While that one video did have examples of scripted rebounding I just don’t see that very often at all and I like the rebounding this year. After 15 games of a season with Detroit my offensive rebound percentage is 31.4% which is good because of Dre. The cpu offensive rebound % against me is 24.6%. I see no issues with that overall.

I’m glad the rebounding ratings matter this year. You want to play small ball you will get hurt on the glass. It makes players like Drummond and Capela more valuable instead of automatically being guys that you look to dump because they can’t create or shoot 3s. Are some of those players a little over powered individually on the offensive glass? Probably. But so are most offensive stars who you can dominate with and score tons of points with too. Much like good defensive players, especially those with clamps, the ratings really matter this year and I’m glad the defensive and rebounding specialists stand out instead of being useless like in the past.

Playing on a PS4 pro with patches in my gaming room. And played on my kids PS4 pro. No patches on my daughter's Console because it's not connected online.

From that I can tell you that before the patches the game played much different. It was cleaner and a touch slower. The A.I was also a lot better pre patches and updates. I won't get into everything just yet until I do some more testing. But it looks like the game has been dumbed down a bit since launch.

At this point I don't care what Mike is talking about. The dude is obviously lying through his teeth. I've experienced both versions and I can tell you that it's no placebo effect. You can clearly see that the a.i has gotten worse and you can clearly see that the game speed is faster.

Really weird. I tried an experiment with the All-Time Lakers against the current Warriors, default rosters, default Superstar sliders.

I went to Kareem a couple possessions in a row, and they refused to double him. Went to Shaq and the double came immediately almost every time (the All-Time Lakers start Kareem and Shaq at PF/C respectively).

I thought maybe it was because Draymond (guarding Kareem) is a better defender than WCS, so I tried to switch Kareem and Shaq's position to make WCS guard Kareem, but the Warriors refused to change the matchup even with the position change. I thought that was pretty cool.

Now I have to figure out what it is about Shaq that gets him doubled, but not Kareem or AD or Cousins.

Anthony Davis was one of my examples and when I posted up with him he got doubled often and at appropriate times. I wonder is it something with the defensive settings of the AI...I wonder if ACE is not triggering the doubles because the cpu is not adjusting during your games. I have not had any problems drawing double teams especially with superstars.

Man I had some fantastic games on Superstar this morning. It's good to know that when I need to get away from the foolishness that can sometimes happen online that I can have a solid offline experience.

I'm obsessed with matching up the All Time teams.

Numbers are like water. Your post made a great point. The Nba offensive reb percentages are from 26 to 19. So the off rebounding isnt that far off. Its just that the bigs grab to many and wings not enough. Thanks for reminding me to check the numbers 1st. Advanced numbers that is.

That's so damn weird. Can you maybe post a video?

I can't think of any logical reason that the AI would double-team AD the way you're seeing, but not when I post up AD against Stephen Curry.

Drop the sliders down to 10 or 15 for off and def rebounding Rudy. Drummond will still dominate the boards, but in a more realistic way. Try it out and tell me what you think.

I am going to make a thread about this once I get some more video of it. But this is the best advice ever on 2k20. Movement sliders on 19 saved the game for me, and rebounding sliders did it on 2k20.

Simply moving the sliders up to 20 on the off and def rebounding brings out warping, sliding, speed boosts and fake rebounding totals. Once you get those sliders down to about 10 or 15 the game becomes realistic again on the boards. The rebounding badges actually make sense at 10 or 15, and the game is realistic and fun again.

I advise everyone to play the HOF Cpu with the Off and def sliders turned down to 10 or 15 for the user and the CPU. I am 99 percent sure you will get a realistic experience rebounding wise.

2k20 truly is the goat with the right slider set.

Great find my guy! I have seen those warping telegraphic rebounds on a few occassions so I'm willing to try this approach.
