seem to get the ball enough. Porzingus barely shot the ball when I played them. I think overall the better players might not shoot enough although it’s a bigger issue if they are a big and not an issue at all if they are a PG.

Mavs might get an update this season IMO since Porzingis hasn't played a game for the Mavs yet

I think some updates are in order in general because we have some new teams/coaches, focus of teams offenses,etc...

Already my favorite 2k thus far but @CelticLG roster with @Schnaidt1 slider setup is gone make this game the easy winner by a landslide!

One of the worst 2K games I ever played as far online. The over powered super Vegeta built Centers ruin the game. The obvious one sided gameplay

Going into my second year with the Pistons I got a new coach and now all my favourite plays are blank at the start of the game. I can edit them after I pause under Offensive Settings and add ISO, floppy etc but I have to do this EVERY game now. I can’t find how to do this from the main menu in MyLeague. Where is that menu outside of games? How can I set this once and not have to do this at the start of every single game?

Is it not under gameplan menu?? I think you gameplan for every team on the coach settings menu but I could be wrong.

I can’t find it. In the normal MyLeague menu (not in a game) if I go to the game plan stuff I can adjust rotations, check out my coach and adjust his playbook from Standard to User and stuff but I see now way to set my favourite plays. I can edit my Playbook but it only lets me assign specific plays to specific players. I see now way to edit the favourite plays. It’s annoying. I can only do it in ga,e and then it doesn’t save. I have to do it every game.

Well I've logged quite a few hours playing 2k and I honestly can't force myself to play this game. I try cause 2K is my ONLY option on PC, but It's really hard to stomach this games flaws. Baseline sprints for easy layups, in accurate foot planting for very clunky movements, players constantly with their back turns to their assignments ( These are NBA players aren't they??)

I'll do my year round hope for next year to get a game that emulates basketball, cause this years game falls very short.

Does anyone think the offline gameplay is a bit off after this patch? I personally liked it a lot better after patch 5. I don’t know, I feel like it’s a lot faster now.

Sim is no longer the standard. The base game is developed with casuals hoops fans (park players) in mind. So a lot of things are in place so that the my park guys don't complain. I mean just look at the way dribbling was reworked. That dribble system was put in a game purely to tone down dribble gods in my Park, but in the process has hurt the NBA portion of the game.
