Damm what happened with the last patch?? defense was playing much better before the patch now the CPU is not playing defense on their assigned player...Going to the hole is back to being easy again..Easy blow bys are back!Comment

xbox has this free this weekend and pretty much try it out yearly this way. Haven't bought the game since 2k16.
Got to say really good game. I play my team and really enjoy how many options there are for single player my team. Usually during this time I do fifa single player fut but in fifa 20 they pretty much took away all the single player progression options in fut.
and even sweeter is this game is $39 this week everywhere. So I think i'll be picking this one up this year to own.Comment

Imho i think they ruined the game again like they always do ..on release day i set up a myleague with the clippers and was enjoying the game it felt smooth and responsive and my results were good
Then i put the league on pause because i wanted to wait till the season started and all rosters were accurate so i played rec center till last week and started a new myleague again with the clippers on the same difficulty (superstar) and i was getting blown out by scrub teams and the level of cheating was annoying ! Felt sluggish and couldnt make shots while the cpu continuously made shots and played locked defense even with non defenders...
Always having this experience with 2k that out the box it's unplayable but if its playable sure those patches will change that ! .
You have to dive into the slider world and get tangled up in that area which is a headache!!
Conclusion 2k offline myleague is unplayable because th difficultly levels are not given the proper treatment..i think they cater to another gamemode instead of offline myleague . Such a frustrating thing to deal with if you are a hardcore myleague playerPsn : MORO79Comment

I been having a blast man!! Only inconsistency I saw was when the game was moving in slow motion after the patch but a restart fixed that. Game is playing nicely for me. Enjoyimg the game in 3 different ways with: default everything, with Schnaidt1's sliders, and with CelticLG's roster. I can't decide which setup to use lol

Loving this game! I love the shooting, it was finally done right. I am so happy All Star Team Up is back. The gameplay is perfect. I am currently on MyTeam, so I am not sure if I had to tweak sliders against the CPU (yet).
What I Don't Like:
Jersey Creator needs a massive upgrade, we need every single team/jersey font. I can't replicate the New Jersey Nets uniforms anymore- I need to improvise. Yes, they're in the game but I like to modernize them to Nike so they're consistent with the rest of the league.
Headbands: come on, let us equip/remove headbands onto the players.
No "New Jersey" in MyTeam city selection, please put this in.
All-Star Team-Up: player specific uniforms. There has to be a way with algorithms, if we select an All-Time player so they're donning their era uniforms. Example: Jason Kidd should be wearing the 09-12 uniform, Brook Lopez should be wearing the current Nets uniform, Dr. J should be wearing the New York Nets uniforms, etc.Comment

Man this game i tell ya, i actually went out of my way to create an account to wage some war on the apologists of this game because wow... the level of incompetence i see on this site makes me assume these r the same ppl that watch new disney/marvel/SW movies, these r the werido's that just say"why are u so negative.. cant u just like stuff" ... like wow no iq points for those mouth breathers... anyways to the meat of this garbage...
The game is what it is & apparently 90% of u weirdo's play exclusively online & all that BS... i will never understand how ppl r actually happy "renting" a game, but the fact is when u r willing to drop that much money on a game u r a very sick individual & thats just plain obvious but I play only offline, like a normal person..!
The only point i want to start harping on around here is all these "2k apologists" r straight up liars & i see a few on here all the time... u ppl DO NOT PLAY ON DEFAULT DIFFICULTY whatsoever.. in fact the second u "change a slider" u render difficulty useless & the game reverts back to a semblance of rookie... in all these games once u neuter the CPU of whatever it is they do to cheat.. well now u will win 10 in a row cuz U CHANGED THE SLIDERS & R NOW PLAYING ON ROOKIE...
On actual superstar default difficulty the game plays the exact same time every game... By the end of any game the cpu will be around 60% but the way they get there is ridiculous.. in reality the cpu shoots 75% & up for 3 quarters & than purposefully missed a bunch of shots in the 4th quarter to level off the percentages... if the play bad in the 1st quarter than just reverse the algorithym... either way its unplayable & its every game.. but plz keep "pretending u r on HOF default" when each & every one of u so obviously r modding multiple sliders & than coming on here pretending that isnt the case... cheaters & frauds r the only ppl who get joy out of this piece of garbageComment

Online people R Weirdos, and offline people only play on rookie.... three paragraphs to say spew out that ignorance?
First and foremost, you are 100% wrong that slider adjustments automatically puts you back on rookie. This is factually wrong since DaCzar, a 2K developer, stated that you set in on a particular level and adjust sliders from there. It’ll still be on the level you set it on originally, even though it shows ‘custom’.
Secondly, I play on HOF default. So no, not all of the forums tinkers with the sliders. I routinely beat the computer, and the gameplay is NOT the same every time..
Certain games it’s a shootout where the CPU and I shoot over 50%. Other games it can be a grinder with low percentages and sloppy play. It varies depending on matchup, my level of focus and adjustments throughout the game.
My question to you is how long have you had the game? Maybe there are shooting a high percentage because your defense is routinely lackluster.
I’d recommend trying Pro if Allstar is frustrating you and causing you to blame the game and attack the forums, young blood.Comment
